It's always been his MO. If you think about it, making a play involves the speed and decision making of the QB, how much time the line gives him, and then the receiver. Making the line better through coaching and scheme is a much more cost effective way to improve than getting a top tier receiver. I think it also helps with turnovers.

Love everything about the chargers that’s why I predicted in preseason. They would be 11 and six and go to the playoffs! I predicted Herbert was going to be the Rose Bowl MVP and lead the ducks to a victory and wanted the dolphins to draft him, but they made a Hindenburg mistake and I’m loving watching them pay dearly for it.
