PUERTO RICO ROAD TRIP 2021

On today's episode of Adventure Travel, we take an exciting road trip across Puerto Rico. We begin our trip in Fajardo where we say farewell to our Airbnb (Turquoise Villa). We then give you a quick tour of a local neighborhood in Fajardo before hitting the road and driving to Palmas del Mar. In Palmas del Mar, we give you a tour of the luxury community, visit Palmas del Mar beach (covered in Sargassum), and stop by a local restaurant called La Pescaderia. While at the beach, my daughter discovers a sea turtle habitat, finds lots of Sargassum, and even encounters a unusually friendly family of turtles in a pond.
After words, we drive across the southern route of the island via Ponce to our final destination, Rincon. During our drive, we stop by the small desert town of San Isabela and enjoy some Church's Chicken. We then continue on to Rincon where we give you a tour of the luxury villa (R Casa) where we will be staying for the next few days.
After the tour, we visit the old town of Rincon where we visit a local wine shop, do some exploring, enjoy some pina coladas, and watch the sunset at playa Dona Lala. We finally finish up the evening with some Puerto Rican street food.
