Brett lee was part of that ferocious Australia which conquered India during the 2004 BGT test series. Sadly Australia went from lion status to simply street cat in the present times.
Aussies got away with a series win 2-1 as one of the test match got completely rained out on the last day with India needing 200 odd on the last day with all 10 wkta in hand and secondly there was a huge pitch fiasco sue to internal issues in BCCI which handed an obvious advantage to the Aussies, well you need luck to go your way to win even a test match in India, there is not a lot this Australian twam can so better, over the years India has anhilated all top teams like this so enjoy!!!!

Words of wisdom from the great bowler ever Mr. Brett Lee.. big fan of him .as you asked for viewers opinions...with all due respect to you Brett. Warner and Smith are absolute legends ... it's just a bad phase for them and I'm sure they will come back with a bang very soon like kohli did. But I think Manas labu is bit over confident...he is a great talent but I think he denies the fact that he will have to adapt to sub continent situations ... kwaja can hit double ton any time so can't blame him . I think Cummins need to more little interactive with the players . Having said all these Australia can still tie the series. They are a potential team .

I think this series will be the tale of the tails. Indian top order batting does not seem it will recover to their former glory they will have an ordinary 32 average series all the top 4. Australian tail (8,9,10 and 11) needs to get at least 60-70 runs.
Bring back Starc to mop of the tail, especially overs 70-90 when the ball reverses.
Australia needs about 320-350 runs in their first innings...
Now India is going to regain the Border Gavaskar, there is an infitesimal chance Australia win both tests. I think Australia needs to look at from the context of World Test Championship, if they get trounced too badly they may have a hangover in the Oval Test, because it is very likely going an India/Australia final so any progress they make in this will only bode well.
I support India but i want a well fought series...even though only 2 results are possible now, Australia can inspire themseleves and cricket loving fans. Their batting capitulations are too comical. 🤣
Aussies should play attacking cricket. In stead of sweeping all the deliveries they should play straight and down the track. As commented my most of the viewers they should focus on each delivery on merit instead of focussing on the pitch and the bowler. If Starc and Green are fit bring them both.

Have some warm up tour games before the first test. Pick the right side. Play far forward (walk down the pitch) or far back and watch the ball onto the bat

Brett Lee sir if you watch the match between India and Australia border Gavaskar trophy of course you watched you show that the Australian team setup with pre mindset safe phenomena of spin in India. In Nagpur test match where the pitch behave like only one and a few deliveries of bol turn and bounce but you review the fall of wicket of both of our major wicket on straight delivery. When you look up the second test match of Delhi you found that wicket taken by spinner but most of the wicked our fall on the straight delivery if I mention some example like steven Smith wicket
Putting away the sweep shot and playing with a straight bat might be a good start.

I have watched the two matches and according to Indian former cricketers if your defence is strong then you can stay long and score big and if your defence is tentative then no matter what you do you will get out early.
Aussies need to believe in their abilities and play positively. I don't have to teach them the technique. This Indian team is not the same as the old 90s team who play spin very well. If you dish out good spin they are vulnerable. Hit them where it hurts them the most

What Australia can do is
There are spinners who dont turn the ball much. Go after them down the track, like Shahid Afridi did to a newzealand spinner (Grant Bradburn) in starting overs of a one day match.
Send night watchmens to bat by making room and hit like Harbhajan Singh did on turning tracks and low scoring matches in Sri Lanka.
