You did not show us the back. Also, this is not Sashiko. This is more correctly a larger stitch type of sewing. As sewing experts, you should not be calling this Sashiko.
This is an insult to Sashiko artisans and completely misses the purpose of Sashiko. If you don't have time to learn and understand do not call your quilting Sashiko
I quilt on my Sashiko and love it! I am unable to Sashiko in the ancient method due to debilitating arthritis and would never consider using my machine as an insult to "Sashiko artisans" anymore than I would consider using one of my BL embroidery machines as insult to those before me that used hand needles and thread. I'm so grateful to the BL designers and engineers that make it possible for me to continue my lifelong passion. Find peace.
@@vickijohnson4668 Sorry, it is most certainly quilting and using this beautiful machine to Sashiko stitch on any project is a blessing to each owner/user. The smiles of joy and the gracious words spoken when I gift or display a Baby Lock Sashiko machine created item is a tribute to the original artisans. Not only has this machine enabled users to duplicate the original stitch, but it has introduced so many to the ancient art. Find peace.
Hi. Awesome...I like your pin. Type of threads for this machine. Thank you.
Fantastic!
Ahhhh! I want one!! how cool for those projects on a deadline. How cool is this?!
I love this, not a keen handsewer, too flighty! So I will be asking my store if we got one!
I wish this was sold in Australia….please Baby lock !!!!!
Good day I cant find any way to change my needle on my Sashiko machine aiam from South Africa Please help I look on UA-cam no video at all Thanks
Linda, does the Sashiko machine have alternative feet?
I like the machine. I have a question ... what does the back look like? Does the stitch have the same appearance on the back?? Thank you :)
sovereigns1grace from another video i watched the back looks like regular stitching.
The back is a chainstitch, with no spaces between stitches.
Mama... I just bought a Sashiko machine and, no. The stitches on the back look like just nice, regular straight stitching.
Can you use the chain stitch on a regular machine?
Gostaria de saber se é possível fazer este ponto em máquina domestica e mecânica?
I've heard this machine is mega-expensive...
Baby Lock - I just bought a brand new Sashiko machine & I did not get that book🤔🤔🤔

@@MPCrafts461 I did not mean to imply that what you are doing is wrong, but it is not Sashiko and you should really call it quilting
