Roaming to me is 9/10 players on some skillless willbender. Teleport onto you out of nowhere, kill you in 0.5 seconds unless u have god reflexes, and if you do they just turn into an F1 car and cross the map to safety. Roaming died with willbenders.

I remember a while back, when the necromancer's signet trait made it so signets worked in shroud, I would run a full sentinel Reaper with runes of speed... The number of times I got some deranged whispers from people who'd never run into a tank was astounding xD

The reality of roaming for me is that after getting bodied 3 times in a row I realize I don't even know how am I supposed to figh this. The second thing I realize is in order to be better I would have to practice dueling first, to learn how the different classes work. The third thing... It would take too much time and I don't have that. So I never roam again. And this pattern repeats itself every 2-3 months xd
@@LightsOut_101 the combat is complicated and takes a long time for sure, but I’ve seen plenty of players come into wvw brand new and with in 3 months are better than the avg wvw veteran by a decent margin. Dueling, watching videos and looking builds up on meta battle is always the easiest way to get into it for sure. also figuring out WHY youre not winning this duel or that fight is just as important rather than getting stuck on the fact that you lost the fight in general.
I picked up GW2 recently. Tried WvW. Got into a fight with another noob. My guardian against some thief. He lost because I just had too much sustain. Other than that I just got run over by swarming players constantly. Need to get to lvl 80 and get decent gear and will roam again.
I think everyone who watched this video was in exactly the same situation as you with the 2 willbanders and just wanted to leave the game x) btw i´m kinda surprised by your rev mate and his sustain :3

roaming is when you build an arrow cart and roam around stonemist finding the best location (repeat until siege capped)
