@anna9072 oh I'm sorry. It's a show with Catherine O'Hara and she uses words like "titillating". I meant for my comment to be funny, I apologize if I upset you in any way 🤗🤗
@@lynny1979 no, I wasn’t upset, I just didn’t know what the reference meant. I’d heard of Schitt’s Creek, but having never seen it there’s no context. But “titillate” isn’t a common word these days.
I don’t think anyone ever really thinks about how much work actually goes into making content for UA-cam. The amount of times the camera was moved alone to provide us with multiple views is incredible. Let alone the amount of footage that has to be gone through and edited. Thank you for your hard work, for your viewers, the planet and those the rugs are donated to🙏🏾
Okay it was surprising how many steps we weren't aware of in shortest version.. such a huge effort you spend in cleaning and editing.. all your efforts super appreciated James.. thanks again for giving us such a chance to appreciate your channel more and more 🙌🏼💯👏🏼💓
Just so everyone knows, cleaning a rug and cleaning a carpet are two totally different animals. There are steps he can take to cleanse the rug that I can't to clean a carpet, but most the time carpets don't get this bad, those are the rugs and upholstery that require this level of cleaning. Sometimes, the carpet as a whole just needs to be replaced. I can't flip it over and scrub again. If the carpet is replaced I do scrub the floor so dirt won't "walk back up" into the new carpet. I like that he uses a vacuum to remove the extra water at the end, soap draws dirt. Good show. Keep up the good work!
You mean it's not just a 5 to 20 minute process to clean the soil caked on, maggot infested, septic coated, sludge riddled, landfill smelling, horribly stained, monstrosities that come through your work shop? Now I'm shocked! Seriously though, the amount of effort you put into your work is quite intense, and it shows a labor of love with the dedication you have with rescuing lost rugs from the scrap bin. I've also appreciated your video editing skills in keeping the perfect camera angles and quality video editing to keep the masses entertained. Keep up the amazing work James! Thank you for what you do.
You know how when you watch someone doing something and you think to yourself "I would do it this way" or "i would do this too" Iv watched probably every shorter 20min videos and this one has given me the most satisfaction because i finnaly know... you ARE doing what I would do. My favorite angle is watching the pressure washer going over the edge of the carpet. Amazing work everytime!

the short version of this was already one of my favorite videos on your channel, and finding out there’s an even longer video of that cleaning process was nothing short of a delight! 😊❤
Hey there! I usually don’t comment on UA-cam but I simply HAVE to acknowledge your efforts at really cleaning the rugs lol. So basically, I love this detailed video so much, but I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now. one thing that absolutely used to make me upset/drive me crazy was the fact that the vertical right edge of the carpets were always dirty because the squeegee never starts the right edge! I love the fact that now, once you squeegee the water & dirt out of the carpet horizontally, you make an effort to go back & squeegee the carpets right edge the vertical way! It really does help the overall tone of the carpets now and ensures the dirt gets out where you couldn’t fully squeegee the edge. So so glad you implemented doing a vertical swipe across the right carpet edge after doing the whole carpet horizontally .Very attentive. I will continue to support.
It feel so easy to just watch the video 2x speed or skip the process of cleaning whenever we want but it is a real hardwork of yours that make any dirty rug look so clean and beautiful without skipping a single process !!!! Thank you for all this captivating videos... may you be more n more successful for your hardship and dedication.

I can’t help but think there would be less steps if, after initially cleaning the pile, you didn’t roll up the rug in preparation for cleaning the back of the rug, putting the dirt from the back into the pile, and then walking along the rolled rug to push the dirt from the back of the rug deeper into the pile.
