Freddy Mercury of Queen, Steve Parry of Journey, Freddy Curci of Sherrif, along with many other famous artists could hit high notes like this and often sounded like women, so there is absolutely *NOTHING* wrong with singing high.
Keep doing what you're doing, mate. You've got great vocal range and many other singers do the same. Go for it.
Shit, any dude with a falsetto that impressive and a range that dynamic is pretty damn manly to me.
Hes actually not a male soprano (countertenor). His lessitura is actually close to that of a Barritone. He just has a long falsetto range and a strong head voice. its a technique used to give your falsetto the same volume and strength as your normal chest register. Many men use it to reach alto and soprano notes. its an extremely hard technique to control, but Nick Pitera has pretty much mastered it. Other singers able to perform this technique include Mitch Grassi and Micheal Jackson.

I agree, I have always had appreciation for those dudes that can sing high. I don't have a very wide vocal range myself, as I was never taught to properly sing. But I do enjoy it.
Once I sing for a few minutes, I can reach decently high (from my personal perspective) and I enjoy it. If what you are doing isn't harming anyone, there is no reason you should stop doing what they love to do, just because others don't agree

I can't believe people would actually ask him not to sing "like a girl" he has an incredible vocal range and it should be HIGHLY appreciated. Not all guys can really hit those higher octave notes, let alone drop down to those lower ones. His voice is insane and well taken care of. Anyone who thinks he shouldn't show off both sides of his voice should really screw off and perhaps get some vocal lessons themselves to see how much it takes to even get half of his capability.

There's a guy in my chorus class who can sing as high as soprano 2, but the teacher won't allow him to sing alto or soprano because he's a boy. But he struggles to hit the baritone notes, and that's where she put him. I think I should play this to her. I love this song so much btw. It's amazing!!

Sometimes, when I hear random good songs in the TV, radio, etc, I try to find them by the lyrics I catch. Usually I find them, but sometimes I don't have the opportunity to listen into the song to check if it's the correct one, so I just put it into my playlist and hope for the best.
Now, I don't remember anymore which song I tried to find originally, but this is the one that ended up in my playlist, and I gotta say that I'm not disappointed at all.
