Rn classes?
I was struck at this for hours now, this got cleared in a few minutes, thanks a lot sir !
Best Strategy for RREF:
Start by making bottom left 0.
Make every number zero except for the diagonal.
Multiply the equations so that the diagonals are 1s.
It's tedious either way, but you gave a very clear explanation. Thank you!
thankyou !:)
I have been struggling with matrix operations for a while and this is the best video I've found! Cleared the concept up in 10 minutes. Thank you very much, sir!
watched so many vids on this type of question, including khan academy. THIS IS THE BEST ONE. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH
You’re welcome William!
I tried with Sal too but he kept saying add this row to 2 times the amount of this row and all the "this row"'s are IMPOSSIBLE to take notes on... "here", "there", "this one"... not easy to understand
I was able to find the inverse of a matrix using row operations for the first time after viewing this class. The tip about working from the bottom left corner, then focusing on the top right corner really helped.
This is the best video I've watched on RREF. Absolutely saved me.
THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE SO FAR I GOT FROM UA-cam! THANKYOU SIR.
Thank you so much for teaching this ! Before I found this video I was struggling doing ero . But now I can do it smoothly . 😭
whowwww coooooooooool!!!! when I was introduced to this topic and hour ago, I was confused, but thanks for making it clear now
Having a test tommorow and had a lot of problems with this certain part, thank you for this information
mario your videos saved me last semester in stats, now with your help i will pass linear algebra 🙏
Love ur lectures!!! Thannnkss!!!
I have a test on this next week! thx dude
after a long semester i now can do this confidently thanks
This is really good work thank you so much
This helped a lot man, really appreciate it
great video, hoping all your videos are this helpful
That was fun yo watch thanks
I find this video pretty easy to understand, as long as I first try the question by myself first and pause the video if I get stuck...Thank you !
Thank you professor, touchdown
Thanks a lot, Explained it so well.
Bless your soul you're a hero
You, my good sir, are THE GOAT
beautiful explanation im proud i understood that immediately
Thank you so much! What if the coefficient for x in row one is more than 1? Would I need to make it one first or anytime while solving the problem?
I'm ur student, from India , respect u sir, thank you for the video,
THANK YOU SO MUCH
This was such a great help in coaching my daughter through her Algebra lesson this morning. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
😭😇👏👏👏👏you made this so easy to understand thank you
Thank you sensei.
Man, this is great; helped me alot! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Thank for helping those who really need to solve such problems
i have my semester finals tomorrow, this helped me soo much!!
thank you!!
this video is a LIFE SAVER
Thanks Sir, I understand it in first go.
your a great teacher
You could teach differential equations to a 5 year old. Awesome video sir. Thanks!
Tq, it's so easy to understand 😊
The best of the best 👌
Thank you!
You’re welcome Siphesihle!
Excellent Explanation , just wanted to know that if i'm getting 1's diagonally but my values are different of x , y and z , will it still be correct
yes x y z in matrix are satisfying x y z from the original system
Thank you!!
You’re welcome!
Thank you so much!! I was so confused for days but now I finally figured out how to solve it :D
You saved my life thank you so much 😭😭😭😭🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
thankyou so much it was helpful to me.
Thank you ❤️
You’re welcome Muscab!
Thank you so much sir
Bravo!
Just wanna say thank you.🙏
Thanks a lot

THANKYOUUUUU
Thank you so much
Love from india
Thank you, very helpful
You’re welcome Kyle!
Hi! Is Gaussian Elimination and Elementary Row Operations the same thing?
Thank you sir
Thankyou so much
You’re welcome Jade!
Danke!
Brilliant
My guy thank u
This is good
thank you good video
Glad you enjoyed it
Instead of doing 3R1+R2=R1, couldnt you have just multiplied R1 by -1/2, R2 by 1/6, and R3 by 1/2?
i know a master when i see one .... you are the shaolin dude of maths
So you can choose in which row of the rows you use you put the answer?
nice
absolute goat
I think I'm going crazyyyy after watching this LOL
Can you sometime do more challenging quastions
By "non-zero constant" do you mean any number? Does the number have to come from one of the equations or can it be anything?
i was confused on this too, did you ever find out? Also do you know if you can multiply the rows by fractions, ex 1/5 or something
@@gingermuro6388 yes you can
Does this work for things like a 2x3?
Yes.
This video really helped!!! May Jesus bless you
Hi, I have a question about the third step at 3:38. Some textbooks said we can add a scalar multiple of one row to another row, and replace the latter row with that sum (Ex: 3 x row1 + row 2 = row2). In this tutorial, you multiplied second row with -2 and add to the 3rd row, but the new answer becomes 2nd row. I am a little bit confused…..
Sir y u start on last ro ?
And
Y u not star on any row ?
THANK YOU CIKGU BOTAK
Quick questn: is the order of the first augmented matrix a 3x3? Or 3x4?
Isaac, The dimensions are 3 x 4. Three rows by four columns.
Thank youuuu 👌
@@MariosMathTutoring have a good day/night there sir. Much appreciated
Thank you Sir. May Allah reward you.
You’re welcome Abdul!
Wow someone who actually knows logic.
Glad you liked the video!
holy shit thank you
You can do this with any 3 equations right?
is it possible to solve it with two equations? like example
2x +3x =6
x -- y =2
in the first step, why did you call the 6 a negative 6?
Hi sir, it is quite interesting video. I have a question about R1+ -1.R3 -> R3. on the third row why you get number "2" I still cannot find the reason? I have already calculated it.
1 1 1 ⎢ 2
2 -1 3 ⎢-7
0 0 2 ⎢ 6
The first zero is came from:
1 + -1.1 =
(+ meet - become -)
so it is
1 - 1.0 = 0
and the second zero is came from:
1 + -1.1 =
1 - 1.0 = 0
But for the last one:
1 + -1.-1 =
0. -1 = ...
is it supposedly 0 too?
I hope you can help me to find where the 2 come from?
I'm a new beginner in Algebra Linear, and I'd like to study.
Thank you
Feriks, this other video I did may help you to understand it better: Gaussian Elimination with Back Substitution ua-cam.com/video/jOC4fMgl7TI/v-deo.html
u just cant count bro
@@MariosMathTutoring thank you Mario
Feriks Admadiredja lmao i thought the same thing. i’m so confused
@@George-om7gf Lol, yes I do not understand that part. But you are incapable to give the explication. So sad. The matter is unsolved by this. Lol
Just a quick question: If you were to perform row operations on Row 1 and Row 2, could you choose whether to put the answer in row 1 or row 2 or is there a specified row the answer should go on?
You can put the answer in either one Timothy!
Thank you so much!
🙏
In some examples we should change the raws but I didn’t understand when should we change 😭
yur my saveoure
No one here has to be sooo happy , he has done a mistake . x=-1 not 1
🙇🏾♂️🙇🏾♂️🙇🏾♂️
this is like a rubiks cube
For my own reference : " You can add any 2 rows together; you can multiply any row by a non - zero constant. You can interchange any 2 rows and you can add or subtract any 2 rows together."
X value have 7 enshrined of 1
Thanks
I still dont get it wwhyyyyyy
why? what's the point of doing so?
saved me. My professor is terrible.
This is Gauss Jordan method, not Elementary Row operation
…using elementary row operations
jhonny sins teaching linear algebra 😂😂
