I can watch your videos all day!!! Great job as always! I'm 33 years old and just starting the process of getting my PPL so I learn a ton from your videos.
Nice little cirrus. What a way to fly to the Bahamas. One of my fav. Songs to end the flight “Learning to Fly” Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers. I always enjoy your flight vlogs Steveo.
Back here to watch this one again. Such a pretty flight, and I enjoy Nate's very professional radio work. Crazy to think the plane you guys flew was one of the special ones to celebrate Cirrus's 7,000th plane, and the ones celebrating 8,000 are already flying!
Hi Steveo! I love your channel. As someone who will never be a pilot but has been eternally interested in aviation, ty for allowing me to live vicariously through your videos and learning lots with each one. Great work!
SteveO, you and Nate both have military experience. Thank you both for your service and another great video. I fly small stuff, mostly a few GA's and experimental autogyro's. Some fun. Kindred spirits of the Wright Brothers, we are all. Stay safe, keep the greasy side down and God speed and bless.
I didn't know Nate has military experience also . Nate Thank You for your Service Fellow Veteran . I'm an Air Force Veteran . Were you in the Air Force also?
The SR22T is a great plane. One tip on leaning, pull power back to 75% for cruise and pull the mixture back until the TIT temps are 1600 (low side of the caret). You should see CHTs around 340 to 360. I noticed your TIT was 1580 and your CHTs a little high at 378, but thats still inside the good range. On slow flight watch your AoA meter. You can also see a prounounced nose rise under 30% power.
I've been in Ft. Lauderdale exec a couple times, but never was privy to the radio communications. Thanks for that. Its great to see a somewhat familiar airstrip.
Nice Doors/Zeppelin mix I like the ending music too, very fitting! I saw Tom Petty in concert once back in June 2017 in Newark, just a few months before he died :(
Man watching ur videos makes me want to go and get a plane, I never thought in a million years I would be so excited about flying til I started watching ur videos,,, ur the best man keep it up!!
Hey Steve, this is going to sound really strange, but being locked in my condo due to this Covid-19 pandemic, I have been hitching a ride with you in your videos for the past few weeks now. I am sure I am not the only one. Really appreciate all the places you have taken me. Maybe I will be able to help out with the gas and a lunch one day. Late in the evening, when things are pretty quiet after another boring day at home, I love to zip over to the Bahamas with you as you go through the procedures, getting us both up and down. Also really liked that sim-flight you did up in BC, near where I used to work with the Canadian Coast Guard. Keep up these great videos, so nice to fly right seat with you. You make it looks so easy. I used to fly out of Abbotsford years ago, but time goes by fast and one day you wake up and you are retired. But will always enjoy being up in the flight deck with you on your journeys. Please keep them coming! Warm west coast of Canada regards. ss
Hey Steveo, Just want to say thank you for all the inspirational videos, they have helped inspire me to go for my private pilots license, I hope to join you guys up there in the sky someday soon!
trot: how many sidewalk crew chiefs are there in relation to how many there are? Ie: sidewalk biker. I`ve heard too many guys sayin` they were "crew chiefs" that are full of b.s.
Im sure it can be addictive flying the Cirrus Aircraft.....it sure is addictive watching!!! I mean it looks like this plane is sooooooo smooth on the controls and is easy to fly.......
Certainly, have spent many hours watching your vids. Finally made my first order at your store so I can start sporting some of your gear. Your aviation professionalism and video editing skills both rock. Someday maybe I'll be almost as cool 😎 Keep up the good work bro.
Thanks Steveo. Man, I love the interior of those 7,000 editions of the SR22T’s.. Loved the lilt in the voice of Ashley, the private airport radioman who gave you your departure release. I’d buy an audiobook of anything if he was reading it.
Flow a couple of years in the southeast states. Quickly found out that using my worst Scandinavian accent (am Swedish) when talking to ATC, they replied by talking really slow and clear. That made life much easier and safer. I think there is a "Macho factor" in communication that satisfies some pilots egos.
Thanks guys. I am up here the Pacific Northwest. I love the Cirrus Sr22T. I am learning about flying. You guys are an inspiration. Best wishes, NC3I (I am a ham radio dude). look up my call sign.
Steveo, looks like all of the UA-cam Vloggers will be at KOSH this year. Someone needs to setup an "open discussion" forum with P1D, Stevo1, Baron Pilot, 310 Pilot and Matt Guthmiller. You all have very interesting stories to tell, and they need to be heard. I can assure you, this would be one highly packed forum. I would be more than happy to help coordinate.
As a pilot in training i really can appreciate the way you explain things throughout the video. After watching 2 vids you got my follow! Keep it up man! I’m located in the Netherlands and in training for my PPL at KLM-Aeroclub
Days of conch salad and conch fritters..ah, Bahama life! Although last time I was in that area we got in to late..and they had run out for the day! Nice flight, and that Cirrus is amazing.
Good tunes on this one! And of course, any flight where the water is blue instead of dark green and brown (with a tinge of sewer), like up here in MA, is a great flight to watch! 😁 If I ever hit the lottery, Cirrus Aircraft is gonna love me. 😉
Beautiful plane and as always very good moment guidance on the progress of the flight. Thank you and your friends for allowing all of us to accompany you.
Flew as a passenger in the SR22 Turbo probably 11 years ago. What a smooth and powerful little plane! I am 6'3" and was comfortable in the back seat. I love the color scheme on yours. The interior is awesome, as it matches my 2013 Equinox (Black with red stitching). I hope to get my license some day. I am going to order your friends book from privatepilotblueprint. Great channel! I will definitely promote it on social media. Thanks again for your video. Brought back great memories of that flight in 2008 with my late best friend. He is flying higher than all of us now! I will see you again one day my friend..."This is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby..." :)
Great flight from a fans perspective. What a beautiful paint job on this aircraft. One of the things I have noticed about flying with you guys is how much abc “noise” you must deal with throughout the flight! It would seem quite difficult to hear exactly the correct arc person to listen to. A friend of mine is a retired United pilot who suffers from a hearing loss due to just that issue from many years of hearing all of that “noise” !
The retired guy probably flew old noisy aircraft like Beech-18s Dc-3s etc., in the early part of the career. In those earlier days headsets were often not available or worn... My experience... Those noise canceling headsets are really nice!
Wonderful video buddy. When u say 10 Left due weather the ATC assume it's 10 miles left due weather. So I suggest you request for a specific heading to avoid or the deviation in NM to avoid.
Always fun to have someone working the radio for you . And no offense to the handsome air force type , but if we get a choice , I'd rather see Captain Mindy :)

At 12:56, looks like a tornado / waterspout off the starboard side of the plane.
Shows it all the way to the ground. Quite a cool shot from above
