My second year of college in NZ, haha oh man, this is one of the first songs that I ever really got into. When I was younger I was never really passionate about music until I was about 13, and this is one of the first songs that clicked in my head, and I just had to find out what it was. It was a feeling I never really had before then, but I'll remember this song helping me develop my first real interest in music
This was "mainstream" when it came out, as were most of Ladyhawke's singles so I don't really get how this is "digging up treasures". She was signed to major label, had massive promotion/marketing and constant airplay throughout the year of release. Also, this is on VEVO so it's about as "mainstream" as you can get. Why not actually do some digging into independent artists and look outside of UA-cam; there's a lot of excellent music out there, both in the mainstream and otherwise.
