- This weekend was action packed with baseball card shows and @4CollectorsForCollectors Hobbypalooza!
I worked behind the scenes during the night to help assist the hosts for the later hours. John from @3D80sKid deserves a lot of credit for really pulling the strings to get this in order. Theo of @ClementeCollector and I helped give John breaks throughout the day.
@mookiechillson and I went to a baseball card show in New Jersey on Sunday. Saw some stuff. He made some nice pickups that I'm sure he'll show on his channel.
My purchasing of cards has stifled a bit. I'm pretty picky with what I want to add to my collection, so I'm really excited that The National is only a month away. It's going to be a lot of fun hanging out with all the content creators and showing off some cards to one another.

Yeah man. Solid as they come!

Thanks Peter!

Thank you Orlando.
Looks like a great show and love seeing those photos again Sammy!!
Thanks Dave. I always enjoy going to shows! You never know what you’ll find
Nice show footage, some cool autographs you shared here!
Definitely man. So much fun stuff
Love the videos.. Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
Awesome man! I've been wanting to come to Toronto to catch a Blue Jays game. My goal is to hopefully get one of those hotel rooms attached to the stadium and watch from the room.
Awesome Mays and Leonard autographed photos, Sammy. You should definitely get those framed. Cheers!
Thanks man. I’ll definitely get around to doing that
Great shots of the show Sammy! Getting me excited for the National. Definitely frame the Mays auto, thanks for the shout out!
I'll get around to it at some point. Looking forward to it. Less than a month!
Hi Sammy. Great footage as always. Awesome job by all this past weekend, thanks for everyone's hard work for this community. Talk soon pal.
Enjoy the footage and recap as always Sammy!
Thanks man
Those autographs are beautiful. As long as they mean something to you, the damage from years of storage doesn't matter.
I appreciate that Michael. Great way to look at it. They remind me of my time as a kid in the early 90s going to the County Center Baseball Card Shows.
Man Sammy I have to say compared to other tables, your cards were priced very very reasonable. Im going to email you about a card I saw on your table there. Thanks for sharing.
Great footage again! It did appear that my vintage cards were not selling as well as usual. Focus is on new cards and Pokemon. Still enough sales to make it worth the 4 hour drive, and a few great pickups.
Thanks Scott. I think it all depends on a lot of things. I'm not one to break down trends, but I think it wouldn't hurt for me to start taking notice as someone that sets up at shows.
Thanks for showing the tables always and I want to say thank you for having prices clearly shown. I use your videos for “market research “ for the National and I have a very small hopeful list of 5 cards. One of the tables you showed had one of the cards on my list but no price. Not the end of the world but I do like seeing show asking prices versus VCP to gauge where cards might be in Cleveland.
Some dealers are like that. I think that prices on cards makes it more likely to make a deal.
Thanks for sharing, Sammy. @2:57 Vintage basketball. @3:21. Cool photos. Joe D. And Marilyn Monroe. @4:00 This is one of the things my local card show doesn't have much of. Pre-War baseball. I mostly focus on vintage and some modern, but it would be awesome to see. There was a I think Goudey Babe Ruth card at one of the shows though, however I only have so many blank checks. @6:45 That Doc Gooden on card auto would be a good pick up for Mookie. Though he's wearing, the wrong uniform. 😏
Chuck, the dealer, has a lot of unique items. I just wish his display cases were a little more organized to make it easier to navigate.
Just snagged that '59 Willie myself. Glad to see my price was right on par with the going rates in Dirty Jerz.
Fantastic!
Great show Sammy!! Will you be at the national? I just found out that I’ll be able to go. That Seaver scratch off is from 1970
Shoot, saw some great prices…saw a 75 Topps Jim Rice sgc 6 for $25! Need to upgrade mine….cant wait to see ya in a month buddy
Less than a month friend
I do love the '75's. Great design.
Will you be setting up at the National? You had a lot of raw cards that I would love to look over.
I won’t be set up. However, I may be able to bring some stuff with me.
@@SammyThunder great!!! Hopefully I’ll be able to see you and we can talk
were their any topps baseball cards at that show?
TONS!
Is that graded Kaline in your case still available?
Yup. It’s still available
