If you do a big tournament, you should have players submit the AC Data of the mech they want to compete with. That way people can see their builds with full specs before a match to bet on who they think will win or look them up during/after a match if they're curious about what a player is doing.
the whole point of AC's is they're customizable and can be edited before each match. many players have multipul AC's they play around with with different builds so this doesn't work.

In case anyone is wondering at 26:00 onwards that big red laser comes from the Coral Rifle you can unlock doing The Analysis Arena match D-2 (delta). Its a reward for completing it. You can fire it like a normal laser rifle but its just slower and heats up faster HOWEVER you can charge it up for a blast shot which takes 3 seconds or a stream of damage if you charge it for 5 seconds. Dude I’ve played armored core since AC 2. One thing I noticed is that these players aren’t hopping and drifting nearly as much as they should. They’re mostly just straight boosting on the ground making themselves easy targets. You gotta be nimble with it man. Up down up down quick turns, don’t be an easy target.
Most of them don’t even utilize assault boost properly. And most people don’t use shield which completely neutralize mini gun dmg. You can beat the mini gun tank combo by simply flying up super high using assault boost with hovering build and shit them from above, mini gun has massive dmg drop off from far away it literally just gonna be pebble. Tanks clean move very fast horizontally but not vertically. Or move far away from the mini gun range and charge your attack and move in and out with fast moving weapons with charge attacks. For melee build you need to build tanky with a shield, get up their faces while dodging rockets and slash them up and shield up again or assault boost away. The bad mechs are the hybrid ones with melee and guns without a shield. They are useful for PVE but PvP it’s kinda of a handicap since you fall short to people that build in one direction.
yeah tank builds are pretty OP in pvp. the people trying to cope bringing up counters are full of shit. firstly, you dont get to know what youre going up against to counter. so if you go in with a build not designed to counter tanks, youre just fucked. especially on maps that limit your height or provide cover for avoiding range. and if youre a close range build, fucked regardless. and then tanks dont have to stop moving to use heavy weapons. which just breaks the balance and flow of PVP incredibly, because they can output match-ending damage with very little risk. asmongold is not playing even close to competitively, often standing literally completely still, and still destroying people in 1v1s. if that isnt example enough of how broken tank builds are, youre just disconnected from reality.

Not that it isn’t still fun, but more geographical peaks and valleys would be truly amazing. The space being so enclosed means a heavy weight will always be able to gun down a light build instantly in a DPS rush and since it’s already pretty agile as it, it can reasonably keep up with a bipedal in this much ground. If they extend boundaries or even pull fuller mission maps straight into arena this would add another dimension to the gameplay. 'This is acyually pretty good' hahaha if he was facing his own build as a *not the most OP pvp combo in the game* based character I don't think he'd be as impressed.
Double gatling guns do go hard. And the songbirds i knew was an instant classic as soon as i fired them for the first time. I prefer reverse joint but interesting to see high level tank gameplay!
Gattling guns only have like 120 range so the best way to beat it is a fast or aerial build, especially on heavy tracks. Light tracks seem better or at least harder to beat with missles.
in AC1, tanks weakness are grenades. throw it to them and boom! big damage! plus it staggers and knockbacks them. there is also a photon cannon that melts their armor. tanks are also very slow. if the arena is in a factory or something, just use a two legged machine and walk climb/run over them and they would have trouble. high flying peekabo strategy is also their weakness since they are very heavy and can't flying for too long.
Did anyone else see what was on the hover tank mech at 18:48 and the among us character at 18:45 on the enemy team? (use 0.25 playback speed to see it).

Now THIS is content.
The mech tournaments remind me of Mobile Fighter G Gundam! Waiting for Tequila Gundam to appear in the future.
Even with the baby build, PvP looks great overall. Will be interesting to see how much the meta and counters evolve as time goes on.
8:09 that's a cool looking one, aesthetically I really like this. it probably has a lot to do with the colours though. Orange and blue/grey work well together.
I'm likely going to make a Tank-Butt one, like Asmon has to start with, as i think I read that it was the more beginner friendly, bottom-part/legs?
Seeing these bipeds get slapped. Makes me wish I had found his lobby to pit my Anti Tank dual laser shoulder shotgun lance tetrapod against the McTank. Maybe because I just want to show off though.
Man, it would be great to see more of such pvp AC6 videos, cool stuff!
Seems like new players always think heavy tank builds with Gatling guns is a cheese in this game. Hahaha how cute.
... it actually is the meta though, what are you talking about, especially with songbirds
Was a great fan tourney
Just purchased this game tonight, downloading now. Always been a huge Armored Core fan, psyched to play this.
In combat, there is no Bitch style way to fight. it's just outplaying your opponent.
you are there to WIN.
I'm sorry but that first 3v3. The look on Asmons face when he finally chooses to single out the one gundam guy and kills him in under 3 seconds. That look of pure: "Find out" just MURDERED me. 🤣
'This is acyually pretty good' hahaha if he was facing his own build as a *not the most OP pvp combo in the game* based character I don't think he'd be as impressed.
This was one fun stream.. also everyone was half asleep 😂
This is the best content he has done for a long time
Yeah, I liked the parts where assmon wasn't playing and we got to see some lactose free builds. 😂
Double gatling guns do go hard. And the songbirds i knew was an instant classic as soon as i fired them for the first time. I prefer reverse joint but interesting to see high level tank gameplay!
I haven’t played this game yet but what is the counter play for a hundred seeking missiles coming from directly above you
When dodging vertical missles you need to stick to the ground and assault boost forward at the last moment.
Just moving usually mkes most of them miss especially if you're small and fast, you could also dodge
Just gotta pilot your mech better raven
I can't wait for armored core transmog competition
This is sick - full props to fighting fans
Gattling guns only have like 120 range so the best way to beat it is a fast or aerial build, especially on heavy tracks. Light tracks seem better or at least harder to beat with missles.
I bet the e sport scene for this would be insane, imagine all the fights shit would be fire
in AC1, tanks weakness are grenades. throw it to them and boom! big damage! plus it staggers and knockbacks them. there is also a photon cannon that melts their armor. tanks are also very slow. if the arena is in a factory or something, just use a two legged machine and walk climb/run over them and they would have trouble. high flying peekabo strategy is also their weakness since they are very heavy and can't flying for too long.
"Oooh dont tell me he got 2 legs..." Some guy in wheelchair
If any ufc fighters corner had half your energy.. 😂
Did anyone else see what was on the hover tank mech at 18:48 and the among us character at 18:45 on the enemy team? (use 0.25 playback speed to see it).
They need to add match making to this also.
@AnthonyCheeseborough they had to have though.. I mean they're fromsoft cmon
i love this and good to see tht assmondo really enjoying the heck outta the game
bro really got the dual miniguns and songbirds, dirty
Bro on a stream 1v1ing viewers no less. And it's ugly haha
More AC6 content please! This was fun to watch
Dominating in MechDonalds is probably the weirdest flex possible
Generator+cooling unit=energy saving for boosters, leg units, blades & laser based equips. Pro tip: ALWAYS test your AC unit BEFORE taking it ONLINE...
This is Esport material for sure.
Might try some pvp tonight, the 1v1s are where this game shines the most imo, if they mess around with pvp game modes every now and then i think pvp in this game could be really big eventually and for a long time.
If only we could get Custom Robo game like Armored Core. That would be perfection.
02:14 THE RED COMET SIEG ZEON
I'm so disappointed I missed this. I actually have builds that might've been kinda cool to show off here. Especially in a 1v1
People need to learn not to stick your hand in a roaring meat grinder expecting to out-gun it.
the best part is the potion effects. if you know you know
Last mech game I played was Amok.....waaaaaaaaay back. Might give AC6 a try looks rad.
Anyone remember zone of enders? Can we get another game of that?
so how is AS not over heating those gats and being put in cool down??
Hopefully people watching this will attempt to gain some basic AC piloting skills so you too don't get cheesed by a Tank Build. Fun video
