I had the bad luck to be rearranging my room, when something stupid heavy fell on the screen taking it out of action for a while. I'm hoping my computer screen replacement is just as easy.

Hello, Is there a screen protector between the screen bezel and the screen itself ? Because my screen is scratched and I don't know if it's necessary to change the whole screen or if I can remove the bezel and change the screen protector (if it exists). Thank you for you reply !
Unfortunately no. Full hd-connector does not support LVDS-connector LCD panels. New connector standard is called EDP, and only this kind of panel cam be connected. EDP LCD panels are more expensive. And there are more problems :) - new panel has different mounting points configuration.
i have acer v3-471g, if i want to change my laptop display from HD to full HD display can it be done? or we ony can change to the same spec of display?

Depending on the Acer v3 model, you got 30 or 40 pins, be careful. If you want to check the pins of your screen, take the screen model and search info about your screen (or buy the same screen model that you broke)
The plastic clips that keep the bezel on are crap. 90% of them on mine broke during the repair. I'm going to have to glue the edges of the bezel on. Did anyone else have this issue?

Correction - DC02C004600 connector does not support LVDS, it needs EDP-signal LCD panel.
one more thing, the full-hd LCD LVDS connector has to be 30pin, on right side.

It's possible. But you need na 2-channel, full hd LVDS cable p/n: DC02C004600
My screen was a 40pin, make sure you know the exact number before you purchase a screen.
