I sometimes feel really stupid for calling people my friends so easily and telling them my hopes and dreams. I found out down the line that while they were smiling in my face they were haters and jealous people.

I am in the same boat as you are. I am50 and I am a LONER. I've got absolutely zero friends, i spend my time reading , travelling and decorating my home. I rather to be alone than to be unhappy. It's a brutal world we are living in and we have to decide on who we entertained in our private circle. I certainly regret crossing path with some rather highly undesirable people. The beauty of it is that I am not lonely but get bored sometimes.

You’re technique is something I’ve been doing my entire life. I’m 40 now and it’s something that some people are naturally born with but anyone can do. I was brought up in an abusive home so my personality naturally developed this way. Whenever i got push back from my family or friends it motivated me more and more until I became so successful I literally couldn’t stomach having my energy drained by those people anymore and let then go from my life. It works i always see haters as a sign that I’m on the right path because the devil doesn’t want you successful so he’ll try and use the people around you to stop you before you’ve even begun.

All very true Daniel! I went to highschool in the states and Univ. there is very costly. I heard from God about what school to attend & he said Howard Univ. When I shared that the family hit the ceiling & tried to stage interventions to "stop" me. Well, I chose God's path for my life, they didn't know he had been speaking to me saying go to that school & after return to Africa to perform a great work in my name. People were upset but I followed through, and again after school when I left the return to Africa. It was the best decision I could've ever made because I saw everything God promised me manifest.
I'm planning on furthering my expectations to becoming a Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist or make fierce attempts to be educated in that area as well which by far will anger my parents even more.

I’m 63 and have been severely burned by EVERYONE who’s told me they “love” me, including my own parents, siblings and kids! I no longer speak to back stabbing abusive people whether they are related to me or not! I stay by myself and I love my own company. My life is a hundred times better now because I’m a LONER and I have dumped all the trash!

You are correct about the Pastor. I just realized that recently when a Pastor was praying a certain way more about scriptures rather than reality. I had an understanding to back away. I didn't want to be hindered. I backed away in perfect timing before doubts occured in my own prayer life. I've even tried to give that Pastor advice, but he didn't listen to me at all. It didn't help when he got noticed by people. I truly believe that made him where he's not as humble anymore. Then I noticed a few pastors putting unnecessary yokes upon me. It's taking time to recover from the wrong information I had learned.
So accurate and so necessary. People tend to support what they can understand. I’m the black sheep and I usually do my own thing. It’s funny how the same people that have made fun and tried to discourage me are now exact replicates of who I USED to be. Lol crazy right? Now I’m private and guarded. I throw off my plans and tell them all sorts of things and work quietly on my goals and dreams. God is gracious but people really hate when you constantly succeed and when they can’t figure out how to surpass you, they turn around and FOLLOW you to get credit and recognition. Story of my life.

All well and good to follow this guys advice, but you really need to get tough to do it. Let people know your rules. They need to respect you. If they dont like it, well, get serious, get angry if need be and do it. Worse case, push them away. Be tough to be successful.

I live by a simple code, in that, I do not let ANYONE direct my life, not my parents, siblings, wife, children, friends - no one, I do what I think is the best thing to do - no matter what anyone else thinks about it, if I'm wrong - I will learn from my own mistakes, and if I am right - then I did the right thing. I must ALWAYS be the sole and absolute master of MY own destiny, for good or ill. FREE WILL is the most important thing to me, not living to please anyone else.

Great Advice Thanks Wish I could've listened to this 20 yrs ago! The PREACHER extremely good point. I have a preacher felt like he was trying to put me "back in the box" in terms of "success advice"! He seemed convinced to advise me to get a "job"! I've had jobs"! I made a major leap in my life and have experienced great success after I walked off the job 3yrs ago and pursued my higher God purpose/calling! I thought about it, and was like how about if I were to suggest to you " oh quit ministering and go get a regular job @McDonalds"! How would he feel about that? Lol

How can you tell who the "slithering snakes" are in your life, when snakes often come in disguise. Some of this advise is very good, as long as you keep it in perspective and know your audience. Otherwise, you will become too suspicious, fearful, divisive and cynical against people who mean you no harm at all, but are only thinking futuristic, and making you mindful of the "what ifs" in life. I agree to an extent. I believe some people can be negative and have negative emotions or harbor jealousy when you are trying to better yourself, however I don't think everyone is like that. I believe some people like Dan said may come across negative when what they are really trying to do is be protective like family, friends and close associates are supposed to do. Sometimes they may project their fears and doubts that they have for themselves onto you and may not even be cognitively aware of how they are impacting you. I agree fully that you can, but most definitely should NOT share Everything you are doing with people not even close family members. I don't think you should completely X them out either. If you share with someone your plans for success and they react negatively let them know how you feel about it and give them a chance to correct that behavior, because we ALL make mistakes. If they continue to react negatively or try to persuade you to do something not beneficial for you, then it may be time to distance yourself..Just my inner thoughts....
YES...I get who do u think you are from family members. That dint stop me. I invested in something that could have life changing gains. I enjoy the dream. 💴💴💴 I did my research and self educated myself on this investment and I am in it to win it. Hello all, Daniel is telling you all truth because I have lived all of these categories within my family alone, its come from people outside my family but it's been my family as close as my wife has always tried to stop me by not supporting me, or down talking what I am trying to do, so now that I am 54 years old I dont talk with family members about what I'm doing or what my plan is because I know what I am up against, I only talk with people who I know will give me sound advice, I remember one instance when I bought a used truck and did not tell anyone until they saw me drive up in it, first thing my wife said was how come you did not tell me...lol...she should know why I did not tell her, because I knew she would try to say something negative towards my idea of buy a used truck, I paid only 1,200.00 bucks for the truck and have had it for 4 years now, so I made the right decision, I've gotten my 1200.00 bucks worth out of it already, it had 290,000 miles on it when it bought it, and has done me very well when it comes to maintaining it, so as I look back on my marriage, I can see that my wife has been a huge problem for me ever since I married her 30 years ago, oh how did I walk thru life this blinded for this amount of time, now it's time for me to go on my own and leave this all behind, she knows I'm just awaiting my time now, and i will leave soon, i simply can not stay because i know her intentions in our marriage was to keep under her control, and i can not fathom the thought of sleeping with my enemy for the rest of my entire life, there was and still so much good in me that i have never let touch and nobody else, i kept it hidden deep inside of myself for all this time, i am a lover of humanity and always will be, no matter what situations and circumstances that appear in front of me, i can not stop loving humanity, turning a negative energy into a positive is my goal...thank you❤😇🙏🏽👍🏾

Wish I could've listened to this 20 yrs ago! The PREACHER extremely good point. I have a preacher felt like he was trying to put me "back in the box" in terms of "success advice"! He seemed convinced to advise me to get a "job"! I've had jobs"! I made a major leap in my life and have experienced great success after I walked off the job 3yrs ago and pursued my higher God purpose/calling!

Otherwise, you will become too suspicious, fearful, divisive and cynical against people who mean you no harm at all, but are only thinking futuristic, and making you mindful of the "what ifs" in life. The key operatative word he uses is "some", which warns us against generalization.

Yes I agree I got used by ALOT of people married a man that controller 15 years I was like hypnotized by him had no intelligence anymore I did everything he said he led me to a person that got me out of his prison I am now who I am I make the right choices but I wasted my time with him he saw how successful I was I lost all that who I am when I married him fear doubt attachment I became a victim taught me a great lesson that people use Craft on you they tell you lies and promises and never comes to nothing but control thank you continue to do your work

What is awful is the fact that the people who are the ones that I trusted and expected only good advice. OMG! You mentioned my spouse. Sad. But I am going to be much better. Daniel, it is basically almost everyone that I trusted. Everyone you mentioned. But what really gets me is my own spouse for thirty-five years. My mind and eyes are wide open and it isn't too late for me to fulfill my own life's calling. To build my own dreams. Yes!
My family is the worst to share dreams with. They make sure to destroy it and the one dreaming and working to do more than any one else in the family and when your seeking to make more of a difference in this world than all of them together, it gets nasty. I walked away from all of them and the extremely toxic environment. Life is much better now as I am working on fulfilling my dreams!

I agree to an extent. I believe some people can be negative and have negative emotions or harbor jealousy when you are trying to better yourself, however I don't think everyone is like that. I believe some people like Dan said may come across negative when what they are really trying to do is be protective like family, friends and close associates are supposed to do. Sometimes they may project their fears and doubts that they have for themselves onto you and may not even be cognitively aware of how they are impacting you. I agree fully that you can, but most definitely should NOT share Everything you are doing with people not even close family members. I don't think you should completely X them out either. If you share with someone your plans for success and they react negatively let them know how you feel about it and give them a chance to correct that behavior, because we ALL make mistakes. If they continue to react negatively or try to persuade you to do something not beneficial for you, then it may be time to distance yourself..Just my inner thoughts....

Hello all, Daniel is telling you all truth because I have lived all of these categories within my family alone, its come from people outside my family but it's been my family as close as my wife has always tried to stop me by not supporting me, or down talking what I am trying to do, so now that I am 54 years old I dont talk with family members about what I'm doing or what my plan is because I know what I am up against, I only talk with people who I know will give me sound advice, I remember one instance when I bought a used truck and did not tell anyone until they saw me drive up in it, first thing my wife said was how come you did not tell me...lol...she should know why I did not tell her, because I knew she would try to say something negative towards my idea of buy a used truck, I paid only 1,200.00 bucks for the truck and have had it for 4 years now, so I made the right decision, I've gotten my 1200.00 bucks worth out of it already, it had 290,000 miles on it when it bought it, and has done me very well when it comes to maintaining it, so as I look back on my marriage, I can see that my wife has been a huge problem for me ever since I married her 30 years ago, oh how did I walk thru life this blinded for this amount of time, now it's time for me to go on my own and leave this all behind, she knows I'm just awaiting my time now, and i will leave soon, i simply can not stay because i know her intentions in our marriage was to keep under her control, and i can not fathom the thought of sleeping with my enemy for the rest of my entire life, there was and still so much good in me that i have never let touch and nobody else, i kept it hidden deep inside of myself for all this time, i am a lover of humanity and always will be, no matter what situations and circumstances that appear in front of me, i can not stop loving humanity, turning a negative energy into a positive is my goal...thank you❤😇🙏🏽👍🏾
