I was talking time signatures with my mother, put on this, paused it after about 5 mins to play her the original soundtrack version, and she was like "put that piano one back on" (after the track ended, she liked the original too). Terminator through this music captures the inevitability of the death of the human race and all that we all belong to , the sadness of losing all that we cherish in a war that we cannot win......and yet we are called to stand up , to fight , to hold on to hope that maybe just maybe , through courage , sacrifice and the will to win- we as the survivors will one day stand , victorious yes but the celebrations will be with tears and not shouts of joy.
Even if a Terminator catches the meaning and worthness of life, it's on us to overcome our badiest properties. There are two things that distinguish humans from animals: Humans can forgive. Humans can show grace. So, I'm hopeful for our race on this planet. Let us forgive each other. And be graceful. This is the meaning of life.

You are totally right about the movies. Next to the music I prefer the first two Movies much more due the darkness. I think the follow up Movies weren't really scary or dark. Why dont you give it a shot? I started playing the piano due to this music as well:)

Looking back @ all the great movies I've watched over the years, one thing made them great... The soundtracks! Soundtracks are what made most of these movies from the terminator to superman to Beverly hills cop the list is endless and the music timeless!
This is why the new Terminators sucked. Dont care what others think but this piece of music for me creates some serious feeling. They put this in but far to little of it. Look at most sequels/reboots/remakes and ask your self what are they lacking?90% of the time the answer is the score and soundtrack.
I thought the music in t 3 and Genesis wasn't bad case in point at end of t 3 as the nukes are going up that music was really good and in Genesis I believe it's called better days it's only good for about 30 seconds still great tho

What gorgeous music!!! I loved all the terminator movies but particularly the first and second especially. My top five favorite movies in order are : #1 the lord of the rings the fellowship of the ring , #2 the lord of the rings the return of the king, #3 the terminator, #4 finding Nemo, and number five The giver with Jeff bridges and Meryl Streep- which was very well acted, had visual grace, had extraordinarily beautiful music, and most of all the most original contemplative plot/ story I have EVER seen. Trust me, if you like the terminator it’s worth watching.

I agree the terminator is absolute musical perfection and my god was the tune you would imagine being played in real life, if the movie was not a story. The theme song told most of the story along with Kyle and Sarah’s chemistry and great acting. The terminator theme has no flaws but is only just freaking barely outshined by ONLY these following movie tunes - the lord of the rings many tunes and Jurassic park - the first one’s - stellar seven and a half minute tune - just astonishing- music is a joy in life isn’t it ? juggernoud1 any tips for a person self training and only has youtube to guide me lol on how to improve my left hand and right hand in being in sync. i can play left fine then right fine but play together and its like missions impossible 4. some maybe training ways u did when u started for playing both hands together. anyone have any tips be super welcome to share

Do you mean in what key? Well this suite has a lot of key changes. But fore most the main theme is written in D minor (start of this video and the end). I hope this helps.
