Octane - Rise Up [Album - 2006]

Octane are a Post-Grunge/Alt-Metal band that formed in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania in the year 2000. Octane have performed with notable acts such as Disturbed, Chevelle, Judas Priest, and many more. Their old website describes them as "...a hard-hitting, pulse-pounding rock band whose sound is equal parts bludgeoning and bucolic, is driving full speed ahead to the top of the club circuit." One review of one of their live shows says "Their mix of enlightening acoustic fare sets the stage for a hard-driving display of the industry’s heaviest rock. At least three times I closed my eyes and felt the presence of Sully [Sully Erna of Godsmack] and Maynard [Maynard James Keenan of Tool]."
Rise Up was released in 2006 and was the last known release for the band with their vocalist Brian Bortnick, it is unknown if the band recorded or released anything with the new singer David Simpson or with Brian Bortnick in the future. By this point, the band claimed to have sold over 15,000 CDs and had tons of radio play.
