This is literally the story of their Life series characters. Third life, somewhat enemies. Last life, partner's in crime n capitalism. Double Life, soul mates. It was always leading to this. I'm just curious how the BigB situation will play out next season. Given the BigB storyline is now out of the picture, grian made it a point to declare they were still secret soul mates. That's gotta play a part in next season (which i'm hoping is called next life, or triple life so they could be grouped n Grian, Scar, and BigB would have to stay together for some reason). And I love that even tho Grian's been emotionally cheating on Scar in Double Life, Scar knew. And he didn't say anything til he made cookies for Grian's secret soulmate. I saw a theory in another comments section that I really love. Scar sees bigb as THEIR secret soulmate, not just grian's. Hence y I think the next Life season should be group connection based.
You've got Third and Last swapped (they were partners in Third and somewhat enemies in Last except for like half a session where they were allied) but yeah, I agree it'd be interesting to see them in the same group again next season, maybe with Big B or Mumbo
bit of an old comment, but if you haven't I recommend watching Scar's POV for his thoughts on the cheating!
you just gave me an idea for the next season- they're still partnered in teams of two, like before, but everyone has a "secret soulmate" aka a third partner that they must partner up with also. It's not always the same partner as their first partner has. Paranoia and betrayal ensues... maybe it's stupid, but I thought it was a fun idea.
this is so so cute and I love how you made the watcher seem less. like assholes like theyre usually portrayed and the one at the beginning at least seemed to care idk I really liked that detail

Ngl I started crying in the first minute, even when it wasnt sad. I don’t typically comment bc Im shy but this was so beautiful and I enjoyed watching it so much. Thank you for making this. Also, the fan lore in the description is so cute, the idea that in a series of tests you grow close to the subjects of them, even if you’re technically the only one meant to survive.
