Happy New Year everyone! Thank you all so much for continuing to support me, this town, this channel. It really means the world and let's everything happen! If you're interested in being involved in the studio project, email studio@cerrogordomines.com . Hope to see many of you all up at Cerro Gordo this year!
As a young man we would camp in Saline Valley and explore it on motorcycles in the mid 1970's. Our route into the valley would be up the mountain from Keeler past the junction to Cerro Gordo. We never went there but it was always a curiosity. I am amazed someone like you has come along with so much enthusiasm to preserve it's legacy. You have all the qualities it takes to make this project happen: promotional and social media skills, financial resources, a strong love of adventure and the outdoors, and most of all a true dedication to preserving this history for the public. This could happen at numerous places, but somehow fate led you to this one. I have to say I am truly impressed with your enthusiasm and determination and have enjoyed following your journey.
and what is being done now will live on and become part of the history of place. Lydar is at the forefront of current technology and is perfect for this project of documenting the old mines.
Three years already. I remember stumbling onto this channel while I was on the clock at my old, boring, soul sucking day job when you posted your third or fourth video and I immediately had this longing for change, and growth, and something new. And here I am now, out of that old job, running my own successful photography business thanks in part to you Brent & to Cerro Gordo. Appreciate you more than you know!
I can’t afford much ,but if I could that ghost town would have everything you need! Thank you for taking the risk that others are afraid take. Because of you memories will be made and history not forgotten! Thank you for keeping the history alive.
Ten dollars is quite a bit of water I'm sure he thanks you because if I was in his position even if I had thousands of dollars that ten dollars will still make a difference
@@GhostTownLivingIn the meantime, I'm gonna email over a track of mine that you're beyond welcome to use as background music in one of your vids if you'd like. I think that'd be so cool!
Brent, you are a 21st century pioneer, explorer, adventurer, historian, builder, inspiration. Your work brings such joy. And the quality of your videos is exceptional (music, drone footage, editing). Many blessings to you from a 2nd generation Southern California - born woman. My grandparents came west in 1909.
C. Conrad and co Budweiser bottle 1880 had a cork stopper. It's worth about $70. Please keep it (Derrrr..... I know you will) it will look better at it's home. I can always see by the buildings, the history and the magnificent vistas, why you love it there so much. I'll be retired in 2024, I would love to come and offer some carpentry skills to build some rustic cabins.
We Live In A Time Where, One Man And His Daily Life In A Former Ghost Town Is Far More Interesting Then The New Hollywood' Blockbuster... Thumbs Up For Brent
Cerro Gordo should have a VR room where visitors can use VR headsets to explore the mapped out mines without having to go in them. The 3D mapping will be immensly valuable Brent, and I hope that you and those who help you out will be able to capture as much of the mines as possible. Thank you for your devotion to perserving Cerro Gordo and its history!
Brent, I never cease to be amazed at your eloquence. I don't know how many takes you need for one of your monologues. I don't know if prepare a "speech" and recite it, or if it all comes from the hip, but you are one of the best story tellers and motivational speakers around. The way you choose your words that brings us all along on your journey. You have a gift. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Uggghhhh I *DO* map things for a living, both with imagery and lidar, and i would freaking LOVE to be able to work on this project. I also have family history in oil and mining in california and it would be super cool to be down there and learn some more. but I'm in Canada and the logistics of the work visa etc would be challenging, even if I worked my normal job (which is remote work anyway).... wish i could make this work, i'd love to be part of it!
@@gailholotuk7101 I'm getting mixed results on my Google searches. It looks like I might be good for 6 months without one. Definitely looking into it more!
Generally, if you are coming for a visit, you don’t need to worry about a work visa, especially if you do not work with an American owned business. If you work for a Canadian business and just want to do your normal Canadian job, you should be able to, without a visa, cause people from all over the world travel places for vacation and do work while on vacation. I think you’d only run into an issue if someone wanted to hire you to do a job in America and you are not American. I’m not sure that’s what Brent was looking for, but it may be. If you just came for vacation to stay at Cerro Gordo and just did some work to help him, there shouldn’t be an issue. It’s very nice that you’d like to help him.
@@jmfong76 the fun twist is that my company actually is American. Lol. I'm looking into it but it likely won't come together and he might find someone else better suited. I'm excited for the mine mapping project no matter who does it! 🙂
Small correction, Budweiser is named after a town called Ceske Budejovice (in German, Budweis) which is not situated in Bavaria but in South Bohemia (Czech Republic). The original Czech beer from "Budejovicky Budvar" (in English, Budweiser Budvar) is still popular, and there have been trademark disputes with US Budweiser, which is now sold mostly as "Bud" in the EU. Amazing find, and Happy New Year!!
You're right. I was in once visiting Ceske Budejovice, which is around 150km from my hometown Vienna in Austria and can remember very well visiting the big pub whre you can drink the original Budweiser. Fantastic beer, which is here in Vienna also available in a couple of pubs and restaurants as fresh draftbeer. What did amaze me most, was that in the czech republic still people would come to a pub, carrying a milk can and they would carry it filled with fresh draftbeer directly home to their families. I think, that's why they are drinking the greatest amount of beer/year in the world as far as I know.
Your time at Cerro Gordo has not only changed your life, but it has, challenged, encouraged, influenced, and given hope to literally thousands of folks who watch these videos. Great vision Brent
"Each year that passes... is somehow easier and harder at the same time". So well said. Resonates and is applicable to all of life. Brought a tear to my eye.
Please be safe exploring the tunnels, you should always have a buddy. You’re the only person who will ever love this place the way you do, we don’t want nothing happening to you!
Nearly 3 years now. I remember stumbling on the first video you ever made only a few hours after it posted - the algorithm gods were kind to me. Haven't missed a single upload since. If I ever get enough money to fly and holiday over from Australia I'd love to come and visit and give a hand for a day or two!
Man, you're such an inspirational figure. Every time you get knocked down you come back stronger and smarter. You've got one eye focused on the future and the other clearly fixed on the past. I've been following you since the beginning and what a wonderful journey you're taking us all on. Can't wait to see how 23 starts to shape up. Be safe and healthy. Happy New Year.
It’s this sort of dedication and lust for adventure that led to these very mines and huts being created in the first place. Astonishing to think that this entrepreneurial spirit lives on in this place more than a century later
Hi Brent, I dont know if you’ll see this. But today I just thought: how nice would it be, if you would have your own podcast, where in you would invite guests that are somehow related to the town or are part of your team or just friends and family. And then you would just talk with them about their thoughts about the town, the memories you share with them and so and so on. While drinking a nice beer or a tea in the winter, sitting in the gordon house and I could somehow imagine, even though I don’t know you, that you would have soo much fun doing it and it would give us much more detail about the people behind cerro gordo. I think we would all love to hear more about them too and it gives them a platform. Best greetings from Germany and sorry about the bad grammar. :)
This is a wonderful idea. Also, your grammar is almost perfect! Had you not said it I never would have guessed you were from Germany. Greetings from Arizona!
3 years! Wow i remember the video of you driving up the snowy rd in your 2wd truck. While i havent caught every episode i appreciate the time and effort you put into not only the town but into documenting and sharing with us!
I love this channel! I'm so glad I've found it. I've already told my wife we will be staying in your hotel, hell I want to retire and volunteer to help you!
Didn't expect to hear about the Czech Republic in a Ghost Town Living video, lmao. But it's true, when it comes to beer, we are number one. Greetings from Prague while drinking amazing Czech beer (Svijany). Happy new year!
Videos like this is why we all follow your dream , beautifully put together, we can feel your passion, taste your tears , float in the mountains around you , one day you might need to retimber a mine to save it for the next 100 years as move are lost to collapse Never made it to cerro gardo in-fact I live 1000s of mile away in England but it feel special, happy new year to all of you
As someone who has done mapping with a laser scanner, a leica-esque laser scanner may be a bit overkill, but, there are a few things to make what you're doing more of an official "definitive" scan of the mine. -Edit: I made a really well thought out post, giving tips and tricks.. lol.. and it truncated everything. I'll summarize - Put up individually numbered and measured targets, cut the entire job into small overlapping (minimum 3 overlapping targets). Small handheld scanners have a habit of truncating walls that it thinks are the same. Light up the mine as best you can. Get the main shaft done first. Use a drone for that If possible) make sure that at least 2 targets link back to the main shaft from each floor. Get lots of hard drives. When deciding what hardware/software you want to use, look for ones that drop to common formats, not proprietary. Get it to go all the way up the main shaft to the building. If you have any questions, reach out to me and I'll answer any questions I can.
ill always support this beautiful channel you created. Been her from the start and you’ve progressed a ton. what a journey. Also, YOU helped me sorta distance myself and learn how to socialize with myself. From parting a ton to loving to do thing by myself and more . Thank you!!
Congratulations Brent on your endeavors, & your sticking it out when many would have bailed long ago! We hope that we can visit you in your NEW HOME someday soon & offer our support! Until then we will continue to support you as we can financially, like by the purchase of the Silver Topographical Pendant Of Cerro Gordo we purchased & are proud to own! Love It & Your Diligence! Peace Be With You Me Friend & Happy New Year Mate!
Every time I see a new video from ghost town living my mood completely flips. Been feeling down lately and I seen this new vid rn and I got a strong feeling of joy. All love Brent, your videos and work is amazing. Can’t wait till the hotel is up and running to come visit. Stay up Stay safe 🙏🏻
I love how you've been there for 3 years completely immersed in it and you just know learned of essentially a second smaller subtown and mining operation. This just goes to show the complexity of history and the eroding of our knowledge of the past that comes with time. This is why you do what you do! To rediscover and preserve what has been lost. And to bring the lives of the people who built Cerro Gordo back into the annals of history to not be forgotten. Thank you!
They say that you die twice, the first time is when you die physically and your second death is the last time a person says your name or remembers you. By re-living the lives of these people from the past and documenting their perspective, these people that have probably been forgotten a long time ago and then re-discovered by you. In a way, you're bringing them back to life and i think its kind of beautiful.
It's crazy to think it's been three years!!! It seems like just yesterday you were traversing the main road and got stuck in the snow with your little truck, and had to walk the rest of the way up. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you! I hope to one day make it up there!
@@GhostTownLiving *Taliesen West, the Frank Lloyd Wright architectural school in Scottsdale AZ tasks final year students with design of a small (if not tiny) home that is actually constructed on site, and then dismantled at end of year. Many international students, etc face prohibitive shipping costs etc and these projects show up in local landfills or for scrap. You should buy a few senior projects, ship them to the base of the mountain, put them on an aluminum lifting platform, and blackhawk them up to the top of the mountain. Instant $300 a night AirBnB and maybe each home has a gofundme link for the original architect to get some recurring income or business referrals, who knows?*
My wish for this fascinating town is that 2023 is kind to the town, its inhabitants, its visitors and the helpers, and especially to Brent, his dreams and plans.
Brent, Great Video......Looks way to cold for this Texas Boy.......The or your Scenery, is just breath taking........Thank you for your heard work................JB...........
OMG!!! A surprise Cerro Gordo video on New Year's eve? AWESOME! So much accomplished this year and I can't wait to see the town blossom in the new year. Seems like you are finding the balance that you need going into the 3rd year. Lots of ups and downs, however I want to congratulate you on the progress that you have made. 👏And I want to commend you on your perseverance and your work ethic to keep going on.. It encourages me to keep fighting for what I want in my life, and you have inspired me in more ways than one. So Happy New Year Brent!!! May 2023 bring all your dreams and bring all your goals to fruition. Thank you for your amazing videos. I can't wait for the next adventure!
Wonderful that you've been able to restore or add history to Cerro Gordo, our family has a long history in Nevada of hard rock mining, and even have 2 ghost towns that were once thriving mining camps that were named after my ancestors. I was taught mine exploration at a young age by my grandfather, a Tonopah and Goldfield miner, and while not taking them inside the mines themselves, I've been able to share the ghost town experience by camping and exploring sites. Your actions, are a small part of my dreams to keep early American history alive in the west, and I love the work you're doing. As we explore the hundreds of ghost towns this summer, we'll keep your continuing adventure of Cerro Gordo in our hearts...
Throughout your mission you are providing other people opportunities to enrich their life experiences in ways they never encountered before. You have changed the lives of your viewers. Happy New Year!!!
I hope this guy is taking care of himself. You go back to his first video, he's a skinny guy, yeah, but, he had a little thickness in his hands, neck and face. he looks like he's lost about 10-15 pounds in this video and when you're already a skinny dude ... Please stay healthy guy. You're an inspiration.
Your passion and authenticity shines in your videos! I can see Cerro Gordo being a retreat for people wanting to unplug, people who LOVE history and for artists who want to be inspired! The wild horses, the old growth wood, the mountains, the sunrises and sunsets and everything in between …. What an absolute dream! Thank you for sharing your journey and for being an inspiration!
I have been watching this channel since it began. I believe you have become a huge inspiration in at least 1.57 million people on this planet and maybe more. It has inspired me.
Brent, its so nice to caught up on what's been going on up on the mountain. I think we all got spoiled with all the videos that were dropped the first couple years but that takes a lot of time so just keep doing what your doing and good luck in 2023. Happy new year. Oh and good to see the helmet while on the cycle. The hospital is a long long ways away 👍
Brad, your a unusual person. I have wondered what it would be like to live in a ghost town whilst driving past one, but you not only decided to give it a try , but your making it work. My hat is off to you . Your resourcefulness and ability to overcome difficulty are awesome. I believe your a dreamer that knows how to turn his dreams to reality.
Wow. Been super busy with life lately so I haven’t been watching but when you talked about giving that speech in the campsite you setup the first day. I remembered that. It’s crazy seeing how much progress you made Brent. Your doing awesome man Ima spend the next few hours catching up on videos in a binge watch but glad to see 3 years later your still the same Brent. Jumping those hurdles and chasing that never ending finish line.
Amazing progress over the last three years or so! It's been a joy to follow you and I'm so appreciative that you have shared this journey with us. When you finish 3D mapping the mines, it would be so cool if they were added to Google Maps! Through it, folks with a VR system could experience going through the mines, too! It would be an amazing opportunity to share these adventures with the world in a new way. Cheers to a productive 2023 at Cerro Gordo !
"the difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer" - US Army Corps of engineers you took on a task, that in the beginning looked impossible, and it seemed at first like it would be this massive challenge that you might never fully conquer, you looked adversity in the face, you laughed, and you pushed and persevered, congratulations on your successes thus far brother, and hopefully many more in the future as things fall into place for you, stay safe
A tip if you want to save all the bottles you find, you could always make a bottle wall in one of the cabins. A lot of ghost towns in the west had some form of them and they’re always really cool to look at!
This is probably one of the coolest projects I've seen to date. one day when I have kids and we visit Cerro Gordo I'll be able to tell them that I remember the day when the first ghost town video came onto my youtube feed. lol I won't pretend that I didn't think it was a weird idea but you've really made it something else. Something inspirational.
Use to dig old soda bottles out of privy's with my dad in 60's and 70's he cleaned them with denture tablets and bb's for bb guns. He also used plane dish soap swirling bb's around in liquid carefully so as to not break the glass. He would drain it to dry and save bb's for the next bottle.
Hi Brent. Just keep remembering one thing my brother. You are now etched into the fabric of the mountains just as much as any of the past custodians of this beautiful place. I so enjoy watching you and your honesty bring the DNA of the mining town to life. Living in Australia, I'm so far away, but, I feel I can feel the ground you walk on.
For as long as Cerro Gordo as been there in just 3 short years you have surely put your stamp on the place Brent. I hope you continue to find the success and happiness that you have had so far.
I have been watching your videos for about a week or so & I’m definitely addicted to them. I love your stories from the 1800’s! I love the history from that era & when i watch your videos it makes me think of Little House on the Prairie. I still love that show today & movies of settlers in the west. I would very much like to vist Cerro Gordo maybe next summer when the hotel is finished. I’ve also wanted to visit Tombstone Arizona as well. Those places are loaded with history. Please keep up the videos & I will keep watching them.
im so glad you never stopped making content. i havnt watched much this year so now i get to go back and watch all the new videos. Ill be back here when im caught up!
Your a special person Brent. I've watched you from the start and your words always touch me to the core. This one especially brought me to tears as your last words rang so true. You somehow without any effort just deliver truth in such a way that simplifies life so much. To be honest I've missed your videos and daily eagerly look to see if you have a new one. Clearly I'm going through a bad time but as much as I'm down your beauty shines through the darkness. Please don't ever change and I forever look forward to your next heart felt vision of Cerro Gordo.
Glad to see you back. I keep watching old videos so a new video is so wonderful. Happy New Year and be careful with the coming rains. God Bless!! I am starting my new adventure as well in Monday. You are such an inspiration to face your fears and move forward. Thank you!!
Hey! I'm a geospatial professional who works with photogrammetry (the 3D scanning technology polycam utilizes). You should look into professional licensed surveyors or mapping specialists. Polycam is cool and revolutionary for consumers but at the end of the day it's an iPhone app and doesn't compare to industry level LiDAR scanners like the Leica RTC350 and a professional to process the data. You could have engineering grade digital scans of the interior of the mines. The results would be high resolution and absolutely stunning. It would be essential for serious archiving and future construction projects. You could even have them fly a LiDAR drone over the property and make a 3D digital twin of Cerro Gordo itself! Love your channel, been watching since the beginning!
Think I have watched every episode of this. Love it. The interesting history, the beautiful scenary, the evolution of the rebirth of the town. Its amazing really. Ironically Brent is sorta the Modern Day Belshaw. I think that is an interesting twist. I think it was fascinating how you just discovered that new mine addition. Just crazy how there was so much going on all over that area high in the sky. I've always been drawn to the old west and Billy the Kid days etc so watching this almost makes some of that come to life in a sense. I always wonder with all the mines there are there, is there nothing left to be mined? Seems like somewhere in the vast tunnel system there would be more opportunity to discover gold or something else. No way those old timers found everything. That aspect is intriguing. Be fun to volunteer time to help do something up there to help progress the overall project so to speak. Watching it on youtube is fun but seeing it and being in the element would be amazing. Keep up the good work and Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing how things progress in 2023
I STILL, after all this time, SO look forward to your videos, Brent. Your voice is soothing, your musings are always so insightful and your positive outlook on life is simply inspiring. AND THE VIEWS! Your camerawork/dronework and editing is just amazing! So happy new year, Brent, and heartfelt wishes for you to have a SMOOTH year :)
Well done Brent you doing a fabulous job on building up Serra Gerardo. The interest you have built in your followers is unreal. We live in Australia and spend a lot of time travelling around old Ghost towns and rate yours as one off the best in the world. Well done mate keep up the good work
It’s great to see you are still there staying on a path forward. You were dealt some bad cards but you always seem to stay in the game waiting for a better hand. Looking forward to 2023’s videos.
Man I'm loving your energy!! Your passion is contagious and refreshing. In a time where the humans seem to have gone mad, seeing younger humans(really all ages) creating positive lived, is so needed and inspiring. I hope all tye best for you and your "project"!!!
1.58M subscribers??? Insane! I've been watching since you uploaded your first Cerro Gordo video. checking in here and there, but I can't believe it's been 3 years! When that hotel gets finished, I want to come stay! Hope you plan on getting Starlink out there 🤣
As someone who has been here since the very first video in March 2020, I really love these updates, thankyou Brent and everyone who helps at Cerro Gordo 🤘🥰🤘 🦘🇦🇺🦘
Happy New Year! Small correction from a German viewer: afaik Budweiser is originally a beer variant originated from the Czech Republic, and the name is a protected regional product here in Europe. So, if you drink a Budweiser over here in Europe it’s probably a whole different beer. Anyways, congratulations on the progress made in 2022, looking forward what will happen to Cerro Gordo in 2023 🎉
@@Harri2006 Haha, honestly I'm not sure if I've ever tried american bud before (I know the stereotypes regarding it, tho), but the czecz variant is quite drinkable and tasty. Not sure if that answers your "question" ;)
Also, that Budweis city would be in Czech Republic instead of Bavaria. Many litigations were held regarding the name. Overall we take beer quality dead serious. Cheers!
Enjoyed the new video. I do t recall seeing anything about Cerro Gordo's cemetery. Is there any history of the town cemetery or was the deceased transported to another town? Might be an interesting bit of history for future video.
That is a good question. I know that the cemetery has been mentioned before, and he might have shown one of the visiting UA-camrs it, but he hasn't talked about it too much or really shown us it. Considering all the deaths that Cerro Gordo had, it would be great to see how big the cemetery is.
Loved hearing all your stories all the beautiful land cabins and history your hardest days your happiness days looking forward to your new year thank you 😊
If you want to put a recording studio in that building then the main thing and I mean MAIN thing you need is a constant. reliable power source. Don't even consider starting anything else until you have that in place.
@@MaliaWiederien With all due respect they would be terrible. A recording studio requires a clean and constant power source, neither solar nor wind provide that. The typical power consumption of a small studio is around 10x the energy consumption of a small home. There are many variables that affect this mainly the type and amount of equipment being used. The last thing you want happening is a failed recording because the desk shuts down. You can't run a professional or amateur studio like that. It's counter productive.
@@MaliaWiederien Maybe, if you have enough wattage in your panels and IF you have a large enough battery system, with a clean power unit. But what about those times when the sun doesn't shine, the panels are covered with snow, etc? Wind power is a maintenance nightmare, if you aren't aware. A backup generator will be needed. Idealistic platitudes are no substitute for a system that actually works.
The recording room itself should have no parallel surfaces, and a balance of 60% dead (absorbing) and 40% live (reflective) surfaces. The control room should be similar, I've done a few of these. Sonex foam or other is good for absorbing sound.
Power, an actual water source, roads that don't wash to nothing everytime it rains... it makes no sense to invest into that dilapidated town. This would bankrupt an individual, but because it relies on free labor and handouts, it hasn't yet. I don't know how a permit was issued to build a hotel considering there is no septic or running water... can't be grandfathered because there's nothing left of the old hotel to build on.
I want you to know I love your show. I just started watching it. You are a pioneer, and what you need is a pioneer women. I know they are hard to find but there are a few out there. One thing I really like about your show is the way you narrate it. So many youtube shows are not narrated. They are just video with no talking. You are doing a great job with Cerro Gordo!
Great Recap, Congratulations, Hope to meet you someday. I lived in Southern California for 20 years, hiked a lot in the desert. Now back Home in Oregon but would like to plan a trip!
You should totally get in contact with Tim sway from new prospective guitars. He could make some amazing guitars for the studio he specializes in instruments from repurposed wood.
Hats off for doing something with the gost town & Cerro Gordo mines and neighbohood. My uncle Ray got me interested in Metals, Mining. I am too old to join you but still great to watch on video.
Dude this one gave me chills..... so well done! I hope that the history you are making is available for my grandchildren to enjoy one day! I admire your passion and drive. Thank you for the education and entertainment Brent. God bless
Brent, for 3d mapping you need a full lighting rig that can light up the mines allowing your phone to more easily scan the images. This could be a fun activity for people that visit and can safely mine or explore - document a square of Cerra Gordo. They could even pick from a box that randomly gives them a place to explore on the property. This would be a great website that would allow you to explore the site and progress. Have really enjoyed your videos these past 3 years. Great work. Keep living the dream.
Nothing says "rural life" better than the spider making the photo appearance at 22:11 in the video. Love the content of your videos. Stay safe, and keep living a dream on the way to working hard for the dream.
You have managed to pull the soul and the romance of this old mining town out of a magicians hat and have brought it to life. The people who were a part of this amazing adventure have been brought to life in the process as well.
Thank you so much for letting us share your incredible adventure. It has inspired me to take a look at my life and perhaps take a journey too. Happy new year!
Incredible what you've done and are doing with Cerro Gordo, preservation like this is what the West needs so we don't lose all that incredible history and i'm proud of you for everything you're doing, keep it up my friend.
Your videos have been shared with homeschool group's and organizations across the entire world. Your inspiring an entire new generation we started with you. Now we're in 4th grade going to 5th next year and the children get pumped to see the updates and all that's going on... Thank you Brent for living a live school lesson in history science & math. We begin with digging up our local park that use to be a dump we found plates shoe's and of course lots glass some in tact. We've dated the glass and it's gotten my daughter interested in so many new things. It's one thing to see it in a book it's another to go do it...
Well done. So glad to hear children are learning about history through this awsome channel. Hopefully this will spark them into following their dream no matter what obstacles they encounter along the way.

Thumbs Up For Brent
hahaha, well thank you! I appreciate you checking out the videos😊
We have had our limit of social media, influencers and technology. People yearn for the time when life was not technology driven.
Then have a 3d modeler make it so you can be different creatures with each creature having a different way they can explore..
In my opinion what’s better than going into the mines with vr… is going in them in real life! I mean your already in the town may aswell.
You shouldn’t need a work visa if you are going to volunteer
@@gailholotuk7101 I'm getting mixed results on my Google searches. It looks like I might be good for 6 months without one. Definitely looking into it more!
Do it. Make it work. There's always ways to get past the general barriers put up for "just anyone"!
I think, that's why they are drinking the greatest amount of beer/year in the world as far as I know.
why does it seem that there are more ppl from Austria and Germany watching than from the US? 🤣🤣🤣
I'm from Upper Austria btw 🤙
@@RewindFPV Interesting question. I was not aware of that. Maybe there is a kind of myterious algorithm at work here 🤣

So basicly that man stole the beer. Not invented it.
Are you saying he's cross-eyed? How dare you.
Hi Brent,
I dont know if you’ll see this. But today I just thought:
how nice would it be, if you would have your own podcast, where in you would invite guests that are somehow related to the town or are part of your team or just friends and family.
That's not a bad idea.
Nice idea. Also interesting to interview other old timers who live interesting lives out there. 👍
This is a wonderful idea. Also, your grammar is almost perfect! Had you not said it I never would have guessed you were from Germany. Greetings from Arizona!
your english is better than a lot of americans! no apologies needed! I agree with the sentiment, I just imagine Brent's already pretty busy
An Audio History component is an awesome idea.
Once people are gone we can never hear the stories in their own words.

I'm so glad you went back to using the background music for The Belmont Loop - brings me back to the good ol' days of your channel 🙂

The hospital is a long long ways away 👍
i think it helps that it is winter and up there that air is cold the helmet helps keep his head warm .
Your videos man, absolutely beautiful from their historical content to the way they are shot, can't get enough and looking forward to next year!
Cheers to a productive 2023 at Cerro Gordo !

you took on a task, that in the beginning looked impossible, and it seemed at first like it would be this massive challenge that you might never fully conquer, you looked adversity in the face, you laughed, and you pushed and persevered, congratulations on your successes thus far brother, and hopefully many more in the future as things fall into place for you, stay safe

The reflections at the end of these videos never fail to put me in a fresh headspace. Thank you for the inspirational words.
Love to see a new drop that’s 12 seconds new 😹 you’ve created your own history there in 3 years!
🙌🙌 thanks!

Solar panels and wind power would be a great way to power that. Green and simple power not anything else.
