Take over the world in RISK Global Domination, the iconic strategy board game.
Junk: Conquers four locations killing thousands
Junk: "I JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!"
Sounds familiar
Chilled also played this game before and said he hasnt...
Sounds familiar
What minute?
Junk: "I did not attack you!"
Chilled: "ARE YOU SENILE OLD MAN?! ARE YOUR TROOPS NOT IN AFRICA?! DID ROMMEL FORGET WHERE HE PARKED ALL OF HIS FUCKING TROOPS?!
This is the best quote by Chilled in a long time!
Yes, he did say that.
he needs to put this on a shirt
Junk does the same thing in every game :)
Italy: *attacks Spain*
Chilled: "Italy's going into Great Britain?"
genuinely loved hearing everyone argue about who should attack who
i watched this live the rage u heard in chilled's voice playing with tweetle dee and tweetle dumb aka cheesy and ellum when they kept attacking each other and junk when he complained abt being attacked and immediately attacking chilled was hilarious
When you said tweetle dee and tweetle dumb, I immediately thought of when Tay and Sin hopped out of a vent right as Chilled walked into Medical
Cheesy sounds like the only dumb one. He kept attacking Ellum.
@@seppukumouse8005 to be fair to cheesy though he was cornered off by his allies amd had no where else to go. Ellum got a massive stack that could've blown through Europe but decided to annihilate cheesy
@@MChief123 yeah your right. I shouldn't have said anything until the end of the video.
@@MChief123 cheesy and ellum could've gotten so many troups if they decided to not attack eachother from the start. Cheesy could only attack chilled and ellum but the whole point of the game is that YOU DONT HAVE TO. He could've bolstered and just gotten his troops really high just like junk and platy did, and he would've easily been able to prevent the clusterfuck that was junk screaming "why are people attacking me" while gaining hundreds of troups at a time, and getting away with a win. I think the most frustrating part of this was no one listening to chilled when he literally is saying attack platy and junk. Chilled was the ONLY enemy of both platy and junk that whole time.
I'm admittedly a little surprised that Chilled was the nicest one, of course it ended pretty damn bad for him but I'm excited for him to learn and play again if possible
Note to self when it comes to Ellum in Risk:
NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER Rely on Ellum on the wheel
19:48
@Jeremy S. Chilled was the only one fighting two fronts in Junk and platy, while they just raised their own armies, and cheesy and ellum kept whittling each other down. Tho to be fair, cheesy didn't have access to the east.
@@george36615984 Even if they didnt attack each other, platy or junk had a snowballing opportunity to raise armies up to several hundreds. Ellum attacking cheesy to near death was not a an important, definitely wasnt a critical mistake. It just a timing on selling cards on exponensial increasing bonus that matters
I liked it but I sorta hated how Junk was given the pity pass. It was mostly Ellum v Chilled v Cheesy in the south west while Platy and Junk quietly built their armies. At least Platy was a good sport about it all but Junk kept screaming like he's in danger which gave him a lot of pity points from Chilled.
the elf cries out in pain as it strikes you
yea, I like Junk normally but that was pathetic from him, he walked through Africa and then is crying because he was attacked once
@@TheOmegaXicor he was legit basically a karen.
this was a great stream, at the time i didn't think I'd enjoy it (I'd never watched risk before) but the drama was hilarious. but boy it was not junks finest hour. when chilled was actually the most honorable and fair one the whole time says it all. i do hope they play it again some point in the future.
Ive never been more annoyed with Junk. "I cAnT sEe!" thats the point!
In junk's defense, the board game itself has no such fog of war.
@@donavannj Yes but Junk is also being extra loud in this one, and with a LOT of complaining about people even getting close to him while constantly pressuring the others to hurry up by reminding them of the clock. I'm only 22 minutes in but already debating closing the video...
@@StygianIkazuchi unfortunately it doesn’t get better lol
@@chriscorvid50 Yea, Junk's whining while others are playing the game is getting annoying lately. It was obvious to he was building up troops in the background, he had Australia since round 2.
I've been getting really sick of his attitude in among us too. Any time someone casts any doubt on his stories or on him being good, instead of trying to convince people he is right, he says "just vote me out." Why even play a game about deception and trust if you aren't willing to do anything whatsoever to gain people's trust, other than tell your story and expect everyone to believe you?
The only places on the map I NEVER want to start in are Europe and Asia. For me Risk is all about controlling chokepoints and the way I see it.
Australia has one
South America has two
North America has three.
South America is my favorite spot. Small amount of territories, easy to guard, decent bonus, and it leads into an easy takeover of Africa and North America of they're not quickly defended.
My favorite is NA. Especially when I'm able to plant most of my original territories within it. Then I go for SA
Dump EVERYTHING into australia, take it over, then move everything into siam. Nobody wants to break through that chokepoint and you can just bide your time while everyone ignores you and just kills each other
This is why I find the idea of custom maps to be an interesting and almost integral part of this game since the real map isn’t exactly fair or well-balanced but game devs could make a map that makes for great gameplay
@@Wrigley953 Very true. Risk is good for an entry level for people to start board games, but once you start to understand games, you see how poorly balanced risk is
This is why i never play with the progressive card bonus rule, the whole “just leave me one country” thing doesn’t work when they can immediately drop 40 troops in that one country
Same thing with fog of war. It may be useful in a competitive game but casually its just kinda annoying to watch/play with friends
It’s not a progressive problem. They need to learn that if they want to win they should eliminate each other when they can.
@@deadwaves4115 Well, quick eliminations or early eliminations are pretty bad for content, and they’re content creators. They’re not really playing as strategically as possible
@@deadwaves4115 oh yeah lemme just kick my fellow content creator out and have him spectate 15 min into the hour long match
@@edwardcardona717 what’s good for content is if they play to win and the games are quicker. They could play two games if they tried.
I knew junk was gonna win when nobody but chilled payed attention to him.
I've been playing Risk with my dad and friends for about 20 years now....and hot dang, the absolute slug-fests that ensue with new players is so much more chaotic and entertaining than the meta lol

31:38 - 32:02 Junkyard, chill, bro, you're cracking me up here!
Honestly, Risk is a game where if you don't play aggressively, you die fast. I get wanting to keep people in the game, but Cheesy and Ellum made the mistake of staying at a stalemate the entire time, Chilled was relying on his alliances too heavily, and Platy and Junk were the strongest because they were only either neutral or aggressive to everyone else, and each other, plus, they were the only ones in Asia, so all it'd take is one taking the continent to get a massive edge, that person being Junk just makes it worse because then instead of a +7 it's a +9.
You gotta play risky and the only ones who did that were Platy and Junk, and Platy over extended into america, although, yeah, the card boosts late game are insane, so it's just a matter of time before someone sweeps the board.
man. junk was something else in this. IDK how chilled got guilted into not attacking, I would have gone full tilt into attacking junk just because he kept trying to play a victim every time someone might have attacked him, or claimed their land back after he attacked them.
Chilled must have completely forgotten that he's played RISK before, because he's got videos of him playing it from awhile back. Made for some interesting moments for sure. XD
I thought i was the only one who remembered this
I'd love to see them play Risk again when they gain a little more experience playing the game. The game can become extremely fun to play or even watch, similar to Monopoly. I usually enjoy playing the card system on fixed mode instead of progressive. It just allows a more balanced and strategic way to play since people won't get 30+ troops out of anywhere. Altogether, great video Chilled :).
Junk playing the victim the entire game when zero people moved into his territory the entire time honestly pissed me off.
Junk: complains about being attacked once after repeatedly being on the assault then just takes out chilled after platy puts the work in I don't mind junk usually but he came off super whiny this video
I think he was doing it on purpose, that way he could fly under the radar a lot easier. Chilled knew that he was amassing an army in Asia, so the best Junk could do was lie, play possum, and hope that the Fog of War would hide what he was doing. Which is exactly what happened xD .
@@josephschultz3301 Yep. Platy actually would have had total domination if he ended Ellum, Chilled, & Cheesy all on one turn. The number of cards he would have had? Holy crap, Junk would have had no chance.
@@IRanOutOfPhrases That's Risk, baby! Sure, he might have been a bit annoying as a result, but it was definitely the smartest thing Junk could have done. I mean, you can't really argue with Total World Domination, can you? =D
South America and Australia are the best continents to start. Defending is super easy considering South America only has two territories to defend and Australia has one. Then from there you should work your way to Africa and then work up the Northern hemisphere. Just some tips :)
Really enjoyed this as basic as the game is. It's perfect for you guys. I love how Chilled instigated all of the faction in fighting until it erupted then blamed Cheesy for the inevitable collapse.
I like how Chilled was warning everyone about Junk and no one listening!
Well Chilled definitely didn't like it lol
Junk loves to pretend to be the frail old man every game he plays
Ellum and Cheesy completely messed up their alliance, all Cheesy had to do was move up through Alaska over to Asia, and Ellum just needed to move to Europe.
There’s no reason to keep troops in South America with Chilled not attacking and protecting his Eastern border, those troops needed to have been moved into Asia to weaken Junk, NOT constantly killing Ellum.
The only thing keeping Ellum weak did was allow Platy to grow strong, and for some reason Ellum joined in by attacking Cheesy.
Since those two were too busy killing each other, Chilled was stuck defending, since mounting an significant offensive against either Junk or Platy would allow the other to kill Chilled the next turn.
Junk taking Oceania immediately, and having enough Asian + Middle Eastern territories there as a buffer served as a perfect defense for a constant continent bonus.
Despite his complaining, Junk used the fog perfectly to his advantage. He was able to gaslight Chilled into insanity while keeping Ellum & Cheesy in the dark and unable to coordinate an attack against him. His use of the Middle East & NE Asia as a deterrent against any attack worked perfectly as well, it kept the others away while only focusing on Platy.
Since the trio failed to use their alliance effectively to see through the fog, they never fully knew how powerful he was growing. Only Chilled knew about Oceania, and Platy wasn’t a reliable source of info, so they never knew what was going on in Asia until it was too late.
For beginners I would recommend turning off the fog, turning up the timer, and letting the game pick territories are random. Cause without it, it’s too easy for the experienced to grow too powerful, and too easy for the novices to destroy themselves.
This game can be so anxiety inducing when you see someone gather 70 troops next to you, and you’re just praying they don’t go after you.
54:16 Chilled was in a winning spot. Max troops (or maybe a bit less) Push into South America and take out cheesy. This game would give chilled the cards and since it was plus 3 he would be able (only once extra from the initial draft) to draft more troops and deploy in Africa. I would put them in the connecting part because no matter what when you take land you lose a troop technically as one must remain behind to hold territory. Sorta scorched earth. Next turn push North America and keep gathering cards and building forces. Take choke points like Iceland and Alaska as that's all you need to worry about if you own South America.
It's also the nature of playing this with friends on stream - even if a winning move is there, they probably won't take it because it would involve knocking out one of the group and basically meaning they have no contribution to content for however long the game will last. And considering it's Risk, it could a long ass time of Cheesy or whoever just sitting there and spectating the game instead of actually being involved in it.
@@Mrryn you can’t play risk and decide not to take them out if you can. You’ll never win.
Seeing chilled leaving only one troop on his borders was so stressful 😂😂 you gotta leave some people behind my guy!
The dynamic of Junk, Chilled, and Platty is hilarious. Chilled and Junk yelling, and Platty just laughing in the background. XD
Chilled: "He's got seven in lower Great Britain..."
The Spanish and the French: "OK what?"
This needs to be a whole series
I hope next time he plays this, they show absolutely no mercy. Cause, like some other people in the comments, was getting tired of Junk hiding with his continent since turn 1, then acting like the victim and complaining he can't see. Like, you have words. Just ask who has what
Surprised at all the negativity, I thought this was hilarious. I get being a little frustrated by Junk's antics (As well as Ellum's and Cheesy's to an extent), but I thought it made for some great moments, and they were clearly all still having a good time.
Yeah this comment section kind of sucks
Most people are just sensitive to people being hypocritical and this video junk was up there
I think it has to do with how Junk just wiped out chilled. Platy was enjoying the infighting and took advantage but wasn't trying to eliminate anyone. He also didn't bitch and moan about being attacked the whole game when he was the aggressor.
Just for future risk games : if there are 3 or more troops in attacking territory they get 3 dice defenders can only get max of 2 dice for 2 or more troops but if attacker goes down to 2 troops they only get 2 dice ad attackers can't attack if there's only 1 troop because one gets left behind ties in dice rolls go to defender as well so if defender rolls two 6s then attackers just lose 2 troops
Junk complaining about not being able to see the other side of the world is such an annoying but flimsy excuse. If he wants to win he needs to own it :/
He really Risked a lot making this video guys so make sure you like it!
Im honestly suprised you guys reatrained yourselves for so long. You guys were in "quick game" settings. If you do auto set up and fixed card bonus then it makes it much more even and noob friendly.
i love how accurate this video is to actual imperialists (like ellum)
32:23 "Are you senile, old man!?" lmao
Chilled is too nice sometimes
@@wingerclip1476 Because his goal is to provide content not win the game. His rules are in furtherance of that purpose.
27:28
My brain interpreted this as a Skeletor impression, and I felt that mental picture was worth sharing.
“Did Rommel forget where he parked all his fucking troops” I can’t get over this fucking line, as a fan of WW2 history this has me rolling.
55:05 perfect summarization of the video
Jesus Junk was so manipulative and evil in this game
yesssss, I've been waiting for RISK content lol please continue posting more of it :)))))
The true friendship destroyer. People talk about monopoly as if it was evil, but Risk. Oh Risk. How I love you and only you. Now let's build up troops in Australia, and no one will be able to beat me.
I'm an hour in and junk is still complaining about not seeing the board.
55:05 Platy's right and he should say it
Junk was unbearable for this, literally sat there and whined the entire time after being attacked like once and just got all triumphant when he just turtles in Australia.
Sounds like Junk in just about every game these days
I love the concept of junk being brought in these videos but he's clearly not fun to play with. I don't personally know him obviously so maybe he's a great guy and he's extremely enjoyable to be around but seriously...dude whines if he's losing, whines if he's winning but somebody notices, whines if somebody is attacking him, and whines if he even THINKS somebody has the slightest thought of attacking him. On top of it all, he brags when he wins. I can't wait to see another game of this where he gets targeted and he can't use the excuse of "Why me? I don't win" yadda yadda.
Junk is (and has always been) unbearable. Doesn't pay attention to anything and whines all the time about everything else
@@patrickholmes6755 I used to watch Junk's channel maybe 10 years ago or so. I made a comment on a Cooking With Junkyard video and said something that either poked fun at him, called him out on something wrong, or maybe I was just being a snarky teenager. He replied angrily and I apologized for upsetting him. He proceeded to talk shit on me (he never said my username but it couldn't be anyone else) for more than one video afterward. Dude acts like he's the nicest person ever but does that shit. Haven't been a fan since. Not saying I'm an angel either, just that he's a dick
@@wingerclip1476 but there all true. Platy makes jokes like he keeps getting poked and only having sick and ill troops. Junk just goes about chilled winning all games. I dont want him out of videos but he really needs to calm down.
That was a pretty amazing display of feigned helplessness on Junk's part. I would reward him by taking him out in the first few turns. Show no mercy to a man without honor. He'll complain no matter where it goes. Use his guilt trips against him and laugh all the way to the bank as he sits on the sidelines. You reap what you sow.
That's what they did in the very next game
I’m curious about this game, I’ve never played it and it always sounds so complex!! 😯
Plus cheesy’s laugh at 36:12 lol
This has taught me that Chilled is a good strategist. He was able to convince others to back off when they should ... Sometimes. Didn't make up for other people being foolish. To his credit, he kept trying to help his allies.
In Monopoly he's good, other games.... eh?
1:10:26 Look I get you guys want to play but JESUS! Chilled Cheesy cannot help anyone. Ellum at that point would be in a majorly better position especially if you weren't attacking him as he'd just need to defend Iceland and Alaska. Like I get you want to keep players in because they're streaming but this is just dumb.
I use chilled videos as a sleep aid, but this was way too entertaining and I ended up watching the while thing! It was unbelievably fun to watch!
Yes, more chilled content!!!
im 100% sure chilled has played risk. may not remember i guess.
He played a different version of risk a while ago. The thumbnail uses the characters from the risk game he played before too
He did, just not this exact version, but it was a few years ago. It has similar art so it may be the same dev.
Platy not giving a fuck about the game and just hanging back to listen to Chilled argue with Cheesy and Junk lmaoooo
Chilled gave a very accurate read of the situation early on. Too bad playing Risk blinds you with so much petty rage
I missed this game, I'm glad you're playing it again.
This is the most lucid and on-point I've seen Ellum yet!
Took me a year to find this video as someone who plays this game but watches chilled
Funny to see how they played this also noticed dice were on true random o.o
Would be fun to see more of this game maybe
I love when you guys play risk! I hope you have a ton of fun with it so you keep it up
You NEED to play more of this game!!
I've never been so angry at junk in a video before. I was listening to this while I drew and my blood started boiling. Its insane how manipulate he is. Begging for mercy then inciting violence. He talks bullshit then pleads innocent. Idk if he was drunk or something but I felt like he became deaf and started talking the language of dumb.
Really hope they play more of this.
loved seeing platy's march of the space marines through all of the americas
I'VE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS!!! duuude please do more I love this shit.
I dont understand why chilled never reinforces that one African territory under the middle east. It's driving me crazy.
I really hope you do more of this, this was AMAZING.
Platy is correct, Risk is the BEST version of Monopoly.
The problem with the online version is being able to get 60 troops ! What's the point of getting continents for bonus troops when you can have 100 troops. The board game only allows like +5 +10 +15 and +20 troops for getting 3 soldiers , 3 horses, 3 cannons or one of each.
Someone said they were playing under quick game rules or something.
@@stevenclark5173 OH really. I only played the online version once so wouldn't know much about it.
the real quick play would be mission cards. Like having to get Africa or take the player who's playing in red.
At 57:00 when Junk attacked Africa and lost 5 troops? That was Wakanda
It was honestly refreshing to see Junk be the master of the game with his prior experience playing it.
It was also hilarious watching Ellum flush the ENTIRE ALLIANCE down the drain.
It wasn't really Junk being a master as much as it was him being a complete ass and Chilled trying not to be one in return. Every time Junk would attack he would turn into whining baby when Chilled would just attack back.
@@bluhmer1990 I meant master as in understanding the scope, strategies and mechanics of how the game works and best practices more so than his verbal retorts.
@@thenarrator9204 That's what I was disagreeing with. He wasn't executing better strategies or anything, he just played a victim complex to the extreme so Chilled wouldn't attack when he should have.
@@bluhmer1990 as annoying as it might've seemed, he did execute better strategies throughout. He immediately took Australia, he used the fog of war to hide his troop activity, he played his cards better, he interrupted numerous times others continent bonuses, he kept focus off of himself, he properly defended his borders, and he waited until his biggest obstacles destroyed themselves. These are all effective ways to play Risk.
@@thenarrator9204 I'll grant you some of that, but again he only got to do any of that because he played up his victim complex to Chilled wouldn't crush him when he had the opportunity.
Junk and Plat Casually bodying Ellum, Cheesy and Chilled JFC 😂😂😂
I've been missing such a complete chaos. :D
I hope you upload next game as well.
Yu gain one card per turn IF you win a battle. One battler = one card per turn. It is best to take Australia first and hold it.
"I didn't know you get anything for killing people"
Yeah just ignore the fact that Junk has been literally SCREAMING that the whole game!
Junk was screaming about a whole lotta things the entire video tbh
oh, hes moved the cam lol. No, there is no New Zealand hahaha
Damn, junk got crunk 😂😂😂 just hearing him rant is hilarious
I would love to see them do this again now that Chilled and Platy know how to play. I just hope the turn off the fog of war. It’s not as fun to watch because you miss half the turns and what’s happening.
Chilled's cam was in the way for me to tell if NZ was on the map. Its not often NZ is on a map.... im guessing it isnt lol
Okay I loved this video but in honesty Junk is so annoying in this type of game 😅 he legit complained about Chilled while he railed Chilled then begged for mercy and then immediately attacked the ones who gave him mercy. Then everyone else gave someone mercy and Junk just instantly kills chilled when he has the chance. No honor, no pride, just an old man going into absolute denial when Chilled could have just tossed his troops to kill both him and Junk nearing the end when he entered Asia🤣😭
They let Junk and Platy walk away with this landslide. The only person who attacked Platy or Junk until the end was Chilled.
If Cheesy, Ellum and Chilled would have just coordinated there at about the 1:05:00 they could have had a 3 front war on Europe and Asia because Cheesy had a foothold in Asia. 3 People with continent bonuses, slowly moving in on 3 fronts against Platty and Junk and they could have had an epic war. Instead Cheesy being blind, he thinks that he needs to break his alliance with Ellum to be able to attack Asia WHEN HE ALREADY HAS LAND THERE
Junk lost that 4/1 because he was invading Ethiopia historically "HARD AS FUCK TO INVADE"
Junk goes from crying anytime someone breathes in his direction to just mopping the floor with them. Impressive honestly.
lmao the whole game is just everyone wanting a continent but no one wanting anyone else to have one
I knew Platy at one point was gonna fuck people up with him being all silent 🤣
Also I don't know if the rounds would work better, but Table Top Simulator has this game. If the fog of war/turn times is an issue.
This shit was hilarious I nice break from things like monopoly and such lol
i'm genuinely surprised they didn't know how to play risk
You should try to play castle risk. There was no point in giving an alliance with Cheesy as he could not grow well because he could never take over a territory.
Risk can ruin more friendships than monopoly. There, I said it
This was hilarious please do more the chaos was sooo entertaining.
Watching Chilled play games like Monopoly or Risk with Junk just gets exhausting because Junk becomes such a whiny hypocritical baby about everything, and he's so loud about it that no one can get a word in edgewise.
Junk went straight boomer strategy of screaming nope over and over while blowing everything up and I loved it
Idk. It kinda is annoying hearing him contradict himself over & over. Personally I would have finished him off so he would learn to play more carefully & thus improve how they play.
@@PandoraSlicer He used guilt trips like old people love to do.
@@GodDragonLich Not like Junk.
Best Africa strat is to just leave a HUGE stack in egypt, this can react to any entrance from Europe, Asia, or South America, without losing too many troops. Follow this up by smushing south america asap, you can have two army plugs with +5 a turn
I like the older versions of Risk where Africa only had to defend two territories. East Africa connecting with the Middle East basically makes it an impossible territory to defend.
Europe and Asia were always the battle zones. And any Veteran of Risk knows, you don't leave the Australian player alone.
Just to let you know just a pointer blitz is for when you have plenty of units to spare
