I’m planting Zinnias for the first time ever this year and I am really looking forward to watching them grow. I’m a UA-cam gardener too. Thank you for sharing this video. It’s very helpful to me. Thanks fo teaching me something new. I hope we can learn more from each other.
Depends how many seeds come in your packet. I would count your seeds. Plant them 9 inches apart, 2 seeds together in each spot, then thin out when they come up, keeping the strongest seedling
Love the details on measuring and succession planting
I also feel the need to grow all the zinnias! Somehow I have 31 varieties going into the ground this year. No regrets haha
Ooh!!! Do tell your favorite varieties!!!

Love sunflowers and zinnias 😁 excited for your results 😊
Thanks!!! Same here! Especially all the new zinnia varieties
Love zinnias and sunflowers! I got a head start on both by starting seeds inside but on a much smaller scale🌻
I have only direct sowed mine - would love to hear how they do being started indoors!
@@SunshineFlora I have about 60 zinnias and a tray of 24 sunflowers. In the process of planting out but they look great!
Love your video. You speak so well.
Thanks Stephanie!!
Love your content
Thank you!
@@SunshineFlora pleasure
Did you build the greenhouse ?
Yes I did! Search thru my videos from last year - I have a couple videos on it
I did not catch how wide and deep that space was
Yer great how deep do they go that’s all I watched it for haha
Do sunflower and zinnia need light to sow?
Zinnias yes. Sunflowers no.
Thanks
@@annstclair4668 you’re welcome! I always direct sow these but I’m sure you can start them indoors
If I have a package and a half of zinnia seeds how many rows should I dig.

I have the same problem with wanting to plant all the varieties 😂
Hard to narrow it down!
Squirrels and chipmunks eat my sunflower seeds!
