Great opening video at the Isle of man really enjoyed it. Watched the whole series from start to finish today on your boneville and really entertaining to see it from day one when you collected it in the van to now at the tt with all its luggage, accesories etc. Looks fantastic.
I really miss rides like this one. My Honda Hornet 600 was stolen last September and not recovered so until I can get some money together I am bikeless. So vids like this help to quell the urge. Sort of..........
Lovely vlog, just fabulous scenery, been to Keswick and walked those fells extensively, never got there on the bike from down Kent yet but on the list to do someday, there is a lovely easy walk around buttermere from the coffee shop for those less adventurous, lovely footage from the drone Nick, keep em coming
Did a ride to Seascale yesterday, Junc 36 M6 through A590 and A 595, thought of you when passing the sign to Cartmel, great ride with sea views on one side and mountains on the other, will do this ride Honister/Buttermere while this great weather keep up, ride safe on the IOM.
What a fabulous ride some really awesome views and most importantly plenty of cafe's/tearooms what more could you want apart from sunshine 😉gotta say Nick your wife must be a very tolerant lady because for me these really long regular jaunts would not go down well at all 😂glad you can do them great watch 👌👍
It’s not easy, really, I work five days a week at one day for videos and one day for family time. Cheers and thanks for tuning in. Have a great weekend Nick
Twice I've driven in the Lake District with cars that, in my opinion, were too large for the roads (they were rentals) and with my heart in my mouth I carried on. The area is beautiful! I will never regret those two trips and would consider doing it by motorcycle if possible. Thanks for the great video!!!
Done that ride many times, was up there 2 weeks ago on the Saturday and traffic was horrendous on the Windermere leg. Bonus for me is that I ride from the Yorkshire Dales to get there, stunning Lakeland scenery, thoroughly recommended.
Great video! I really consider to swap my R nine T for a T100/T120; such a relaxed and classy ride. The T120 is so crazy expensive however in The Netherlands. EUR 16.800 for a plan vanille new one which requires EUR 1000 at least to make it my own. 😵
It's been well over 15 years since I visited the lakes and even then it wasn't on the bike. Maybe at some point I'll get to go again at some point. The vistas bring back so many memories of younger times. I must admit that I was terrified following a walk from Honister Pass to see the view of Buttermere and Crummock Water from a path with a shear edge in the winter (not good for someone who suffers from vertigo). I got some great photographs of the landscape though that remind me of a great friend who always "knew the way" sadly now passed away some years ago but not due to any crazy lake walks.
From Blackpool i ride these roads every year and your video makes me appreciate the area even more thank you 1 question if i may is have you upgraded the rear shock as well as the front fork springs ? TIA Alan 1200 xc 👍
Hi Alan, many thanks 🙏 and no I have not upgraded the rear shocks, not needed to. I was going to get some Ohlins ones in black but the ones with the gas cans won’t fit with my luggage racks. So still unsure, tbh the stock are fine for what I use the bike for

Hi Martin 👋 thanks for tuning in from day one, it’s been such a pleasure so far owning it. I look forward to every ride, journey on it

BTW, those Herdwick sheep are tough old characters!
Moving up to Ulverston in September can’t wait to start riding around the area.
Great areas to ride 👍 Awesome 🙌
Me and my brother were there (on F650GS's ) the Tuesday after the first May bank holiday - were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was.
Yes not busy at all. It’s difficult to get a good weather day up there but when you do it’s spectacular 👍
Lovely looks countryside there nick never ridden up there must come up a camp and do a bit of a touring around !!!
It’s lovely 👌 worth the trip
That's pretty cool and awesome place to ride with a great bigbike brother. RIDE SAFE ALWAYS
Thanks 🙏
I did honister pass on Saturday but from Keswick through borrowdale on my bonnie.
Unbelievable road.
If the weather is right it’s great isn’t it 👍

Thanks Mike 👌 it can get busy up there in summer. Ways to get round the traffic though and better by bike. I wouldn’t recommend car in summer

Yes I’ve seen the prices there, mad really!
Great video. You couldn't have picked a better day to ride in the Lakes. Still loving the Bonnie? She sounds sweet. 😉
Hi Col, yes still loving the bonnie thanks, great weather atm

Thanks for tuning in Anthony, it’s a stunning part of the country in good weather.

Hi Nick, Great video.. many thanks. Where did you buy your gloves ? What brand are they ?
Thanks Tim, the yellow gloves are brand Fuel
@MOTOUK1 many thanks Nick. Cheers, Tim
Clearly spending too much time in the south lakes and north Lancs ? Missing out on the best of it 😉
😂
