You managed to get me into the Voices of the Void. Honestly, im glad you did. Id like to share two stories, after all, this video is one big recording of your own stories with this game. Spoilers for some events. During the flesh rain event, I looked around in bewilderment and started piling the meat to better collect it all. Then i started to pile more and more. One friend made a comment about how i was making a meat monolith. *I realized i was chosen by the meat monolith.* And so, rather than sell it all, i piled the meat into a towering and great monolith to appease it and to ward of would be foes. . . Or so i thought. When i got a signal that looked like earth, i thought nothing of it. Processed it, sold it, badabing badaboom. At night, i noticed something on my radar. . . Approaching my base... Realizing i might've forgotten to lock the door, i sprinted to the front door, and turning around the corner i saw *something* (the flesh deer), and i kid you not i screamed. For context, i played through the entirety of multiple horror games and only got a little spooked. Voices of the void scares me. You were very correct in calling this game the Coziest Horror game. The false sense of security is what gets me. Thanks for showing me this game, i hope to get more fun stories to share in the future.
There's so many little moments in this game that I couldn't find space for in my videos that I desperately want to share. It's really hard to capture the growing sense of dread this game can put in you though. Text on screen can't really put into perspective how much that blue flash scared me. I had to take a ten minute break after that. I don't know how Dr.Nose does it, but this game gets under my skin in all the right ways while also being a goofy, cozy game where I can decorate my base and paste stupid memes all over the walls. I love it.
Oh yeah, this game is great for longer lets plays and streams with less cuts. I usually only save clips that catch my attention though. I go out of my way to show off my base sometimes, but for the most part, I only save clips of the scares and the weird stuff that I notice. The next episode will definitely include some home improvement and stuff though. I love decorating the base and I wanna show off what I've done to it so far.
So I just found this out like...right now and figure I'd share: You can have Kerfur Omega the vest and badge thing from the gated hole thing, so on top of giving them a cone to wear on their head, you can also give them a vest and ID badge thing to make them look absolutely silly.
I already fitted him up. There's also apparently a bow tie and a pair of glasses somewhere to give him I've yet to find. He's gonna look so fancy by the time I'm done with him.
@@roiwiez I read on the wiki apparently the glasses are around the hole area, but I haven't gotten the time to double-check that. Edit: Ok the wiki is on that silly pack, I found it at an area between Satellite W and Stonehenge, near a green hatch.
@roiwiez truuue, at the very least you can move items between saves so if ever you want a head start in the next version that can help, some stuff won't translate over, especially whatever's been edited
The best thing is that local Pyramid Head looks like most dangerous thing in the game, but in reality it came for help. I also like orb scouts too. At first I died to them, skill Issue, yeah. But I figured why they shot me. They getting angry if you run away, instead of greeting them properly. Afterwards they will not harm you too.
And saying I'm not even capable of cleaning the entire base cuz of that Dr. Leo harrasing me for his goddamn reports and hashcodes that doesn't work. Your base is sick tho with all the decos inside!
debating whether i should download this, i love cryptids and anomalies but hate, just absolutely hate jumpscares, how much of the game is cryptids n such and how much of it is jumpscares?
There aren't that many things that jump in your face and scream like in other horror games, but with how quiet and calm the game can get, every single bump in the night can make you jump. The game is absolutely jammed packed with cryptids, aliens, and ghosts alike though. People are still finding new things every day. So I'm not sure if you should go for it. Jumpscares are few and far between, but when they hit, they hit HARD.
aight, maybe absolutely hate is an overstatment, i don't find jumpscares that fun, but sometimes all i need to play a game is its style, tbh the goldsrc look that votv has makes me want to get it. love ur vids btw

Gotta update to the new version that came out last week, massive Changes to textures and terrain aswell as some new even more Spoopy encounters
