- From aboard the IMDboat at San Diego Comic-Con, legend Stan Lee performs a scene from Kevin Smith's upcoming 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot' and cracks up Kevin Smith.
Kevin must cry watching this now. RIP Stan
He teared up talking about it in his podcast Fatman Beyond
My allergies.
diredeath jenkins go to Kevin’s UA-cam channel and watch his road to reboot episodes , in the new Jay and silent bob he will be paying HEAVY homage to stan
But did Stan do the cameo before he passed away or not? Cuz this is from 2017 so I was wondering if they filmed it back then.
He had to reboot his heart first
I've never seen a 94 year old that's so coherent and sharp as Stan. Usually people can barely talk at that age
PlatinumState it was a skrull
Betty White?
How many do you know
I'm somewhat surprised how he even manage to talk like he still in his 60's at that age without completely out of breath or almost pass out from exhaustion alone at that age like most people do.🤔
JJ lmao
You know, in that Fatman Beyond Tribute to Stan, Kevin mentioned how one of Stan's caretakers told Kevin, "He loves you." I really believed he did love Kevin. Think about it, he always wanted to be an actor, but chose writing because acting didn't pay at the time. And then decades later one of his fans asks him to act for the first time in a movie. It's really a beautiful thing. I really think Kevin was something really special to Stan.
Aren't you that guy with the action figures?
@caveman Versace i'm pretty sure Mallrats was only his 2nd cameo too which is crazy when you think about it (first being a Hulk gig) and now his last 2 will be J&SB Reboot and Jason's directing project.
@caveman Versace That recommendation is like suggesting someone take rat poison because it tastes good.
If you DON'T love Kevin Smith it's because you're an asshole who hates life. There is nothing about that oaf that isn't loveable. He's such a big sweetheart of a man how could you have anything to say about his personality that is negative?
@@ginge641 If you're talking about TTG!TTM, I've heard even though the show sucks, the movie is actually pretty funny
He's not gone he's just in another universe.
He went to look for Uncle Ben.
He’s making cameos all over existence
I'm not crying, you're crying.
He's gone back to the moon to sit and watch over us.
Stan is Now in the Andromeda Galaxy blessing them with the MARVEL UNIVERSE
"Get the hell outta my scene and go get Jay." This warms my heart. So deeply missed.
What a lovable man! Stan is the best!
Yeah that lovely guy. *snickers*
so true bro...the last gentlman!!!
Kepano 808HI you are what's wrong with society
He sincerely adores that man. You could tell he was probably distraught after his death 🤧
RIP THE MAN, THE LEGEND
I'm still waiting to see a Stan Lee cameo where he is a janitor for the Avengers and he sees Thor's hammer on the coffee table and he picks it up and just wipes the table under it and sets it back down.
I would love that so much.
You need to write the Avengers movies. You're a fucking genius.
This would be amazing! :)
:(
Chill, he stole this from the LEGO marvel game
This made it into the mid credits scene of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot
1:26 "now i'm gonna act i'm not stan lee, i'm a person!"
Stan lee = One Above All confirmed!
Jack Kirby is the One Above All.

"Trivia
In Deadpool: Secret Agent Deadpool #6, the One-Above-All bears a striking resemblance to Jack Kirby."
Stan Lee is a national treasure. He deserves to have a monument or statue in the heart of Manhattan.
Absolutely. He's pointing to the sky, and the pedestal reads "Excelsior!"
@Thoth Atlantis Jew*
@@ThreadBomb that would be beautiful
Kevin was just talking about this exact moment on his podcast, cool of them to post it...RIP Stan # #THANKYOUSTAN
I love the dynamic, love and admiration these two men have for each other. Excelsior
that stan lee chuckle is the best
“I’m not Stan Lee, I’m a person”
That was a throwaway comment but it actually has a lot of resonance
God bless these 2 beautiful creations.
Jay and silent Bob reboot is gonna be a love letter to the late Stan Lee I know it.
"Get Jay and get the hell outta my scene"
_dead_
Whoa, Stan's a real trooper. He did ComicCon mere weeks after his wife passed away. My condolences to him, hope he preservers himself though wonderful guy!
I picture kevins closet is one giant room filled with hockey jerseys jeans and baseball caps. Love these guys. Comic heros, stan lee is everyone's awesome grandpa.
I still can't believe Stan is gone. Thank you for the memories my friend.
I am really happy for Kevin. He has built such a great career on doing his own thing. You can have you criticisms about him and his movies but no other celebrity has graciously accepted the mantle he was given in such a humble way. He treats his fans like they are family and looks thrilled to be there no matter what he does.
I'll saw this in the movie.... Shit bro, I cried like a baby!
Nice movie. I love it.
. . . H E Y F E L L A
Stan Lee:100% sharp and on point
Well let me tell ya, Stan Lee looks and is really sharp for being 94 years old. I've worked a lot with the elderly and very very few of them look that good at 94.
Daniel Strattonbury Man at 94 years old and he STILL looks freaking awesome
Daniel Strattonbury It's amazing what shit-loads of money can do for your spirit!
Green Is Not A Creative Colour Oh HELL FUCKING YEAH My Man
Don't think you really read his post or you're the true troll seeing he truly isn't as sharp and on point as he used to. Not to say he isn't a genius, nor is he saying he's a bad actor. It's just the fact that Stan is getting to the age where we won't be seeing him for much longer so yes, Cameos are about the only option for him but still better than no Stan at all!
Jay and Silent Bob coming back? Awesome!
That was beautiful RIP can't wait to his part! I love that some ppl are already crying that his final cameo wasn't a Marvel movie lol let's not forget his 2nd (?) Cameo was Mallrats in 95' I'd say his last 2 cameos being a Marvel and Smith film couldn't have worked better and this sounds like more of an actual role. Glad we finally got the trailer. But now im wondering if I have Jay and SB Reboot mixed up with Jason's thing he's directing oh well. Edit: which if he's in both would mean his last 2 cameos are Jay and Kevin projects! Snoochie boochies!!
Long live Stan Lee
Kinda ironic isn´t it...
Oh boy
Sorry bud.. I got some bad news.
@@RonPaulRevolution500 90+ years is a Long Life, soooo
I hope this man live a long, long, long life.
This is the most beautiful and inocent thing I've ever seen and itmakes me cry little
Stan is such an entertaining guy. I'd love to see him and Kevin do a project, maybe just a documentary discussion on the past-future of comics.
love these interviews but I wish they weren't so short.
RIP Stan Lee Thank you for everything... excelsior!
ur welcome
When I get to Stan Lee's age, I want to still have this much fun in life too.
His birth name is Stanley Lieber and the german word 'Lieber' can be loosely translated as 'dear'.
And man, he is dear.
When he said "can we just do it now instead of waisting time" i felt that.
Rip stan the man
This just broke My heart.
For the legend that he is, he is such a personable and down to earth guy!
I hope this is included as a post credit scene or dvd extra for the movie
Stan is almost hitting a 100! And he still sharp. God bless him even more.
He's 95, he's still got a long way to go before 100.
He's gone...
He's almost hitting a one hundred??

RIP Stan Lee. EXCELSIOR!!
Damn. Tears.
Truly the One Above All
stan Lee needs his own movie
Well...
..Needed, Rest easy Stan
CGI.
He's getting one actually
I think at this point it's an inevitability. We will see one, I would bet money.
These two. ❤️🤓
Stan you are sorely missed. Kevin man. Keep doing you.
"Hey, fella!" Love how he just throws right back to the 50's verbiage
Dude that was hard to watch. With Stan gone and knowing that if a few minutes, maybe seconds, of this reality played out differently we could have been watch to legendary men who had past having this conversation.
I'm glad Kevin is still with us. And while I've never been a comic guy I thank Stan Lee for all he did for this world. He truly made it a better place.
I'm so sad he never got to be in the movie I'm sure Kevin made something great for him in the movie though! R.I.P Stan Lee.
1:55 I love his laugh
R.I.P. Stan Lee 🙏👼😇
Stan. I really hate the Stan Lee easter egg in every marvel movie, and i'm sad you're wife has departed, but goddam after watching this...
.... you made me realize you're a little precious national treasure. Really glad you're sticking with us.
MrRetlav the only person I ever hear said they hate Stan Lee cameos
Oh I know this guy. He shows up in every Marvel movie. Funny dude.
I seen him on Virginia st..in Reno NV the man is magnificent
God damn, I love Stan Lee.
What an honor to have seen the late great stan the man lee
I always remember that DVD where Kevin Smith interviews Stan Lee about his whole carreer but everything Stan Lee really wanted to talk about was Kevin Smith's movies.
Which DVD was that? I have most of Kevin Smiths movies on DVD, so maybe I could watch it, it sounds adorable.

I love you, Stan.
This is sad Stan lee never got to be in this movie rip A legend his spirits. And his Legacy Will run forever
It's easy to see they loved spending time together ❤️ if only the movie had started filming earlier.
Lol He really does refer to Jay as the "Other Fella" I thought you were kidding about that Kevin! R.I.P Stan
RIP Stan.... We'll always love you.
Stan Lee such a humble geniune great man! a visionairy, and creator of dreams and fantasies!.
iam not gonna say i miss you, you life on forever in the worlds and characters you created!
Can this please be animated so it can be included in the movie? Stan deserves his cameo in this movie.
FYI SPOILERS: Just saw Jaw and Silent Bob Reboot with Kevin, as part of his roadshow. The third act features a major supporting character called the Director, and Stan was meant for that role. Instead, the role is played by a relevant celebrity cameo that Askew fans will recognize, and this clip follows the credits.
R.i.p. stan lee
We do not question Stan Fucking Lee.
Man this is awesome yet so sad. Love to the real life superhero stan lee. Kevin actually said that he is putting stan Lee’s face on Jason lee’s character’s shirt (from mallrats, remember that cameo?) and it won’t be as easy to make out just like in mallrats who it is, so I’m sure they will have a scene where they explain what’s on his shirt and maybe he can say ‘some guy gave me advice in a mall, that guy was stan lee!’ Or something. Love Kevin and his films as well, can’t wait for the reboot
2 amazing men had they best
Take my money now.
Legend
I want to see a crossover between Jay and Silent Bob & Harold and Kumar.
I hope they got to make the scenes with stan for the movie.
It looks like grandpa spends time with his grandson :D
Stan Lee don't slow down for nothing. Dude lost his wife and he's still doing shit, still going out there and still making people happy. What a fucking awesome guy.
Love it!
Rest in peace Stan
i will bow down to Kevin Smith if he does get Stan Lee in his movie
Wutang2099 Cinema he was in Mall rats
Start Bowing Down 😂
Mall Rats :D
He was in Mallrats, Yoga Hosers, and Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie.
Hahaha.
Rest in peace buddy
REST IN PARADISE STAN LEE!!!! Thanks for the gifts, moments, and messages.
RIP Stan 😌
I enjoyed this thanks Kevin
I hope to god theres something they recorded 🥺
Can't wait for a new k Smith movie
RIP Stan Lee. Kevin Smiths other Dad.
R.I..P Stan Lee legend.
omg never met stan lee wish I did, so funny and charamastic, just melts your heart
Cow Boys he’s such a sweet guy me and my son go to meet him
Kevin has always extolled his love for the Creators that gave him his dreams.
This moment is penultimate.
every time i see an interview with stan lee he seems like the coolest dude ever
Ah man....would of been a very funny scene.
RIP Stan Lee
This was so beautiful in the credits of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Stan is so missed
I'm truly saddened at Stan Lee's passing. His works got me through many trials in life. RIP Stan.
Oh Stan, you’re going to be missed.
How do you not love these two people?
"Let me help you out of your chair grandma"
The only good thing about captain marvel was Stan Lee's short cameo. And he was reading something. :(
He will be missed
I would've LOVED to see Stan's cameo in the next Jay & Silent Bob movie! 😥😥
Can't wait to see him in the next Marvel movie, what Cameo will he do this time.
God. I didn't realise how much I love Stan Lee until he passed. This world is beautifully cruel.
It's a shame people don't appreciate you when you're alive eh..
@@palmeristo very good point.
Thumbs up if you came here from Fatman Beyond
I really hope they do some video editing trickery to us this in reboot
