I had concussions, articular infections, multiple bones fractured, tumors, and other health issues To this day, I would choose to cut off one of my own fingers than experiencing pulpitis The pressure, the palpitating pain, and later the absolute torturing pain that makes you feel like your skull is cracked open is, to this day, the worst pain I have ever experienced. And I experienced a LOT of pain.
Currently experiencing pulpitis. Couldn't describe my pain better. Just hoping it's reversible, although not likely since Ive lost sensitivity to cold/hot, and to be honest none of the painkillers im taking seem to have any positive effect in relieving the pain. I've been laying in bed . Just hoping it's time to sleep.
@@THETGOSHOW I've been trying the cold water press and my dentist also suggested some warm water with sea salt. Damp a cloth in the water and press it onto your cheek or area of pain.
@@priscilaminero9260 There is only 1 cure: Taking the tooth out. Go to a dentist because Ive tried to pull it myself and almost knocked out the good ones. Go to a dentist asap, seriously, if the infection gets to the bone you can lose half your jaw or even die.
Before my filling I had minimal pain. And keep in mind my filling may have been kinda deep but it didn’t reach the nerve. and now I have all the symptoms of irreversible pulpitis after my filling. Why. Was it just a bad job on there part or what. Or is it just a bad case of reversible pulpitis. Please respond

@@b.services9851 mine actually went away take ibuprofen to keep the inflammation down and try not to take to much jsut the recommended I had to take it for like 2 weeks which is longer then you should but it made mine go away it just takes awhile to heal and I hope it’ll do the same for you. I read the reason it doesn’t heal is the inflammation gets to bad and kills the nerve so if u keep it down it’ll let it heal lmk how it goes
I also experienced this for the past week! I lost my fillings few months back, it’s a a big filling in my molar. I decided to get it filled 4 weeks ago. Took an X-ray and thankfully it was only superficial parts that needed filling, the nerves and pulp was not affected. After that, it was very pain, with the pain running to my head especially in the evening and before bed time. I had a to take ibuprofen once or twice daily to manage it. I went back to my dentist and they assured me that it was normal and that what I am feeling is severe sensitivity to hot/ cold due to the big filling required and would go away within weeks. I told them that I am taking ibuprofen daily to manage the pain. Last weekend I decided to go to another dentist as it was affecting my sleep. The new dentist re-did my fillings and it’s much better. I still get minor pains. But it is manageable. She told me that she had used a milder dental filling. However, if the pain comes back like before, it maybe a dying tooth and I may need to undergo a root canal and crown procedure.
This happened with me, tooth was fine before but the dentist gave a filling and it started to hurt. Ended up having to get a root canal, endodontist said the pulp was necrotic.
I do not have cavity in my molar. The denstis said i dont have any cavity in my irreversible tooth. When the dentist opened my root canal she said i have death tooth. So it means i am irreversible. How is it possible i do not have any cavity but my root canal infected ?.. i do not want to be extracted because i dont have any molar for chewing . I want to keep it.
Hi grace Tanya so U need to have treatment for ur root canal on your molar so you need a crown tell your doctor that u need extra for ur root canal o. Ur molar. But it’s good thing is that u can keep ur molar Because that is very important for your protection

Even full blown tooth decay can be handled. But you *WANT* to see a doctor before you start feeling like someone is sawing your skull open every second of your existence

Any ways to get some relief other than cold water?
