You really need a new icon to lead the surface brand, someone with passion, vision and creativity. Panos was a great figure, he got us excited and he really paved a direction.
Agreed. Microsoft should have not diverted their funds away from Surface. The man was passionate but seen the writing on the wall. Reports are that they are pivoting from Surface products which is a shame because I love my Surface Pro 8 and hope that line continues.
True... I was so hyped for the 10th year anniversary of Surface... And boom, the introduction was like "whatever, we still need something to show them, oh yeah, how about a "nice to have" upgrade?"
Not as polished as an Apple event, but I found it to be more real and genuine. I'm also thankful that I didn't get a 30 minute environmental lecture too. I love my Surface Pro 9 and my other Windows PC's and I cannot wait until the implementation of these new and exciting features. Thanks guys.
I liked all of the environmentally friendly changes Apple is committing to, but yeah.. the "mother nature" skit was strange and unfunny. They tried... but no comedy was actually created. Haha.
What a quiet audience... the leaders in a world class company were announcing breakthrough advancements and there were few to no enthusiasm at all. Don't know, it looks really anticlimactic. Not sure if the audience is entirely non technical, but many of the announcements are near to dev miracles - if one knows how much work is involved. Just amazing news. Microsoft clearly passed Google in these fields, and that is a very tall order. It's an enormous r&d achievement. Amazing work
One of the things that I admire about Microsoft is how they use animations to demonstrate their products and services. The animations are colorful and pleasant 🌈, and they make everything look and sound easy and fun 😊. I wish I could experience the world in the same way, with vibrant colors and cheerful sounds 🎵. It would make my life more enjoyable and less stressful 😌.
Helping disabled people is a wonderful thing. Such accessibility improvements are sorely needed in a world where those with disadvantages in life are often ignored. Thank you for that, all the responsible people over at Microsoft!
It would have been great to see them doing a short bit on privacy when it comes to copilot. Especially in a corporate setting clients will have a lot of questions when it comes to content requests being sent off to an API in the cloud.
@@MegaMarian12350 as someone from the EU, I don't know if I should be happy about that or not. At one hand I wouldn't mind much if I had to give a little bit of privacy, depending on what exactly I would give. But on the other hand, it has to be bad for EU to not allow it.
@@FO0TMinecraftPVP The question for corporate clients is "can I trust that requests sent to copilot don't suddenly end up in a large scale learning model" or somewhere I have no control over. A learning model is not like a search engine where you can simply delete specific content. Transparency on how requests are processed is paramount in my opinion. BTW, this is not limited to CoPilot. The same applies to Googles Bard.
that's why copilot for m365 will be only for enterprises and IT departments will be the ones that deal with all of that they have had guides and resources for this posted for quite some time to prepare accordingly
Fifteen years ago, if you had mentioned that Microsoft presentations would become more captivating than Apple's keynotes, I would have found it utterly unbelievable and chuckled heartily at the idea.
I do believe that the OpenAI product are the best right now so I am glad that Microsoft has invested on it. The biggest round of applause goes to OpenAI team, yes Microsoft had to implement the API and customise it. Great job, I can’t wait to use it. ❤
Yep, Co-pilot is getting some heat here. Can't wait to see this together in Microsoft 365, might be useful for so many songs I will make in the future.
Copilot has a deep contextual understanding of you, your job, your priorities, and your organization. It's like having someone attending all your meetings, even the ones you skipped, read all your emails, including the ones you missed, know what's in every single file and recall it all at the speed of light.' Is this what we want as our work future ? I'm sure I don't....
Really, revolutionary changes in technology. The main focus of this event was AI & newly made Copilot. Happy to see at last Microsoft added a USB-A port🤗
Creativity multiplied. Can't wait to use these new features, research content, share & empower others for the benefit of our world. Exciting stuff, when graphics, words & music combine, envisioning, while saving time, getting the message across succinctly.
@Microsoft I've seen the whole event. It was very exciting for me as always, you know I'm your big fan since I was kid. I should really like to try these new technology
I thoroughly enjoyed the event and am eagerly anticipating the future of Windows, Microsoft 365, and Copilot. The only aspect that struck me as somewhat imprudent was the comparison between the Macbook and the Surface, which appeared a bit unfair to me. It's essential to note that there is still more work needed to make Blender efficient on Apple's new platform, resulting in suboptimal performance. Microsoft's Surface is an outstanding product on its own and doesn't require such comparisons to shine-it stands strong independently.

Apple is full of hipsters so what do you expect. Theyll have tens of millions of views if they showcase a new Iphone with the only new feature being a higher price and different color.

Now that's impressive, when they introduced ai chat in edge i was expecting it to do what i ask, like change certain settings or do certain tasks, but it alway told me that it's just a chat box in edge and can't do such things, but now with co-pilot this would be possible, i can't wait, only 1 day left 🤩
I can open Spotify quicker with a click than to type out the request for AI. I don’t see people wanting to use AI in many of the use cases presented here. I’m hopeful that it will prove useful at some point down the road.
