@Maryam M. if being serious, i read that kittens are possible to tame, but they still are probably very hard to manage. As you mentioned, they are wild and prefer surviving alone. But they shouldn't hunt people unless they consider them dangerous.
In so many ways, this cat reminds me of my beloved cat, Apple who passed in 2020 at age 16, rest in peace my great friend! Apple was a gigantic cat. He was a hybrid cat with a natural wildcat that roams the forests of Kentucky. He was similar in color to this cat. Everyone who met him were overwhelmed and asked me if I were sure he was a real cat! Even two cops who were in my home after being robbed and held hostage one cold winter day, they jumped when Apple came out from his hiding spot and asked what kind of an animal he was and if I were sure! He was very unique, just as this cat is!!!
@@sonaliwithgusto That was in 2011. He was as solid as a rock. Don't let his belly fool you. He was just enormous and hard to pick up. He broke a cat carrier just by gripping the ground and jumping, hit it with his back and he broke free!
@@TheNatachiXD Thank you. His head was really big, even though this video is rather hard to tell. He was just a big, warm, cuddle cat. He was talkative, even throwing his voice often. When his twin passed 3 YEARS before he did, Apple's heart seemed broken and he was all I had left. I was so used to the two cats entertaining each other, looking after one another, and then it was just Apple, myself, and my wife. They were happy times, as we still had Apple with us. But he passed very quickly, at the start of the pandemic and no vets were open. He waited for my wife to wake up from sleep and meowed one last time to her and he let go, and passed in her arms. They were my wife's first, then ours once we were together. We have hundreds of videos, much better ones, but we just have not been in such a great mood about posting anything since they passed. My wife cries every time she sees a photo or hears me playing them meowing and playing. She, my wife, rescued them and had to bottle feed them to save them from starvation as kittens. They were very attached and they even acted as her guards. She has epileptic seizures nocturnally, and the cats would alert when she would go into one, she stops breathing during the nocturnal seizures so it was a really good thing that they did. Now I try to watch her as often as I can sleeping, and try to stay awake and make sure she is fine.

Yep, accurate description title. Cat rolls in snow. Stops. Looks around. Stares at camera w/ expression of “ That was fun. Now what?” Check that off the bucket list…😉
So fluffy and so cute! I’m curious if they will ever be domesticated. I’d love to have one as a pet, although it would probably be unethical, unfortunately. Viewing them is enough, though. Truly majestic creatures.
@@HUYI1 The Soviets figured out how to domesticate wild foxes, so it might be possible. That being said, the fact that Pallas's cats are susceptible to lots of diseases that occur at low elevation makes it a lot trickier to figure out how they could be ethically domesticated.
@@JackHankeAnd Foxes are pretty different from cats, especially these kinds of cats that are a lot more particular about their habitat. Lots of cats can't be domesticated and this is likely one of them, just how it is. We can't have anything and everything as pets.
@@mg725 I would be very surprised if anyone had tried to domesticate them (especially since I looked it up and there’s no record of any such attempt). They’re reclusive, solitary, and live in thinly-populated areas; not the most obvious species to attempt to tame. Given that these cats don’t seem hugely different from the species that were originally domesticated, it seems likely to me that they could be bred into a domesticated breed, given time. That doesn’t mean I’m advocating for it, though. Too many potential issues.
Oh my gosh. So beautiful. Saw one at the San Diego Zoo. He begged for us to come pet him. And we did. He bushed up and down the fencing. Probably hoping we'd let him out. Would love to take him home. haha

You're lucky it didn't bite your arm, otherwise it would have been put down. Stupid humans wanting to touch wild animals is what gets them killed. Yes, they're cute, but they're still a wild animal and should not be touched.
