Great stuff, you got yourself a sub! One piece of feedback I have for overlays: it would be easier to follow the action if the villains would appear in the same order they are seated relative to the hero. Something like you would look at an online poker table. For example at 37:00 it currently goes Hero UTG+1, and then clockwise SB UTG HJ CO BTN BB. I think it'd be easier to comprehend if it would be Hero UTG+1 followed by HJ CO etc etc. Might be a bit more work when editing but it'd be nice to have.
I appreciate the extensive feedback! I agree with you I don’t love the placements, and nothing is set in stone so let me see if I can make it a little easier. Thanks for the sub!
Brother, phenomenal content. Such a compelling origin story of a profitable tournament player gives a “return of the veteran” character archetype. The overlay and animations are nice touches. Refreshing to see $1/$2 being vlogged well again. Reminds me of watching older Brad Owen and Rampage vlogs. Mark “Hungry Horse” is trying to prove he can make $100/hr playing $5/$5 and having a tough time. Can you do it playing $1/$2? Hmmm. The players are certainly weaker, but will the cards cooperate? Last week a lady at my table called every limp or single raise and saw nearly every flop. Amazed at how often she flopped two pair or better. I had to just give up a lot of AK and AQ hands to her. She also flopped quads once and won a High Hand jackpot.😅
I don’t think $100/hr is sustainable at $1/2, but I can sure try to get as close to it as possible. I’m gonna have days where I lose $50-$100/hour also, it’s just the name of the game.
I’m not a pro, but I’m at +$34.72/hour on that limit. After a small sample of 148 hours. I can guarantee you based on my record that $100/hour is not possible at $1/$2. I moved to $1/$3, but have a much smaller sample at +$18.71/hour

Still, an interesting story nonetheless. OK, you peaked my curiosity, and you got a new subscriber…good luck.
Haha, that $1.2mil was over 5 years, and that’s not profit, but total winnings, so it does not take into account what it cost to win that amount. Also, full tilt money didn’t come back for another 4-5 years.

Wait a minute, are you telling me that you had a $Million$ in winnings, and you blew through that in a few years Living at Home with your parents? Maybe instead of a job you need a money manager. Still, an interesting story nonetheless. OK, you peaked my curiosity, and you got a new subscriber…good luck.
Haha, that $1.2mil was over 5 years, and that’s not profit, but total winnings, so it does not take into account what it cost to win that amount. Also, full tilt money didn’t come back for another 4-5 years.
you missed the part where a ton of money was locked up for 4.5 years and winnings !== profit.
He also has only $3k but has a professionally edited 40 minute video from th start. 🤣🤣
@@internetposta7389 thank you for the compliment! I did not hire out the editing. It took me about 6 weeks.
@@internetposta7389 also, I’ve got $3k for poker, that’s not all I have in life.
I am really so excited to keep watching this journey. You go into great detail and its very fun to watch, plus I really like the almost narrative feel you seem to be going for, I really hope that continues. I am just waiting for the next video now lol.
Thank you!
Ok, this was by far the most impressive Episode 1 Poker Blog I've ever watched. I hope you stay mainly at cash games and See you at the table together with Mariano, rampage and so on. Wish you All the best
Thank you so much!
Man, getting here before you are big! I love how you breakdown your range construction and analysis! Please don’t stop being so technical as you grow…
Thank you for the compliment. Looking forward to providing more content in the near future! Thanks again!
I'm a casual poker watcher that doesnt have a real strong knowledge base. I really appreciate how you talk through your thoughts and it helps me learn the logic behind the plays. Great vid.
Thank you!
Great user friendly interface. Everything is clean, easy to follow along with and professional looking. Narration and hand break downs were also great. Just a great video, looking forward to more, GL
Thanks so much! Coming soon!
I really enjoyed this vlog. You go into a lot more detail than the other poker bloggers so it’s quite educational as well as entertaining. Definitely worth a sub.
Thank you!
Honestly surprised with how good the content is. Crystal clear explanation and thought process. You earned a subscriber and I would honestly pay for coaching sessions for real 🎉
Awesome, thank you!
Just started my own poker journey and it’s awesome to find your channel early! Thank you for all the great explanations. You’ve earned yourself a new sub. Looking forward to learning from a pro like you - glad I could be here from the start!

Editing was excellent, gameplay was solid, and a story was born. I'm stoked!
Triple thank you!
Subscribed! Fantastic work for your first video just from the technical standpoint--Great editing, voice over, graphics, etc. But it's your analysis and strategy that really stand out.
Much appreciated! Thank you!
The explanations on the hands played are over the top. Good luck man!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Its so refreshing to watch someone like you play. Your so good but this also just fun for you and not like an addiction your feeding. I mean it's always going to be addicting at some level, but you definitely seem very in control.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
These onscreen graphics are beautiful, makes it easy to follow the bets. Really coming out of the gate swinging with quality, excited to see more
Thank you so much! It takes some extra time but I think it’s worth it.
Loved the breakdown of the hands! I definitely learned some new insights as a recreational player. Please keep uploading more of these videos!
Thanks glad you were able to take some value away!
Welcome back! I'm glad you made this channel. I look forward to watching your journey
Thank you so much!
You got my sub solely due to: I learned more from ranges and EV from you than I've ever learned from a single guide. Good content, keep it up.
Thank you! Glad you learned something!
This might be the best poker video I’ve ever seen. Instant subscribe. I’m here for the ride.
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much!
Saw you in my recommendations and am glad I clicked to watch. I am back playing low-end cash games as an expat in the Philippines and really enjoy learning things to try and viewpoints to consider watching a more experienced player than myself.
Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot!

As a 42 year old who hasn’t played WSOP since 2011 and hasn’t played at all since 2017, very fun watch. I still follow the game via UA-cam, glad to throw you a follow. Great looking family, hope you run well.
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it!
i love how u pause and explain. I love learning while watching! Edit: Also nice editing, finally some clean neat and easy to read fonts.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed my style!
I can already tell this is going to be an amazing poker vlog series. My guess is you’re going to move up in stakes pretty quickly then start taking us around the world to different casinos. Hopefully you transition to tournaments sometime in the future. I love tournament vlogs where people give deeper analysis. Good luck with your vlog as it takes off
Thank you so much! That is one of my end goals, to play the big tournament series events, so stay tuned!!
That is so well done! Your experience and Poker skills are mindblowing. Thank you for explaining your complete thoughtprocess everytime. I learned a lot! :)
The video production is top notch too! I enjoyed your content very much and looking forward to more!
Cheers!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Must be one of the best episode 1s I've ever seen for a poker vlog.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Nice after such a long break. I „retired“ in 2019 and I am also thinking about my comeback. You give me hope. Wish you all the best - I am a new fan

Fire video! Just found your channel, and it's my new favorite. Love the math, the simple way you explain, your strat, your editing. keep it up!

This is exciting to watch brothers vlogs. 🎉 Grats on coming out of retirement!
Thank you!
New subscriber here. Wow! You got a lot of traction on here FAST! Congratz! 7.7k subs with only one video on your channel! The content was pretty good here. That A10 analysis was a breath of fresh air. Keep'em coming!
Thank you!!
Good luck! I am living vicariously through you. I find this goal and endeavor exciting at this low stakes table! I am looking forward to seeing more videos and great analysis. Let’s go!
Thank you!! I will do my best! Let’s go!!!!!
One of my new favourite poker channels on UA-cam
Thanks so much!
This vid feels like content from 10 years ago(in a good way). This is the type of stuff I grew up on that helped me become a better player.
I would love to watch this journey... hope to see more soon... and hope you make it to the big leagues soon. because it really feels like you have it in you
Thank you, UA-cam algorithm, for recommending this channel so early on.
Can't wait to see the efficacy of old-timer play on current high variance tournament and solver cash games.
Thank you for checking it out!! We’ll see if this old dog can hack it!
Thanks for all the breakdowns. Was a great watch and easy to follow when looking away!
@@vincenthill3410 thank you!
Really enjoyed the content of this vid, I have been playing for over 20 years & always have those tricky decisions when you miss the flop & try to navigate your way around this. Looking forward to watching more
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Just lucked into ur feed brother!!! Really well done !!! Content was excellent as was the editing!! Instantly subbed and really appreciated the advanced breakdown of the A-10 off hand. Also refreshing to hear you explain that your not totally comfortable with 450 bbs yet and also about why you didn’t go down the rabbit hole with the A-Q at the end. Great job and hope to enjoy more of your content very soon!!!
Thank you so much for the compliments and feedback!
I loved the analysis of each hand. Editing was great. Very clean. Very excited to follow along.
P.S. On hands sometimes in other videos. There'll be timestamps of when the hand occurs. It's kind of nice to see. Just to see how many hands in between it takes to get to the next. Kind of to see how many playable hands you get. Definitely not required to do. But definitely appreciated.
Thank you! I will see if I can add that!
Love the content !!
I'm from Melbourne Australia and after covid the only casino here made the table minimum 2-4 and buy ins upto $500 so seeing a vlogger in the smaller stakes is so nice !
Thank you! Glad you’re here!
What an amazing backstory and channel to pop up out of nowhere! Can’t wait to follow you along your journey!
Thank you so much!!
Best poker content in a long time. Thankyou👌👌👌👌
Thank you so much!
dude this is awesome you actually narrate well and give good rationale per hand keep it up!
Thank you!
This gonna be wild and such a difference between these two and I haven't seen a full second of his video so far but just looking at him....
