    Really enjoyed that one Joe, looked like great sport! When would 6mm come into action there, bigger fish or being bothered my little fish? Great work 👏👏👏

      Sometimes you just get too many indications with 4mms. Switching to 6s and feeding fewer can really score 😎

    Really good video, Joe. I like having more elastic as well. I don't like it when a big fish bottoms out the elastic. I would appreciate your advice on getting my 1st take apart pole. Should I get...
    Daiwa Matchman 7m margin Pole.
    Or
    Preston innovations 8.5 edge monster.

      @MatchFishingFilms  8 місяців тому +1

      Go and see if you can try one. Both will be good options though

      I would love to, but I live in the U.S. and are not sold here. I am leaning toward the Daiwa because of the 5.8mm PTFE bush. I like to use the strongest elastic I can get. At the moment I have a 5m telescopic fiberglass Whip-Pole elasticated with a 3m, 3mm solid latex elastic from tip to but. It's not what you guys have over there in the U.K but it's the best I can do. 😊

      I tied up some 0.17 hook lengths and they just snapped clean in half I wasn’t the only one on the match to suffer with the same problem either .

    Love watching your videos Joe.
    Just got a little suggestion for you.
    A lot of anglers are using the word “Perfect” way way too much.
    Des Ship being the absolute worst.
    Check this video and note how many times you say perfect.
    It really isn’t necessary mate.
    Keep up with your great videos.

      My comment wasn’t meant to be derogatory just something to think about mate.

    cant believe you say 0.12mm hooklength is light ..i often fish 0.09mm to 20 or even 22 for fish of that size with no problems at all..yes maybe loose the odd one but outweighed by more bites hooked..also you can get away with a more comfortable length of lash fishing finer cause fish holds on a fraction longer
