Attack On Titan could honestly make a really good reverse-horde co-op game. Normally it's you and 3 friends vs the world but what if it was 30-60 people with proximity chat trying to coordinate taking down a bunch of huge enemies? I don't think I've ever seen something done like that before.
I wish Insomniac games would make an Attack on Titan game. They're really good at making travesal based open-world games like the Spiderman series and even the Batman Arkham series.

There are 3 currently Attack On Titan Tribute Game (this one is old), Titan Warfare and Attack on titan freedom war, all of those are great games and all include multiplayer

You always have to watch out for crawlers behind you, and even during the fog, and there's Soldier vs shifter when doing the stages which really makes you unable to trust anyone unless you take the risk and try to insubordinate them.
That fight was around 50% fighting mini sandman goons and like 15% fighting the proper big sandman in airal combat one on one and even then a good part of it looked less involved than 99% of the human vs titan encounters in this game. The game may need improvements but that fight ain't the model. The anime would maybe do with a game that is less repetitive and maybe even somehow adapt the whole story of the manga and anime in a fun way.

Please no, spider man mechanics are pretty simplistic and have no depth, AOT games already have their own game formula and that is the one from "Attack On titan tribute game"

None of those are correct, on a AOT game you must have freedom to use your ODM and that kind of gameplay has already been achieved long ago with games like Attack On Titan Tribute game

Since you are on console the only game i can recommend you is Titan Warfare, which is basically star wars battlefronts, but its AOT, but playing it on a controller must be a difficult task
It kinda exists, you have attack on titan tribute game and attack on titan freedom war, which is more linear. There are hundreds of good aot games that arent famous out there
