In my opinion I think Gleaners are about the pick of the bunch, good simple reliable compact machines. You guys are good farmers and know your requirements and I'm sure you will make a balanced decision.
Cheeky move doing the unveil on Christmas morning. That's the gift that keeps on giving to us viewers in UA-cam land. I feel like a kid again and can't wait til then.😂
Not surprised you're making this move after the test runs this fall. Gotta think one larger unit instead of the two is going to be a plus for your operation. My bet is you're going with the Claas unit.
@@nickh9632it could always be a used machine. My old boss got several 22, along with a couple new 23’s this year when he went from deere to claas. 6.5 mph picking 16 rows of irrigated corn speaks volumes. I don’t think Agco can match that, even with an ideal.
@@TheRealJesseStoltzfusI think its funny how most of the youtubers that demo a claas dont have a clue how much they can actually handle and not loose grain. They will run fast and not loose a kernel
That’s the combine and head brands I prefer. We still have an old 1440 that runs and operates (when batteries get put in it) as a back up machine because dumb sh*t happens and it’s paid off lol
@@ni1469 we’ve been red combines for years. Had a 7120 and a 7230 for several years, sold both and moved to an 8250 this year. Not a bad machine but wished we’d of went to a 9250. Currently use a Macdon Draper and have no complaints but I bet we’ll go geringhoff if we upgrade. Have a Geringhoff 18r 20” and love it. Demo’d an 8600 claas this fall and they are some very impressive machines. Would probably have one of price wasn’t 3/4 of a mill.
Claas with tracks. Would love to see a New Holland. I run an older tr machine myself however y’all seem to be more happy with Claas combine over the years.
I hope its the Claas, you guys bought. I figured you'd go for the macdon, but maybe a Geringhoff instead? Corn head too? But with the amount of times this that you havent ran two combines for different reasons, i think one combine is the way to go. You'll be slower in beans, but maybe you can get more tillage, fertillizing and winter wheat plating done, earlier.
The clue at the end leaves it pretty wide open, as you have probably demoed every brand over the years. If I were buying a new piece of equipment, I am purchasing the one that has a dealer relatively close by, and that provides good service. Some dealer's seem to think farming is a 9-5 job during the week and close at noon on Saturday. And we know that equipment will break down at 12:01 on Saturday.
We'll all be up early Xmas morning supper early waiting for you big Reveal video it will be like opening another Christmas gift LOL. 😂 Wishing ya'll the best.....
There is a few new and 1 year old Macdon units that come up for sale. Few and far between and you need to be really on the ball to get one. Save it on your internet searches and hope for the best.
@BriansFarmingVideos the 9t is a beast. It's a 23 model so there's been growing pains. No steering wheel is a bit of a learning experience. And the fendt has an awesome warranty package. The New Holland is a great machine. But it's a bit older than the 9t. But to compare machines. I'm very Impressed with the fendt.
I know Grandpa Bob likes the Claas. What grandpa wants, grandpa gets! My favorite header to watch is a Honeybee. Zach Johnson has one. It literally does float like a butterfly & cuts like a honeybee.😂 I think they’re amazing BUT Ohio is much different then Minnesota. I’m guessing you’re going with a folding Claas corn header & flexible MacDon bean head with a Crary windsystem.
Im going with Lexion 8700 just for simple fact dad and Brian really loved them as far as BJ he got a new Fendt and new wagon plus hes going for sulfur disc cause he does tillage
Stream line your operation with the one combine would make sense, a big change but will work , Brian liked the Claas however I think there will be an Ideal/Fendt .
I’m going with a Fendt combine, if they were going with Claas surely they would keep the Claas headers to keep costs down, it’s a wait n see and roll on Xmas day 👍👍👍
Used/ex-demo 8600-TT. The key here is the dealer support and that basically seems to be Ohio Ag. They support Claas, Fendt and Gleaner. They have a near new 8600 on the books. If it was not for the above I’d have said a similar New Holland CR9.90. Both are excellent machines
Well I believe Fendt, New Holland, and Claas have been demoed. You were really impressed with the Revelation CR 8.90, but you guys really loved the Lexion 8700. My money is on the Lexion 8700.
No matter what you get someone that probably has never operated a combine is going to say you you bought the right brand . But I definitely be watching with my new underwear socks and some beef jerky . And some Basspro gift cards .
Big decisions and very exciting. You must have come up with a decent price for a new one or Dad would not do it. Looking forward to the big reveal. Merry Christmas to you guys!
I don’t know but I seem to recall how impressed they were with the speed of that big New Holland and how it generally operated. That’s where I’m putting my money.
My initial guess is a machine that was one of the hidden demo's, brand guess is that it is not Deere, Case, Massey. Brand of the head kinda gives this away because in general deere combine=deer header, and you talk about pricing a new MacDon draper, this might also suggest that you wouldn't be looking at a Claas head but that could be due to cost also. my guess on header will be a Geringhoff for corn, draper could still be up in the air depending on what's available,
I'm telling you if it ain't a New Holland I stayed with the Gleaner because the Gleaner is so much easier to work on and maintain then any of them and just move up a size of combine but do what's best for ur operation
Not so sure they'd want a 16 row head, since they move on some narrow roads. Even if it folded, it'd still be 20' minimum, in width, and not able to make it up and down some of the roads they travel. And I doubt they'd want to have to take a non folding head on and off each time they need to move. You can push a lot of corn through a 12 row corn head, plus it matches up perfectly with the 24 row planter.
I believe you demoed another combine besides the Claas… you could not show a video of this combine. Not sure but, was it a New Holland? Being that you are going from 2 combines down to 1, I’m sure your going with the best, which is the Claas! Merry Christmas to all! Thanks for sharing the great video’s!
As the comment below, I'd guess your going back to the good old reliable Claas big boy.,, As a brand I don't think there is a better understanding of the technical backup (at least here in UK), mind you, that is from an ex ag tech from the 80's talking. Love the content and style of video. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all.
Not surprised to see you get rid of the gleaner.
Can’t wait to see the New Holland in the new shop! 😊👍🏻
Probably a gerhinghoff, they rock I am placing my bet on claas brain really liked it. Looking forward to the reveal more than presents
My guess is that claas you demoed. Merry Christmas (straight north of you about 100 miles btw)
Big Claas on tracks .....
Would love to see a NH CR 9.90 arrive, incredible combine.
Merry Christmas to all of you. 😊
Congrats on the new combine
In my opinion I think Gleaners are about the pick of the bunch, good simple reliable compact machines. You guys are good farmers and know your requirements and I'm sure you will make a balanced decision.
Great video Brian and Bob
Cheeky move doing the unveil on Christmas morning. That's the gift that keeps on giving to us viewers in UA-cam land. I feel like a kid again and can't wait til then.😂
I hear a Pointer Sisters song playing in the back of my brain. "I'm So Excited!"
It will be nice to have a bigger one next year
Does it have a POWER LADDER?
Not surprised you're making this move after the test runs this fall. Gotta think one larger unit instead of the two is going to be a plus for your operation. My bet is you're going with the Claas unit.
yeah I was thinking that or an IDEAL
Seriously doubt that, a few videos ago they were talking about how ridiculously expensive the new Claas’s were. They will be sticking with Agco
@@nickh9632it could always be a used machine. My old boss got several 22, along with a couple new 23’s this year when he went from deere to claas. 6.5 mph picking 16 rows of irrigated corn speaks volumes. I don’t think Agco can match that, even with an ideal.

The Claas withthe tracks
My guess would be the Claas. A corn eating son of a gun. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!!
Congrats on your new purchase and it will be nice to see the new machine in the shop .
My guess would be a new Claus combined with a gerringhoff heads. Compliments of the MPL Randy.
Great Video - happy for you all in the purchase of a new machine!
Gonna be hard to place the new Combine under the Christmas tree XD
Just need a big tree
Probably Claas but Case IH would look good on the farm as well.
Hopefully you go Geringhoff for the heads. You won’t be disappointed.

Just a shout out to say thank you for sharing your corner of the world and Merry Christmas to every one on the farm.
It’s gotta be the Claas!!!
Hoping you guys get the billion dollar Class. Its hard to find many guys on utube running them.
Yea..thanks for videos brian being x farmer...brings back memories
Sad to see the gleaner go. But I can see why you decided to sell 2 machines to have one big machine.
Thank you for videos can’t wait to see what you get
Claas with tracks. Would love to see a New Holland. I run an older tr machine myself however y’all seem to be more happy with Claas combine over the years.
looking forward to the BIG reveal...guessing Claas...but i know guys with New Holland's and they like them very much
Congratulations!! Can’t wait.
New Holland ❤
Ohhh! What will.you get?
Merry Christmas Brian! All the best to you and the family!
Please,,,, we know you went with the Claas 😎final answer!

Gotta love combine madness You will need a mega Christmas tree this year Marry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year
Great video Brian. Merry Christmas to the Brown families.. December 21 th. here
Im guessing a New Holland. Those are sweet rides.
I remember your dad had a sweet spot for the one you ran awhile back. I do pay attention you know lol
We'll all be up early Xmas morning supper early waiting for you big Reveal video it will be like opening another Christmas gift LOL. 😂 Wishing ya'll the best.....
Looking forward to seeing your future combine. Good heads are definitely the working end of today's acre-eating machines.
There is a few new and 1 year old Macdon units that come up for sale. Few and far between and you need to be really on the ball to get one. Save it on your internet searches and hope for the best.
Got to be a new Holland. Twin rotors are hard to beat!!! We traded for a new ideal fendt 9t. And we bought the new Holland back for a second combine.
How do they compare
@BriansFarmingVideos the 9t is a beast. It's a 23 model so there's been growing pains. No steering wheel is a bit of a learning experience. And the fendt has an awesome warranty package. Merry Christmas buddy thanks for all the videos
Morning and good night 👍
Thinking out off the box, the NH class 9 i quess, cause BJ drove and liked it,greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
New holland.
Can’t wait to see the new combine. Wishing the Brown family a very Merry Christmas 🎄
congratulations on the new Claus best corn machine ever!!!
Surprise. Hope you guys got a great deal. Thanks
Guess its a Claas with Geringhof head. Merry Christmas.
Im going with Lexion 8700 just for simple fact dad and Brian really loved them as far as BJ he got a new Fendt and new wagon plus hes going for sulfur disc cause he does tillage
It's gonna be exciting to see what you decided to buy for the new combine. Christmas can't come soon enough now.
Merry Christmas!
Well this is bitter sweet. We will have less Brian combine footage next fall lol
Stream line your operation with the one combine would make sense, a big change but will work , Brian liked the Claas however I think there will be an Ideal/Fendt .
Would love to see the Ideal 9!!!!!!!!!! 😍
Your new combine is the Claas Lexion 8700
I’m going with a Fendt combine, if they were going with Claas surely they would keep the Claas headers to keep costs down, it’s a wait n see and roll on Xmas day 👍👍👍
That's a good point!
but at the same time that corn head being a 2013 has a lot of acres through it at this point
Hope it isn't a Fendt, if it is, they had better have a great dealer
Used/ex-demo 8600-TT. The key here is the dealer support and that basically seems to be Ohio Ag. They support Claas, Fendt and Gleaner. They have a near new 8600 on the books. If it was not for the above I’d have said a similar New Holland CR9.90. Both are excellent machines

It’s A Claas 8700. And it’ll be a new Geringhoff heads.
I predict you will turn Amish and buy a corn binder and a thrashing machine!!
Ideal
Need to wrap it and all the accessories and then do one of those car for Xmas ads reveals.
Awesome news
Good luck selling your headers
Great video thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing all of this with us. One more reason to look forward to Christmas morning!
Class coming with a convo header and class maize header
Thanks for sharing all you guys do. Merry Christmas.
Big decisions and very exciting. You must have come up with a decent price for a new one or Dad would not do it. Looking forward to the big reveal. Merry Christmas to you guys!
Looking forward to the big reveal 😮 Not surprised with the consolidation of combines to one. Merry Christmas to your Family!

I was really hoping for the class nine Fendt but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be the new combine.
thx for sharing
I can’t wait till Christmas
I'm telling you if it ain't a New Holland I stayed with the Gleaner because the Gleaner is so much easier to work on and maintain then any of them and just move up a size of combine but do what's best for ur operation
87-88 claas. Gerringhoff corn head. And a 50’ claas Draper.
Fenet, lexeon, New Holland
My guess is a class combine with class 16 row header and a class 45' draper header.

Header going to be bright n colorfull
I'm thinking you have a Claas combine coming for Christmas.
Oooooo…. Very interested/excited to see what you decided on. Sad to see the Lexion and the Gleaner go…. But understandable 👍
Drago gt! First year with mine and is great
It's a Class who else would trade in 2 combines unless one was a class
Definitely the claas
Class
Are going to have to put up speed limit signs in your fields? Have a Merry Christmas!

gerhinghoff is my Guess on heads
New Holland
So you’re going with the big klas combine
