Ok so I am a huge KISS fan beginning with my first concert in 1975. Really, I don’t care what era, what album, make up or no, it just doesn’t matter to me. They are still KISS and I will always love them. On an intellectual level I do realize they are not the best band in the world but they will always do it for me!!
I actually remember this video 😂 my cousin had a damn video store just in his room and made me write down all of the songs, videos, etc, to keep track of them all 😂
Lol... That's a good question... Probably because KISS had been around long enough at this point, and had a large enough fan base, to survive these kind of shenanigans !!! :):):)
Still one of my least fave KISS songs ever and my blanket statement is basically the same as the comment for Let's Put the X in Sex, the other personal clunker from Smashes: my only saving grace with this video was, and still is, my beloved Eric Carr 💗 and of course he is not featured in this nearly enough to suit me! (It would have been all about him if I had it my way, but.....) I believe the chick with the orange flower on her hat and who gives the closing silhouette move is former Playboy model Teri Weigel but I may not be remembering correctly. I also seem to recall a bit of "flack" for this video as well as the X in Sex video because they were both directed by Rebecca Blake, who was primarily a noted fashion photographer and some of her most recognizable work in the music industry was from Duran Duran's Seven and the Ragged Tiger era. Back in the day, I had my bed flanked with magazine pull-outs/posters of Eric Carr on one side and John Taylor on the other (my top 2 dudes of all time to this day!!!), and the poster of John was a Rebecca Blake shot. I still have it all! And HEY...forget about You Make Me Rock Hard...make me a sandwich for crying out loud....Let's Put the X IN JAPAN!!!! 🤘😹💗
Yeah I like a majority of there songs but after lick it up. There's a lot of bad ones. At this point they just looked like everybody else. In my view they should've stuck with the make up.
I had this record on a limited edition picture disc because when it came out I was a 15 year old Kiss dork. I hated the 2 new tracks Stanley Eisen sang and probably wrote with Desmond Child or some other gay boy super hero. Even the remixes on all the old songs on that album were pure crap. I didn't even know there was a video for this sorry excuse of a pop song til about 5 years ago. I was better off not knowing too.

This song has grown on me over the years. Paul does some silly moves in this video, but it served its purpose at the time. RIP Eric Carr

How did this not wreck Pauls career like it did for Billy Squire?
