    I am always amazed at your skills and knowledge in all that you have done! With all you have DIYed and figured out, you don't look stupid. I know that shed will relieve a lot of frustration and work for you during the winter.
    On a side note, it's really green there now. And that sky is such a beautiful blue!
    I feel so sorry for you guys having to suffer through that 70* heat. And I'm saying that during a 95* day with 69% humidity! ❤❤❤

    Looking good, Tony! I've been in million dollar homes that weren't built that well hahaha. Looking forward to the next one. -Dusty

    That turned out real nice. So much cheaper than buying one from those shed delivery places.

    Great to see another project video from the Mitchells. For someone who is not a carpenter that’s a pretty cool generator shed. Your helpers have great skills too. They need more than water during their breaks😅. 🇦🇺 fan.

    Nice shed. The next three should be easier and faster. Not that this wasn’t fast lol. Always enjoy watching y’all work. The homestead is really coming together nicely each is stand alone but all the gravel, wood sheds, guest facilities, etc. are well thought out and placed. Thanks for the video.

    Nice! Just need a tiny strip of trim over the door like the one over the window.... but that's a solid perfect building. You made it look easy. Just subscribed.

    Instead of a downspout pipe use a length of plastic chain instead the water will run down the chain looks good
    Easy to move aside temporarily and will break in case it gets hooked by whatever passes by will not damage trough

      I was going to suggest a chain, but the plastic sounds more applicable for your situation.

      Drill an 1 1/2 hole in trough tie a knot in chain that will hold chain in trough

    Okay, a question from a rookie. Why the 5' from the new addition? It would seem that you would want it against, or sharing a wall with, the inverter side of the addition to save on building materials and reduce walking distance in the snow.

    • @MitchellsInAlaska
      @MitchellsInAlaska  7 місяців тому

      The way the logs are on the cabin it makes it difficult and you want the vibrations away as well

    • @gaylecoffey3313
      @gaylecoffey3313 7 місяців тому

      @@MitchellsInAlaska Didn't consider the vibrations. I was thinking about attaching it to the side of your new shower room.

    Is this kind of structure something you need to add a permit for? How much does that set you back? And does it then add to the annual taxes?

    • @MitchellsInAlaska
      @MitchellsInAlaska  7 місяців тому

      No permits for anything here.
      No change in taxes because it’s not considered permanent.
      A little over 2k

    I don't know why people buy doors They're so easy to build yourself and they're twice as good because they're solid wood door
