Ola Khongelani, I just wanted to reach out and say how much I enjoyed this video about being an architecture student at Wits! It is incredibly insightful and came at the perfect time for me, as I'm about to embark on my own journey in architectural studies. Your video really answered a lot of my questions about the work exercises and practical aspects of studying architecture. I found it super helpful and informative. I would love to see more content like that from you in the future! Thanks again for sharing your experiences and knowledge. Looking forward to more great content! Best regards, Mr Dibongz
hey bro , thanks for the vid, I submitted my portfolio and rn im just waiting for coms if im gonna get the interview or not and i wanted to know, were the interview questions based on our own lives or was it more of a quiz thing? And does the interview mean u have been selected or just moving to the next step of the selection
They’re really testing your creative capabilities. Because they haven’t specifically said you can’t use a stapler, don’t limit yourself to use a stapler for its intended purpose. Imagine what they would think if you used wool to thread through the material instead like a shoe lace? Or you cut up the material join like a puzzle piece? Are the staples you’re using telling us more than it’s just being used to hold the material in place? What do you think? What do the staples want to be?
I second this comment. If they haven't stated that you can't use a material/object, you should be able to use it. However, the more creative your solutions are to the constraints you have, the better your work will be received.
Lol, that's a bit of a complicated question because it varies from University to University. So we started with 11 modules/courses in 1st year then it went down to 7 in 2nd year and 5 in 3rd year. But the 3 consistent courses/modules are Design, History and Construction.

Hi ,so y name is Mandisa and I’m in matric .I want to study Architecture at Wits next year.So realistically speaking how is the life of an archi student?Do you guys cross night all the time or is it a lot of work but manageable in a way ?
Hi Mandisa, hope you doing well. I'm not going to lie to you. It is hectic. And it is barely manageable 😂😂. I'm working on a video now that will give you a realistic picture of how it is to survive this degree. If you have personal questions, you can dm on Instagram @Khongelanin
Yeah. I've heard that UP is more construction and mathematics oriented. I would say that Wits has more of a focus on social responsibility and is quite political.
do more architecture content even work yall do in class. THIS IS DOPE
Love your content✨. I’m a Wits Architecture graduate and I would’ve loved this info back in the day.

In the making part,Can I use a stapler since they said you can use a inexpensive material but not a glue or tape?

Hey there.By the way how many subjects do you do in architecture?

Depends on the uni because I’m at UP and physics is required
