Your music is unmatched in this regard. Listening to the rustling of leaves, birds chirping, people talking, or wind blowing gives me joy while you play. It is the perfect accompaniment to the music of nature. Extraordinary work, Malte!
What a blessing to have your grandmother turn 90 ❤ how sweet. My grandmother is 87 and I am so happy to still have her too. Im 44 years old. This compilation is beautiful like every thing you do. First time I heard the hang pan,was my return to my island home in the fair grounds where farmers sell their wares. As fate would have it,I was in deep grief and sorrow. I had just lost my husband 6months prior. I was talking to the mother of the young hangman player... it's as if her heard ,and took my grief 😔.. he poured out my feelings on that pan( for us in Carribbean it is like an upside down steelpan) I felt like for the 1st time my heart was being spoken to! Yes, this is no ordinary instrument and not an ordinary musician. There is a leveling of compassion, empathy,Empathy, just transcending of the spiritual 🙏🏿 🙌🏻 through the magic of hands touching this vibration!!! The young Rastta brother took me on a road of healing,I accepted grief,but also realized sorrow was a choice... since then I have chosen to Live,and not merely survive💫💫🙏🏽🙏🏽🕉💜❤

In the near future, unfortunately, not for now, I'm already completely planned. But never say never, maybe one day. Otherwise you come to a workshop even if it is not in your area 💛

Dear Malte , I read in the discription of your retreats what playing the hangdrum means for you. I can feel en hear that. My illness is part of my inner healing, and it is hell and heaven at the same time. Because I have to be alone now en can't do what I want anymore I discovered more then ever what I can do with my body and my voice to heal myself. My body and voice are for me what the hangdrum is for you...
