Preventing a fundraising crisis. The keys to hiring and retaining good fundraisers.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy, which is a source of news, opinion, and advice for the nonprofit and philanthropy sector recently commissioned a survey of fundraisers in the US to ask them about their job satisfaction and how staff vacancies affect their work. The research wanted to find out how the hiring crisis is changing the fundraising workforce.
The results of the study have been released and during this Tea and Buns Dr Ruth Knight chats with Rasheeda Childress and Emily Haynes about the findings and implications for the sector and fundraisers themselves. We also explore if the findings and insights are true for Australian fundraisers.
