- This video shows how Britain's oldest flag maker - Flagmakers Ltd - manufactures high-quality Canadian flags in its Chesham factory.
This video shows how we make the world-famous Canadian maple leaf flag, from start to finish.

Beau drapeau j'aime beaucoup comment elle le fait
I HAVE THIS ONE
So you cut the red cloth on the outside of the applique stitch line to show the maple leaf, but can you cut the white cloth (on the other side) on the inside of the applique stich line to show the maple leaf on the other side, or would that make the join between the two fabrics too weak?
Lès fait tel en 9x18,12x24,18x36,27x54,36x72 pouces
thanks for sharing this excellent video - glad to see that some flags are still quality, unlike the cheap chinese flags out there. What fabric does Flagmakers use to make there?
Mod grade fabric one of the strongest fabric
what about the back side? wouldn't the maple leaf only show up on one side?
The red-white-red clothe were sandwiched sewn together, then trim both side of red to the maple shape.
@@eightbighillman That was not shown
good job it was awesome I need a high school football team flag made
if you think about it it's actually pretty easy to do
this lady is just dangerous with the sewing machine tho
it looks like it would be pretty hard to injure yourself tbh, and worst case scenario is a lot of pain, blood, and a small scar as a reminder
not like other trades where you can lose entire fingers, limbs, and eyesight
What fabric material is used?
WMBisme looks like woven polyester
@Roald Christopher Hernandez According to their website polyester is more commonly used in UK. nylon is popular in US.
Wait so it’s only one sided?
ใจเนี่ย
But the maple leaf is only on one side
thats what im thinking too
@@khatsladedemand211 I assume the white is trimmed in the same way as the red on the reverse. They just don't show that part on the video.
So that's how I'm flags are made 🙂
