Kinda feels equivalent to if some horse riders guild tried suing Ford when the Model T came out. I would consider an AI to be woefully uninformed (and, therefore, failing at its primary function) if it HASN'T read literally every book, article, and scientific paper ever published.

I agree but I believe it’s more of how an AI model would piece it together.
Humans aren’t that well read either. There is no way a human can read through literally every piece of document or article on a subject but AI somewhat can if given internet access. It’s just it lacks the human touch in piecing together information, making it easy to devour (and adding humour) which is why human writers are still better.
