Absolutely beautiful. And I've never seen the inside of the Church of Saint Mary of Eunate before! What a treat!! I've said it many times, but I'll say it again: THANK YOU, soooo much Efrén! I am so grateful for your amazing talent and all the time you spend working so hard for us. And I want to thank your lovely family too, because I know it has to be hard for them to be away from you for long periods of time as you're out there creating these wonderful vlogs for us. Best wishes on your new adventures coming up this year. Be well, have a BLAST, and we'll see you when you get home. BUEN CAMINO! ULTREIA!
Btw Efren, when I have an extra bed ( if I could only find a twin room) I offer the bed to another pilgrim… I am a woman in my 70’s and I even helped a 20-year old pilgrim on a small budget by letting him have the free bed. Things one would never do anywhere but on the camino. !!!
This was such an interesting day. Great work. At one point, when you were following the donkey, I thought you said they were making a donkeymentary - and I thought, what a great name! LOL . Lots of great footage today!
Many thanks for your video about the Camino Frances, it reminds me of my journey in 2017 and 2019. A lot of nostalgia, a trip that changed the way I look the life. 🇫🇷
I left St John on Oct 1. Stayed at Borda (highly recommend so you can watch the sunrise in the Pyrenees) then Roncesvilles. We were close! I got to P.L.R. on October 5th! I ran into the Koreans with the Donkey in Navarrete! Awesome times.
Thank you, Efrén for this series of truly wonderful videos. They are indispensable to a novel I'm constructing. While the plot is concerned more for the interactions between three aging, adventurous women rather than the Camino itself, having the videos as reference is immensely helpful in depicting their journey. It is also a vicarious tour for me as well which, being unable to hike the Camino in person, gives me the feeling I'm there. Beautiful.I hope this brings a smile to your day.😁
Your footage is absolute amazing! We feel we are right there with you. Thank you so much!!!!!! Just wondering where the videos are from Puenta La Reina to Logroño?
@@Walk_with_Efren We will carry on from Ponferrada with you. 😊. We have watched your 2017 vlog so many times. Before we went in 2018 and during Covid it was our go to pick me up to escape. We are planning the Portuguese way in 2024, so will be watching that as well. Have you ever thought of hiking the West Coast Trail in Canada? On the west coast of Vancouver Island. It’s a short but challenging hike. Amazing scenery.
Thank you so much for your amazing footage as you take us along with you on your adventures! Don’t know if you know, but I saw someone recommended you on the Camino forum on Ivar. Check it out. I look forward to your next adventure. Be safe!
Glad you went back to Santa Maria de Eunate & got inside! I have a soft spot for those octagonal churches. Time for another tip of the hat for how well the music integrates in this Podiensis/Frances 2021 series - it's subtler & more timeless & effective (IMO). If it's someone helping you in the editing bay, bravo. If it's you, it's yet another arrow in your quiver of truly awesome developing skills.👍🏻
Amazing footage, it is always such a treat to watch your videos. You mentioned earlier in your videos that you are walking to Logroño, are there still a few more videos to come in this series?
I hope you walked around the Church of Santa Maria Eunate seven times! did you try the Anis on the walk? I remember that the people on this village and till Viana will be out around 11pm to 2am. I could not understand.
Am I missing something? I have been watching since Le Puy and thought you would vlog up to Pamplona but I can’t see any vlogs beyond this for this series. Help?
Thank you for following the entire trip. My original intention was to vlog the podiensis to sjpdp. Everything after that was extra credit as I had already vloged the Frances in 2017. It rained from Puente la Reina all the way to Logroño so I decided to put my camera gear away.
@@Walk_with_Efren Thanks Efren. I have seen all the earlier (2017) vlogs. I’m only asking because I enjoy your narration and was looking forward to you wrapping up the Camino and describing what’s next. Cheers. ✌️❤️🙏🇦🇺
I stopped vlogging in Puente la Reina because it rained every day up to logroño. You can continue to Santiago watching my original series from 2017. ua-cam.com/play/PLVAiPQLcqYe0pXBm-Qc3KxP5yFrpJriqi.html
Awesome! It makes my heart ache for 2017 again. One day. One day.
Just finished my Camino. Efren’s videos inspired me to do it! Now I’m watching the series again to compare it to my experience. Love this dude!
You are so enthusiastic - love it! Planning to walk late September 2023...nervous.
Go n-éirí an bóthar leat. (May the road rise to meet you) Enjoy every minute of the adventure ☘️🇮🇪
It is a pleasure to watch your videos. It's like I'm there walking with the pilgrims. Many thanks!🙏
Efren, thank you for giving the date of your walk, very helpful!
Stunning photography

Nice one Efren. One of my favourite stages

Thqnk you so much. It rained all those days so I put my camera away. You can see my original 2017 vlog series or pick up Ponferrada to Santiago 2021

I've heard about the trails in Canada and I have them on my list but I'm looking to do Rome to Santiago next year.

When did you walk this one? I have never seen flies on the camino except going up to O’Cebreiri where there were a lot of horses and horse dung…
Date on the video's description

Taking the car was fine, as it was a side trip. People need to calm down. 😂
Efren, I don't see day 5, a video that should come after this one. Did you upload it, or not?
It rained all the way to Logroño and I decided to stop vlogging. You can continue by following my 2017 vlog series or my 2022 ebike series.
At 10:16 - The Very Famous Statues At Alto Del Perdon

@@Walk_with_Efren Thank you for your reply! I'll do that then :) I just started on the Camino and love your content! Greetings from Roncesvalles x
When do you expect to reach santiago? I'm doing the camino Francés on a bike at the end of the month.
