if i hadnt used spinning weapon i probably would have had to spend at least another minute and a half fighting him. that being said i still feel good about the kill since i was dodging everything consistently at that point

Wow, this is the most impressive no hit Mohg fight on UA-cam. All of the other ones use cheesey club builds where they just keep Mohg staggered the whole “fight” so they never have to dodge hits. This deserves way more views, well done!
Watching this video makes me understand why I'm struggling so much against Mohg. I'm just not taking the fight the right way, getting frustrated because I can't see the windows where you can hit him. Now I do. Thanks for this, I'll try this on my next playthrough
Trying to do this at sl 65 with 36 points in vigor. All attacks in second phase seem to one shot. Pretty hard to learn second phase. Thanks for the video!
oh yeah it's stupid hard to avoid all the fire, once he starts jumping away it becomes a problem of making him aim in certain directions so that you have as wide of a space to run around in as possible

i dont remember if the curse damage is based on a percentage of your max hp or if it's a flat number; i know ive seen people with a lot of hp drink from their flask between the hits of the curse to survive it though. for me it was just easier to get the physick and use it then immediately forget about it, it lasts like 5 minutes so youre pretty much guaranteed to be covered when he hits phase 2. and just cuz i was curious i tried rolling through the hits of the curse but it doesnt work
@@265deadpopes that attack gurantees my death even at 55 vigor. Assuming you have no choice but to heal or bubble through it. Sick fight tho! I came here just to find out how to avoid that attack.
Here's a quote from the description of this video which you should have read, "no hit besides the unavoidable damage during the transition to phase 2 of course"
technically you could say it was a no hit fight, but not a no damage fight. but i guess that depends upon what rules define each. still very impressive!
@@petermadsen4583 I almost agree with you but still no. When the damage proc, your character has an animation of being hit by something. So, personnaly, I count a hit then this is not a "no hit" sadly :(.
@@alexandrereynaud7884 but isn't it unavoidable damage? Like when people are doing no death runs in dark souls 1 Seath will kill you at first no matter what. Also in Elden ring, you die in the tutorial area, but people will still call it no death runs cause it's supposed to happen. So technically it was a no hit fight
@@garou4936 Indeed, in DS1, you can't avoid the death against the first encounter with Seath. Same in Elden Ring for the first boss. BUT ! Mogh is killable before he can trigger his second phase so I consider it counts as something avoidable (that is not easy of course).

Bro what? Mogh’s poise is extremely high; you definitely have to dodge multiple combos and consistently land charge R2s to break poise.

You can parry the blood sky spill attack with carian retaliation and get a couple more hits in

Shield is on his wonderflask which is on a time limit
Also at the end his HP was 522/522

Well technically you can only avoid those hits with a talisman as it its a whole area attack absolute unavoidable without it im pretty sure
