Farmers union ice coffee mate, dare is my second preference! You’ll have to come to SA, can show you round Adelaide and all the favourite places our resident welsh family loves since they have moved here 🙌🏻 Adelaide is the real Aus experience - laid back, easy going and plenty to do, and photograph, you and Emily will love it !!

Sometimes it’s nice to do a video on travelling instead of just photography.

Ryan's Belt. That's a classic! But you weren't far off and Emily was spot on, it's actually O'Ryan's Belt. Irish bloke, sells potatoes. Lost his belt. Lovely fella.

I just can’t stop grinning watching you two out on your travels - yeah, I subscribed for the photography aspects, but you’re making us all smile with everything else associated with photography and travel - all we need to do now is persuade you to organise some workshops - i can just imagine the hilarity we’d have 👍

James Popsys - yeah seriously, let’s get some ideas thrashed out ...... I mean, loads of YouTubing photographers are doing workshops these days, but clicking the book here links usually takes you to an offer to remortgage your house, or sell an organ.... but I bet there’s plenty of us who’d love to turn up for a more low brow photography workshop/meet-up, and where you’d have the joys of us joining in with your passion for sheep photography (damn that autocorrect 😜) - Mike

Hey James and Emily. As a Victorian local, I've been to pretty much all those places (including Walhalla :-) Interestingly, it was the last town in Australia to be connected to electricity. In 1998!). When I was young we went to South Gippy and Wilson's Prom pretty much every summer. It's nice to see someone else enjoy our lovely state. Next time, as someone else has mentioned, try the Famers Union Iced Coffee. It kills Dare dead. I mentioned in a comment on another of your vids that if I'd known you were here, I'd have bought you beer. One of the best Australian beers is Coopers, so good to see you had a few! Don't worry too much about the next vid, we know it will be entertaining :-)

😂😂 for someone who lives in Victoria this was quite entertaining. I like your reference to a wombat being like a bear that crawls 😂. Now you have left it’s safe to say that Wilson’s Prom is actually known to be a good place to spot snakes.. they are all over the place but maybe they didn’t come out if it was cool when you were there. Wombats are also known to break into people’s tents and steal there food 👍

Good to see Emily doing something more than standing at some distance in a landscape wearing a yellow raincoat. Did you happen to go and see the exhibition Grafters at the People’s History Museum in Salford a couple of years ago? It was on where I work at Bradford Industrial Museum where I work. It could be on again at the National Coal Mining Museum some time in the future. Anyway, it was about industry’s relationship with photography through history. At first workers were never included in photos of mills and factories, partly cos they were not deemed as important and also due to slow shutter speeds - hence them appearing as ‘ghosts’ sometimes. Then there was a period where they were photographed, but only as a unit of scale, to illustrate how big an engine or a piece of machinery was. Only later, following the Russian Revolution, did workers begin to be photographed as heroic figures. See the link? ;)

14:45 That was a Drop Bear, close cousin of the Koala. You're lucky it wasn't hungry, they make that noise when they're digesting something hefty. That Kangaroo would've been the least of your worries if that thing had turned on you.

@@JamesPopsysPhoto seriously, you're really funny.Your vlogs are well presented, the audio is clear, the music isn't too loud, and you don't start every new piece to camera with the word "so". That's rare these days, and very welcome. Keep it up!
