Kyle and Shannon want chickens, maybe he can be their rooster? Maybe let them have a couple of your hens to go with him? They would be a wonderful home ❤
I was coming here to say the exact same thing. Shannon definitely wants chickens and it dont matter that she dont have chickens yet. That's how I started I was giving a rooster and then I went and bought pullets. He didn't bother them once I put them together its like he knew they were too young.
Glad to hear LeaAnn’s sister is doing well. Keeping her in my prayers. As far as Grandpa’s middle name, my first thought was Edgar. Just to let you know, a guy kept my great grandparents and family in coal the year great grandma was pregnant. They said the baby would be named after him. My grandma’s name is Edward Shirkie Carrel. They called her Eddie. She was a very strong woman!
Fairy eggs are merely a glitch in the laying process that is fairly common in backyard flocks. They’re a fraction of the size of a regular egg, and generally don’t contain a yolk - just the egg white. Fairy eggs can be as small as a marble, or as big as a ping-pong ball. This information can be found on the fresh eggs daily blog.
I have never ever been able to run two roosters together in a large, free run pen! It never works! And I've been breeding chickens for over 30 years. I'm so happy you recognized that your hens are under stress. You're doing the right thing by rehoming BS. God bless all the animals and the Doss family! ❤
Prayers that Matt is feeling better. Glad the puppers are doing good, yup they will still grow, LeAnn next year at this time Rival will be able to pull you around on a sled😂. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
It is wonderful to see Miss Lola trotting so quickly! ❤ I sympathize with the apprehension about the vet visit. At one point we had 5 adult Labs in the house, and 4 were on the same vaccination schedule. I dreaded those vet visits. We transported them to the appointments in two vehicles, and even very well-trained dogs can be a bit of a challenge when they are young, and large, and you are handling more than one. Riley and Revel did great!
Oh goodness! My grandmother (God bless her, she was an ornery one! lol) absolutely adored Lawrence Welk. She had come to spend the summer with us. Being our elder, her word was law. No matter what we wanted to watch on tv (black and white only, there was no color tv yet) grandma said “NO” if Mr Welk was on. She made us sit there and watch with her - we thought it was torture! lol. It actually doesn’t seem that long ago - I’m going to be 65 this spring. Good memories! Thanks for the memories 🎼🎼🎼Ralph and LeaAnn. Y’all stay safe, warm and have a truly blessed day!
Sending prayers to everyone who is in the face of the storm whether it's rain snow or both. Hello grandma and grandpa Doss Farm. Another great video with all your animals❤
Thank you ! I’m in Illinois and it’s sleeting here right now , and my daughter in southern Alabama is under a tornado watch, she works in Mobile and they sent her home almost two hours early because of storms 😢.
I’m in the Upper Midwest on the US/Canadian border and we are in a blizzard!🥶 I was going to comment the same thing! He could be the Shady Acres rooster. Kindly send 3-4 hens and they have a complete new flock!
On your last video with Matt you talked about men carrying hankies. My Dad did and when my Mom washed them she also ironed them. It's funny how you remember things that happened so long ago. I just wanted to let you know that because I didn't leave a comment last time. I'm happy the puppies had a good vet visit and they're healthy. God bless you all. ❤
I remember my dad and his hankies, (mom ironing them) matter of fact, when dad passed away in 2019 … I inherited his hankies and I used them all the time, sorta like a lady never leaving the house without her purse with tissues.
The pups did really well for their vet visit ! Mine always paced back n forth , I had a really hard time with him being alone didn’t help either. I think your middle name might be Eugene. I loved Lawerence Welk ♥️ I hope Matt is feeling better , there is so much going around right now . My dog weighed 106 pounds so I truly know struggling , walking .. Have a great evening and prayers for so many. Needing prayers for a former co worker, close friend who is in ICU right now 😢.
LeAnn and Ralph. Best way to control non leash dogs is to hold the handle on the leash. This keeps them from grabbing the leash and helps put their mind where it belongs. I found this to be easier with working dogs. btw Kyle and Shanon are saying they are ready for chickens. maybe the rooster can go there with a couple hens that are less sociable with the others? Ones that stay on the other cage not the coop side.
Grampa I'm gonna guess your middle name, Ernest?? I'm so glad the puppies got a clean bill of health🎊Aww gramma so sweet for you to go feed the animals for grampa that's love.Prayers and blessings to all🙏❤️
Hey I knew 2 Ferns, both gone now😢 one was very strong willed and didn't really care if feelings were hurt. The other was the sweetest, shy women I'd ever known. Once at a knitting group I took my laptop as my hands were really bad, and I was sharing my passion for genealogy. I went around the tables and if the woman wanted me to look them up I would. Ferns' turn came she shared, and right away I found her high school photo. She was thrilled. Then I found her boyfriend and future husband, and she cried. He had died 35 years prior and she said it was wonderful to see him like that again. I found a image of their Wedding License. That was the end of shyness from her. I went home and printed them all for her. I've found many odd names during my searching since 7 years of age. I'm going with Edwin for your middle name.
Doggie Anxiety, no different than people anxiety on the way to the dentist or doctor. Your PUP's picked up on your anxiety about dr. visits!! I hope you have fluffy snow instead of sleet !! Pups are looking awesome, so are the both of YOU! Ha Ha Ha, Best thing everyone made it home safely!!
Glad everyone had a good checkup. They will probably gain another 10 to 15 lbs. You asked to guess and I'm guessing Erwin. It's so funny, I'm now doing the chicken dance in the kitchen and the dog isn't sure if they should join in. Hope Matt beats the sickness. Plenty of flu going around. Stay warm and safe. Hugs from 🇨🇦
Oh Grandma & GrandPa Loving You Both You two have such a Soul & Heart for your Fur Babies. Saying Prayers for Matts Recovery.... My Grandna use to say A Shot of Whiskey in a Cup of Tea . Under Covers & sweat it out..
LeAnn, when the goats are headbutting, they are just playing (sparring). They were anatomically built with reinforcements in their heads , so even though it may sound painful, it doesn't hurt them at all.
I have a beautiful sister in law whose name is Opsie. How many have that name? I truly believe she loves it. No one that ever meets her, ever forgets her. Her personality absolutely shines from within. The o in her name, sounds like the o in mop.
So glad that the trip to the vet went well. My youngest daughter always says "I'm Hangry" when she's really hungry or starving! 😂 We had rain start about 3am here and it rained massive amounts all day. By morning it's suppose to switch over to snow. My sister lives in western Kansas and they're in full blown blizzard conditions and have been most of the day. All roads are closed and school's are cancelled. She's been without power for most of today. She put a tent up in the living room, made some candles with terracotta pots to help heat it up. We've had 50 mile hour winds most of today. I had 6-7 inches of standing water in our yard because of the snow we had Friday and Saturday. I'm not looking forward to the next storm that's coming through because it's suppose to be worse and the temperature will be getting into the negatives. Everyone stay warm and safe Much Love from our family to your family 💞
Oh Ralph your hilarious rolling around the back with the dogs. Lea Ann you take it in stride and with such patience. Isn’t it funny what we’ll do for our pets. I was surprised to hear their weights, them are some big puppies! Loved your video. ❤❤
Hello Ralph and LeaAnn Would it be possible to send BS to Kyle and Shanon’s? I know they aren’t getting chickens YET… Lola is almost skipping! Rylie and Revel probably smelled all the other doggos that go in. Leaning just a little. I tipped my head. 😂 I’m praying for Matt to get better quickly. Blessings to all and Prayers for those in need ❤🙏🏻 ~Linda
I am waiting for the snow to start here in Wisconsin, calling for up to 9 inches with 40mph winds. The love and affection you give to your animals is heart warming. Thank you for another great video. Take care and blessings always. 🤗
Hope everyone out there will be safe. Here in Wisconsin one weather channel said we should get 3-6 inches of snow and the other weather app said 6-10 inches of snow. Cant wait😊
You had a very wet, cold day to take the dogs. I am so glad everything is good with them and they were very good. They are very good sized dogs. Prayers for Matt's quick recovery. Stay warm. Blessings from Maple Grove, MN
Thanks for sharing another great video. Hope Matt feels better soon. Good idea to practice walking the dogs on a leash, please make sure the collars are on tight enough so they cannot slip out of them. This happens sometimes and especially at the vet's office when they are afraid. Have seen it in the parking lot and unfortunately one dog ran into the road and was hit by a car and was killed instantly. For your dogs to fall asleep in the exam room shows how mellow they are. Grandpa is the one stressed and your anxiety will travel down the leash, dogs pick up on this. If you are afraid of them getting car sick, maybe putting a blanket down so it won't mess up your vehicle. I think they enjoyed getting out. Thanks, God bless.
For feeding the pigs, maybe you should make a bigger cut out (like the one you step over) on the side near the food tubs so you can just drop the bowls over the side. If it’s wide enough you can drop them in a line.
I'm pretty sure I've seen every Lawrence Welk show at least four times as my Grandmother watched it every Saturday for 60 years. As a kid, I loved the bubbles, the Lennon Sisters and the accordion.😊
Ann, Pam and DJ I spent a lot of time on the weekends with my Gramma and Grandpa so it was a given that Lawrence Welk was going to be on I just loved the music, their clothes and the dancing and singing So yes I would say it was the show to watch And besides they only had 2 channels so Lawrence Welk was the bomb….
@@dj_cat_mama yes! I couldn’t think of her name for the life of me.. there was a youngman at my high school that could play the piano just like her.. loved it when he played at some of our school assemblies ..
Great video Ralph and LeaAnn. The dogs did so well in the car and really well in the vets. Went so much better than last time. Hope the cold blast isn’t too bad and the rain doesn’t last too long. No one likes that much rain. Have a great day take care and God bless🙏💕
My grandparents, grandma and grandpa King watched the Lawrence Welk show on Sunday’s and we watched wrestling on Saturday nights. We’d have popcorn and Pepsi while watching what grandpa called wrastling! 😂😂 I’m surprised that they didn’t call you RED Ralph with those initials! Your puppers are very well socialized for acting as well has they are.
Aww the puppies did do great. My Aussie starts tugging and pulling and fighting the second she realizes where we are, when the go the vet. Any other time she's everybody's sweetheart, especially at Home Depot, the employees come running to see her and of course she's over joyed because she gets loads of love and playtime. I have a prayer request, please all pray for my family (7 including my 2 year old grandson) this week, as they will be traveling out to Texas from Georgia to visit our soldier son, who just came back from Korea in October and is now slated to deploy to Latvia/Poland in May. I won't be making this trip, due to my physical condition I cannot travel that far by car. I will be flying out end of March to visit him before he leaves. Please pray for their safety both to Texas and the return trip to Georgia, as well as while they are visiting. I appreciate y'all so much. God bless!
Ralph I was just a little girl but I remember sitting at my Grandma's house at watching a ball of lightening come thru the window and roll to the dinning room at out the wall. If Grandma hadn't been sitting with me, no one would never had believed me. Old houses! Good Puppies! Big Puppies! Go Eat! God Bless
so sorry to hear that Matt is not well. Prayers that he recovers quickly🙏 Poor Ralph and worries about taking the puppies to the vet. I felt so bad for him. Leanne you did great! And saying that you will go feed the pigs alone......I know Ralph will NEVER let that happen. Blessings and love sent to you both🤗🤗🙏🙏💞💞💙💙
The little egg is from a younger chicken 'Pullet' the first few eggs from a bullet are small, ---makes sense that mother nature would arrange it that way. As the chicken grows larger so will her eggs. It's called a bullet egg. My mom called the eggs that didn't have a hard shell, but only the soft membrane around the white and yolk "fairy eggs" us kids referred to them as 'rubber eggs. These shell less eggs were fun to play with---until we squeezed to hard and ended up with a raw omelet in our hand. 🐓🐓🐔🐔. I love your beautiful chickens even the rowdy roosters. But then you know Boys will be Boys, always showing off their muscles to the girls😅. Love your videos.
Glad Rylie and Revel got a clean bill of health. Y'all had bad weather to take them in but glad they did good. Pray Matt feels better soon. Y'all stay safe and warm. GOD BLESS Y'ALL
Hi grandpa and grandma!😊 Lola really has lost weight. You can see more of her legs!☺️ I’m going to guess your middle name, Everett , Edward or Ernest. 🤗 Nobody would guess mine as I haven’t got one!😂 Love all the Doss families ❤ God bless. 👋👋
I don't have a middle name either! I'm named after both my parents so they didn't give me a middle name. But I picked Elizabeth as my confirmation name after an elderly neighbor I was fond of.
I don't have a middle name either for Mom thought 13 letters was enough and Elizabeth was the only middle name the family could agree on...too too funny
Love you both! This video was heart warming. The way you love your animals brings a smile to my face. I love mine just as much. Take care. Stay safe and warm.
Sending prayers to Matt, hope he starts feeling better soon. We don’t have any snow here yet on the East coast of Lake Michigan . The weather man says we will probably get 4-8 inches by Tuesday evening, it will be the first snow fall of 2024. God bless you and the whole Doss, stay safe and warm.
💝💖💝🙏🙏🙏 I'm 65 now and I use to watch the Lawrence Welk show each week. Praying Matt is feeling better soon. BS would be a great start for Kyle and Shannon, and we could still see him❣
LeAnn is fisty with Ralph...Love it!! Ralph getting your chicken run in with cashing BS. Lola on the Move! Looking great Sis! Good job Ralph on riding with the dogs. Your a trooper 😊❤
My Mom was born in Neosho, Missouri and her name is Fern Annebelle. She never did like her name and usually went by Annie. She lives in Northern California now and she's 91. Ralph, I think your middle name is Edward. :-) I loved the video. Thanks for always being funny.
Good evening Ralph and LeaAnn! I have no doubt wherever you send BS to live will be the very best for him. Those pups are so good and you can rest easy knowing they are in tip top shape. LeaAnn - very glad to hear your sister is doing well. Prayers up for Matt to get well soon and you two stay healthy. Much love. God bless
I just want to say I love how much Matt helps Grandpa on the farm. He is so awesome and so kind to the animals and so wonderful to his father. Take care.❤️✌🏼
Grandpa, I think grandma gave you the stink eye a couple of times. LOL The babies were so good for being such big babies. That was a long time to make them wait, but they just went to sleep, that was great. So glad everything went well for them. I think Grandpa was more stressed then anyone, loved you laying with the dogs.. Grandma you did great, proud of you and the babies. God Bless and Stay safe. OK, lol
You two are just so adorable. Grandpa, you have my biggest respect because you treat Grandma so respectful and you are so kind and polite to her. I live in Germany and the men just aren't gentleman here and it's not often that I hear husband's speak so sweet to their wives including my own husband 😢 Hope Matt get better soon. I loved the vet visit, glad all went well ❤
Always a blessing to see you guys. Ralph your right there are alot of Aunt Lois's out there my mommas sister was named Lois. There is some bad weather coming.. Us in East Texas will probably get it too. But not as bad as yall. God bless and Stay warm.
Love all the videos from you and your entire family. I'm guessing your middle name is Emmerson? Praying Matt recovers soon. I just recovered from Covid so I can sympathize. Stay safe and well with the upcoming weather changes.
Oh wow! I actually guessed the middle name! I like it but I imagine growing up most people are unhappy with some part of their name. I grew up with no one spelling mine right lol. Well I hope you are staying well and warm during this frigid weather.
Glad the doggies are great. Can tell how much Ralph loves them lays in the back of the vehicle with them & the floor of the vets office. LeaAnn loves them too. So happy they are all home safely. With that nasty weather. God Bless
Please be careful using a flat collar as they can slip out of them. If don't want to use a slip lead you can get what is called a ma rtingale. It slips tight but doesn't choke them. I have seen to many dogs slip their collar and take off. Just a suggestion to keep them safe.
Love watching you both out and about on the farm chores! Grandma the boss is on duty! It warms my heart reminds me of my granparents working sideby side then go their own way as grandpa tended mending fences and plowing /planting the big fields and grandma she did the garden planting and flower plantings, they both pruned the pear plum apple and cherry trees. Grandma had her chickens grandpa had the cows and horse. The outside dogs and the barn cats and a couple bunnys. Oh and old stinky the goat. And nannys w kids!
Ralph, it's like what you told Kyle & Shanon. You have to do what's best for the rest. I know you tried your best. Did Matt and Sis run off to Las Vegas?
Hi Ralph & Leeann i found with all the big dogs i have had they all like to chew on the leash when walking ,so i switched from collar to harness .it made it so much easier to walk them with out them chewing the leash and ya have a lot more control of where ya want them to go when you lead them insted of them leading you. good luck with the vet visit and any future car ride adventures with the dynamic duo .
Now I know where Kyle gets it. 😂 He is always trying to guilt Shannon into doing stuff. Do these guys realize that the ladies, cook, clean and wash too? ❤
Kyle and Shannon want chickens, maybe he can be their rooster? Maybe let them have a couple of your hens to go with him? They would be a wonderful home ❤

Is your middle name Eugene?
Exactly what I came to say..
I agree send to the kids. Great location. Prayers for Matt for a healthy speedy recovery.

So so thrilled to see Lola trotting around the pig palace. That is something I did not dare dream of in 2023.

The piano player.. Joanne
Ann, Pam and DJ
I spent a lot of time on the weekends with my Gramma and Grandpa so it was a given that Lawrence Welk was going to be on
I just loved the music, their clothes and the dancing and singing
So yes I would say it was the show to watch
And besides they only had 2 channels so Lawrence Welk was the bomb….
@@dj_cat_mama yes! I couldn’t think of her name for the life of me.. there was a youngman at my high school that could play the piano just like her.. loved it when he played at some of our school assemblies ..
@@marlamork7350 I’ve found Lawerence Welk on you tube and on my Roku, so I’m gonna re watch! ♥️
I’m surprised that they didn’t call you RED Ralph with those initials!
Your puppers are very well socialized for acting as well has they are.
i also had a grandpa king r we related? last name started with B
@@mce6328 probably not, my grandpa’s name was Carl and his brothers name was Merl.
@@tinajones5620 yea i’d say not my grandpas actual name was king
The things we do for our Fur Babies ❣️❣️
GOD BLESS Y'ALL
Prayers for health and safety.🙏❤️🙏
I just love watching you two and truly enjoy the chats, feel better Matt , stay warm n safe god bless x
Leann, keep on keepin' on! You're such a patient saint!!
A great day in my estimation!! Have a great evening!!
Feel better Matt!!🙏💕🙏
Hi grandpa and grandma!😊
Lola really has lost weight. You can see more of her legs!☺️
I’m going to guess your middle name, Everett , Edward or Ernest. 🤗
Nobody would guess mine as I haven’t got one!😂
Love all the Doss families ❤ God bless.
I love Mama Kitty on the top of the car looking down at y'all😂
It was cute seeing the kitty on top of the car when you wanted to load the dogs.😸
Ralph ,Leanne We call that type of weather, Sleet ,a mixture of rain and snow love those dogs 🙏🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🤵♂️👩🌾🧑🏻🌾🐓🐐🐕🦺🇺🇸🇬🇧
So very good news for the dogs and nice sizes for them. Thank you for sharing with us and taking us along. Take care and stay warm.
Denise Taylor, I'm from the Northwestern corner of Michigan, the Snowbelt. So I'm wondering how much snow we will end up with.
I’m from the southern part of Michigan, and they said snow, but I believe they’ve changed their minds to rain. I miss the snow.
WOW grandpa that is true LOVE ❤️
Grandma you rock. Feed the animals in the snow. Wow. GREAT VIDEO ❤
Grandpa, the tiny egg is from a first-time layer.
💝💖💝🙏🙏🙏 I'm 65 now and I use to watch the Lawrence Welk show each week. Praying Matt is feeling better soon. BS would be a great start for Kyle and Shannon, and we could still see him❣
Revel and Riley really show their size in that waiting room
LeAnn is fisty with Ralph...Love it!! Ralph getting your chicken run in with cashing BS. Lola on the Move! Looking great Sis! Good job Ralph on riding with the dogs. Your a trooper 😊❤
My Mom was born in Neosho, Missouri and her name is Fern Annebelle. She never did like her name and usually went by Annie. She lives in Northern California now and she's 91. Ralph, I think your middle name is Edward. :-) I loved the video. Thanks for always being funny.
Welcome to the Howdy God Bless you and your Family and your Fur Babies ✌️💜🙏
Will grandma get a fire everyday this week. Praying for all those having bad weather.
Maybe BS could be Matt's first bird. Matt seems to enjoy him. God Bless.
OK, lol
Great video! Pups were awesome. Ralph, maybe your middle name is Elmer. Ralph Elmer Doss. ❤🙏
Your dogs are so beautiful! I have a friend who raises and shows her great Pyrenees.
Pretty to look at though the window guys .😀❄️❄️
Stay safe. The pups did great.
I love watching you two banter! You are so sweet...thank you for sharing with us. God bless you both🥰🙏❤️🎉🐕
None of the other owners of LGD keep them leash trained either. Just take them as they are!
I wanted to be the bubble blower on the Lawrence Welk Show when I grew up. I really enjoy you videos. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Snowing here in Iowa prayers for you all.😊
It’s sleeting where I am in Illinois ( 50 miles south of Chicago)
Yes Grandma you can drive the tractor get out there have fun in the snow!❤
Aka just walking around doing what need to be done together! 😊
Kyle is getting chickens he might like him
Good job l love watching Lola moving around like that.😊❤
Ralph, it's like what you told Kyle & Shanon. You have to do what's best for the rest. I know you tried your best.
Did Matt and Sis run off to Las Vegas?
Maybe he found a diamond worm he promised her😅
He might have! I thought that was so funny. I could just see Sis trying to peck at it! 😂
Enjoyed your video and seeing the animals ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Riley and Rebel did very well at the vets office ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those are beautiful dogs. Just love them.❤❤❤
Now I know where Kyle gets it. 😂 He is always trying to guilt Shannon into doing stuff. Do these guys realize that the ladies, cook, clean and wash too? ❤
❤❤❤❤❤
