Go in 808s Sampler channel->right click on the audio wave->edit in audio editor (edison)->right click on the audio wave in Edison and go to regions ->detect pitch regions->at the beginning is the key of the sound

Another tip, just find acapellas or download loops for fun, fr a bunch of them, and find what beat you could be working into. You could also just ask your friends a random question what type beast they like and do one for fun. Try other type beats or genres you never tried to expand knowledge and creativity.

I feel I'm restricting myself from melodic beats because I'm afarid some of my notes are gonna be off key because I haven't really develop "the music ear" as they say out there.
