That's quite some money you invested right there hey... and if for some reason your Chibsons goes bad and can't be used anymore you can always use those part on some other guitars. Most of the times I put EMG´s in my Gibson´s, I have quite a few Gibson Les Paul´s about six or seven of them, most of them are quite rare, except my 2014 Gibson Les Paul Custom that is quite common.. :D thanks.
Ohh I almost forgot, I have a Chibson too... a ES 355 Custom that I got for free from a person in Denmark, I had to pay shipping to Sweden though, which make a lot of sense when thinking about it.. :D I had to take away the fake copy Bigsby tremolo system and I put in a regular Gibson tail piece. I did a full gretleveling and fret dressing. That guitar is most likely one of the very first guitars to be shipped to Scandinavia as a fake logo guitar from china, I do believe that its made in 2006 or 2007 because the previous owner told me how long the man have had it before she got it, (The previous owner is a she).
Yeah, the Chibson scene is not big in scandinavia. I don’t think I’ve ever come across one. I have a ES-345 Stereo being made by Cathy and I’m really looking forward to get it. It’ll have the varitone switch and two output jacks.
@@TheworldofMattias I could have had several custom guitars made from china, but I am a guitar builder my self and will soon start building guitars again, it´s been quite some years since the last build. Also I really love Gibson Les Paul´s so I try buying one every now and then or as soon I find something a little rare modell or such. Also I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard Heritage from 1989 that needs a new neck so I will build that neck for that guitar soon I hope. That guitar have been in a couple of world tours so it have some serious dings on it, really cool with such history on a guitar, including three headstock breaks, two of them was repaired, the third break was not repairable at all, I bought the guitar cheap from a guy in Norway 1-2 years ago.
@@TheworldofMattias Yeah i had to take the neck off from the guitar, it was a little scary because it´s been 5 years since I took a neck off from a Gibson Les Paul the last time, it was a customers guitar. When it all comes around its no big deal to take of the neck from a Gibson Les Paul.. I will make some videos about the making of this new neck...
Great unboxings love that hardshell case and all that Awesome electronics! When you put your pots in any chance you can tell us the difference between the audio and linear and why it matters to go with the two different ones some guys say it doesn't matter and some say it does what's your thoughts on that subject lol".. my next video I'll be giving you the shout out i didn't forget i just forgot to in my last video Fulton Street Beats china EMG's in my SG got me to excited 😂

I bought one of the pickguards for my chibson sg from ebay sent from china. It doesn't fit. The inner part is to narrow at 46.2mm the chibson sg between pickups and pickguard it came with is 50mm. Does your pickguard fit correctly on your sg? please do an update video would like to see.
just wait until you realize the dimensions of the American Gibsons aren't the same as the cheapo Chinese knock-offs. Not only that, but you should change ALL the wiring. You'll find out why.

Yes, exactly! I figured the electronics and hardware can be used in any guitar so it’s a good investment!
