In the heart of QUT, where ideas intertwine,

Ruth sits at ACPNS, where stars often shine.

Every month, on a calendar's chime,

She hosts "Tea and Buns," a meeting so fine.


A virtual gathering, on Zoom they all meet,

Charities and nonprofits, from seats so discreet.

From the comforts of home, or an office suite neat,

Ruth brings them together, an accomplishment sweet.


Steam rises from teacups, buns sit on a plate,

As stories and updates, each one would relate.

The screen full of faces, some early, some late,

But all in good spirit, for this date they'd not wait.
With laughter and cheer, they’d discuss and confer,

Sharing successes, and sometimes a blur.

Of challenges faced, and the solutions that were,

Ruth's "Tea and Buns" was a joyous transfer.

From topics of funding, to projects so grand,

Ruth led the conversation, with a guiding hand.

Her passion and dedication, you'd surely understand,

For she believed in their missions, across the land.


In this digital age, where distance can stun,

Ruth made sure that everyone had fun.

With "Tea and Buns," barriers were none,

Uniting hearts and minds, making everyone one.


So, here's to Ruth, and her monthly spree,

A beacon for charities, as bright as can be.

Through Zoom screens and buns, and the warmest of tea,

She weaves a tapestry of hope, for all to see.
