DS7 Crossback Review | The most underrated SUV? | PHEV

- DS is the French brand that's focusing on building some really premium cars. Whether it's a hatchback like their newly released DS4, or an SUV like the DS7, every DS captures the eye and makes you look twice. In our latest review we take a test drive in the DS7 Crossback. The version we had was the PHEV which is perfect for families who want to do the school run using electric power only, but then want to go on an adventure around Ireland on the weekend.
From a gorgeous interior, to some beautifully crafted headlights, the DS7 is breathtaking to look at.
Very often we think of the German manufactures when someone mentions 'Premium SUV', however after driving the DS7 around Ireland for a couple days, we will begin to think a little more laterally.
We hope you enjoy our review, and thank you for watching.

I wasn't an initial fan of this reviewer with the D4 accent...but I got over myself...good review and not over zealous happy go lucky review like they do in the UK. He likes his job and it shows
great review.....this review has me thinking and wanting the DS7..... saw it today in Gowan Motors and looks amazing ....
Thanks for this review. Seriously thinking of the DS7 PHEV being my next car, and this helps.
one the worst phev! don't get near them.
Nice
Complexity is the mother of unreliability
GLC is 20-30cm longer bro. It’s not even close. You can compare it with bmw x1 maximum. 😂
Depreciation is this cars achilles heel. Sadly acquiring parts is another. I have owned both the diesel and petrol versions. Great car and very comfortable, but just not reliable.
What issues did you have please. I'm seriously tempted by the DS7 but seen a number of comments about reliability but nothing specific.
Rear suspension arms, steering locks shuts car down, ad blue issues, the list goes on. @@MyNameSucksBad82
Rented one last week, what an awkward fidgety car. Bluetooth was impossible to disconnect from, the automatic shifter is the most counter intuitive thing ever, found myself shifting into neutral multiple times by accident, hard to put into park, impossible to turn off the lane correction, which was a nightmare on small country roads, pushing me into oncoming traffic. Front and rear windows dont open all the way down, and of course awkward french center console window controls, which is just something I'm not used to. Totally turned off
it's one of the worst hybrid car! Wouldn't recommended to anyone, maybe it's a good looking SUV but that's about it! I haven't tried 1.6 petrol engine with 225BHP only issue is how reliable it can be on a long run as it's too much BHP for a 1.6 engine... But deffo avoid DS7 Hybrid cars at least for now unless all you doing is school run and shopping! once you run out of battery the extra weight cause the 1.6 petrol engine to struggle and run inefficient.
