Love the bluegrass music, I'm hook in that gopher skits too, enjoy his chuckles. Todd you are an amazing landscape company. I've enjoyed your video for years and your driveway video helped me to solve the problem we had. Thanks!!
Great video. I live in Shelby N.C. and we got hit with ole Helene pretty bad. Had to go up above Lake Lure last week to measure some windows for a builder and man there was alot of trees down. You guys got hammered. I hope your beautiful family wound up ok. Fill sorry for you guys. Praying for your family. Thanks for taking me along on the video. Loved it.
I absolutely enjoyed this one. I always learn something helpful from you. And you never fail to get me laughing. When you were sharpening the mulcher teeth and you quoted John Wayne's/Rooster Cogburn "Fill your hands you sonuvab!+¢π" line, I had to pause the video until I could quit laughing. Does Bill Murray know the gopher relocated to NC ?
Im not a mulching operator at all but I was thinking you could add a piece of angle iron to the thin aluminum cover, drill holes to line up with existing holes then attach angle iron on top to shield or protect it and stiffen that up. Probably need longer bolts to add this. I hope this makes sense brother. Great to see ya in action. 👍👍
15:22 huh? How are you operating the hydraulics from outside the cab? My 306 has a safety interlock that prevents hydraulics from operating unless I am in the seat with the left armrest down.
Pretty funny we hauled in supplies to help with the hurricane damage and saw you in the Mack hauling the excavator and then later saw you in your pickup. I told my brother hey that’s awesome I watch him on UA-cam!
Striations in the metal. After you sharpen if you use the highest grit “tiger paw” or sanding disk to polish them the striations will be minimized for gathering wood fibers in them.
I can't wait for your Helene cleanup videos. You must be working 12+ hour days. We're almost 3 weeks in and you were in the epicenter. I've sent you messages through your website to offer assistance.
Something that can help when changing or swapping teeth is to grease the backside and the bolt. I've had it hang up with a little rust and that has helped. I'll be in the thickets in a week or two. Rhododendren is an absolute bear on the north facing slopes around here off Bat Cave.
There's nothing out there!!! How many times have you heard that?? I was Bushhogging on Monday and the property owner said "there shouldn't be anything out there!". I was merely going along after about an hour, boom!!! I look back and it was a set of clamp on pallet forks for a tractor!!! He was like "oh, I forgot about those!"! Needless to say, I will be sharpening and purchasing new blades this week!!

Maybe you covered it in another video, but have you tried using a battery powered Angle grinder?

Sharp teeth are easier on the machine and equipment too.
