Ma un napoletano direbbe che questa canzone e in napoletano. When a dialect is in conflict with another dialect for not being being able to understand each other we could be very well speaking about another language and not a dialect anymore. If you insist that it is still Italian (which is nonetheless than The Tuscany dialect) then tell me if an Italian from the north can understand when a Napoletan speaks his "dialect".

Everyone has their own tastes, I love these songs, because if they are still listened to now it means that no one has forgotten them for how beautiful they are

The word dialect here is a bit of a misnomer, a term that is misleading. Neapolitan is a language just like English or Spanish or French etc, or standard Italian for that matter. It is the original language of the region as it evolved from the local form of Latin. It existed long before modern standard Italian and therefore it cannot be a dialect of it by definition :) just saying :)
Una canzone molto bella, ho capito quasi tutto, o al meno penso que l'ho capito tutto :) Ciao ciao
