As usual, on this trip we will include a bit of everything, some cinematic scenery mixed with our usual female van life foolery, AND a secret mission which we hope will unfold as 2023 progresses! You must try and get out to The Canary Islands, especially Tenerife. Mount Teide has lots of snow at present and the scenery in the north of the island is stunning with some great walks. Top tip. When you do hit Canada, there are lots of little islands to hop over to between Vancouver Island and main land area. Lots to see. You''ll love it.

Louise, when you come to Canada, definitely check out the gulf islands on the west coast. Absolutely gorgeous and loads of birds and wildlife to photograph. I live on Gabriola Island, and would be happy to show you around.
I would give up the sofa for better placement of desk under window. It’s your office so that’s primary and better for your mental health to be at the window. Get an oversized comfy chair instead. Love the color

Ive had 2 landrovers i love em, both have been so reliable daily starters in 15 yrs
Watched it after live here in Australia,best live vid we have watched on youtube.Big fans for a couple of years now.Sad to say but yes we have been in another state (Tasmania) for 20yrs and come back to a very untidy Sydney,so your predicition is right it not same but still some great places to go and see.
you are up there with.extreme motorhome adventures. expawers. gary and amika. andthose happy days and not forgetting campervanya. all great viewing.
We had a CO monitor and a propane/ethane gas detector in our vehicle and it quite working. We learned that they can stop working once they reach freezing temperatures. So now we bring them inside when we are not traveling in the winter or spend a night away from the vehicle.

Lou I agree with your explanation about north Scotland. We live not far from John o groats and yes it gets soooo busy in the summer. I also am a big fan of picking up rubbish. I detest seeing the rubbish at the side of the roads. Grrrr really makes me mad
Well done on a successful live. Joined a bit later than planned but had a laugh nevertheless and didn't have mobile on me so unable to share the chat. Excited for your next adventures and with the ski and rock wall practice going on, I assume many other activities will be on the cards. And Lou' defo start off by skiing...... I went straight to snowboarding and its more difficult than it looks, although you probably know this. 👍
I went to Anglesey in July this year. Absolutely NOWHERE to wild park. Unbelievably hard. I ended up driving around Anglesey all day and then coming back over to mainland. Sad really as it is a stunning place, most beautiful place Ive seen so far I think x
When you come over to Australia you will need at lest 6 mouths to see 1/2 of the country would love to see you over here stay safe and keep up the good work

Just caught up, thank you thank you, it was so great I had an eye procedure yesterday so it was great to have a long chat I could semi watch, wholly listen to! Yes please to a meet up hope it happens! Don't joke about chains on feet, the grippers you can get with coils of wire underneath (look a bit like mini chains 😉) are fantastic, used them in the Alps a lot & here a couple of weeks ago they really stop you slipping. I agree about bikes & dogs, I carry one but senior dog won't have anything to do with it, junior dog is smaller & so lazy (unless there's a biscuit in sight definitely team Emily) he will probably ride in a carrier once we're a one dog van, hopefully not just yet though. Any way thanks again, Happy New Year, looking forward to future travels 🐶 🐶

I only bought one tent ever to camp in Canada. My friends and I painted the outside with queer and women's symbols. It was definitely the most colourful tent I've ever seen and it made a BIG statement!!
I have friends who have settled in Bulgaria. Lots of summer sun, lots of winter snow and cheap living, and house prices are low. I’m sure Louise’s capable DIY skills would be very handy!
My ideal vehicle would be a unimog conversion with a hatch through to the the cab but finances are a bit tight so for the meantime I’ll have to make do with my discovery 3 and an awning on the back so I can stand up and cook and also for the other obvious reasons.
