We got duels pre-new July pack! So I was hoping to hit Master V before the release of Yubel and was on pace to do so BUT I got absolutely giga sacked when I hit D2 and demoted all the way to D5 on a 9 game losing streak, it was massively bad. I took time off to celebrate my partner's birthday so stopped playing the game for a bit and climbed back to D2 but it was just before Yubel's release. I'm dreading going versus Yubel personally, the deck just seems like a pain for Lunalights' win condition but we'll do our best to tackle the situation. Until then, enjoy the video! Excellent work with this duels. The OTK against dragon link was realy awsome. This season is a weird ride for me too. Most of the time I see Tear or stun. Yubel is for sure a scary match up. My thought is to play super poly with the loving defender. Could work for Luna Light. Wish you luck for the rest of this season. LUNA LIGHTS BEST DECK!
There’s a lot of tech options I wanna try before tackling them but it’s not a good matchup for pure Lunalights tbh at least on paper. I faced a lot of Tear pre-Yubel pack but it wasn’t so bad tbh. Lunalights best deck!!

@@norn-sama3407 I’m pretty meh on Super Poly personally with the amount of varied boards there are nowadays. Yubel fusions can’t even be fused off Dx the extra deck is your toolbox, we have no locks so we can play whatever and just kill every deck in front of us so long as they don’t floodgate. Droplet and Talents/Thrust are the only board breakers I highly rate currently.
@@royalvandyke I see, I'm not looking forward to the new yubel cards, it doesn't look like a good matchup for lunalight I tried superpoly a bit and it's pretty funny when it works but I know what you mean, I am just a bit scared of towers like expurrely Noir
@@norn-sama3407yeah it will be a matchup of skill imo and a bit of luck. Towers matchups aren’t so bad, just depends on the towers I guess. I just don’t rate Super Poly highly if you want to remove towers, just run a Kaiju at that point.
It depends tbh, you’ll have to fit backrow removal into the combo lines since Nightmare Pain will do a lot to mess up the win condition but hoping handtraps might also work, I’ll have to brush up on Yubel.
@@royalvandyke I think it'll be similar to dealing with Nemleria since they also have a really annoying backrow. I'm not super familiar with Yubel either, but I got unlucky and opened a playset of her UR's, so might as well test it out before dusting them,
Meaby it is me but isn't now worth playing 3 nib in deck becouse of yubel and anti meta deck Like mikanko or infernoble? Meaby kaiju will be an also a good idea.
@@Jumani111 Nibiru is absolutely awful into Yubel because you can set up Phantom very very easily and it can play through Nibiru and you should never play 3 of it as that is just a brick waiting to happen. Lunalights also has a great matchup into Mikanko and Infernoble is very rare. There are much better tech options.
