Man, sad to see that BMW fly off the edge like that, but what I noticed is from his video and your video is your Honda definitely has more grip and handles better, and is able to like grip better right after those jumps and bumps
Definitely a more compliant suspension. The E36 bottomed out BAD right as he lost control. I suppose it was simply set up for smoother roads without the big hits.
@@JETZcorpin the video the dude who wrecked posted he made a comment agreeing with what you said , hes used to smoother roads so thats what his car was setup for he was bottoming out bad even before he wrecked , unfortunate
I think its just revlox had his e36 super stiff so he jumps again and again and is losing grip constantly... Probably had the setup where you can see on his videos that his roads ar not that bumpy, and also he didnt know the road.
Just starting my journey to learning the mountain pass despite my SUV setbacks. Watching these videos not only gets my drive itch tingling, but I learn a lot.
vtec kicked in on these mountains yo , gotta love these little civics, so capable and the engines can take the abuse of going fast down a mountain like this.
Man i just felt that way and did my effort to sold my r18 and buy my current FA5. Civic Si its just feels a lot different than the r18 if you love to drive.
@@antoniniotoniif your r18 blew up its not cause you drove it hard. i drove my auto fg1 hard every day it went strong up until my friend totaled it. all while i was behind on maintenance and i needed a new thermostat. i pray somebody salvages it and rebuilds it cause that thing was R E L I A B L E oh yeah it was alot of fun too. my fg2 is faster but if you wanna have fun the fg1 wont let you down
Lol if your from California we can arrange something but i dont need any money. And for your other comment there are no spotters on this run im looking for headlights to determine if i can cut or not its dangerous yes but ive never had a problem in over 10 years lol
@@kushgoblin6420 and on the other side of the spectrum i know some great roads in new hampshire, and i might be 17 but ive done this in 3 cars over the last year and a half and never crashed lol gotta take it slow till u know the car
Insane watching this knowing whats coming.
1:32 that’s the last time you see his headlights, you can see all the trees and branches blocking some light as he dives into the ditch
Yea I was looking for this too
He actually does ua-cam.com/video/sJIt0_yMYwQ/v-deo.html
The corner you lost him at is kind of blind. The edge of asphalt makes it a deceiving corner
Holy shit, I just realized you can see his TAIL LIGHTS. That was a gnarly hit.
you can see the pov of the other driver's crash on his channel Rev Lox
i really like the camera placement its perfect, feels like a video game
It is nice but I would love to see a POV angle from like a GoPro on a hat clip with the hands in it and where he looks etc

Be careful with weight transfer and knowing your cars limits don’t wanna flip it or send it off a cliff
Same here I got a cx5. Just saving for a car to do this and hit the track with.
bro you need proper rollcage and seats and belts i don't want no one to get pressed in car
@@proamis112 yea definitely the right safety equipment
I do this in my f150...it's not bad 275 wide tires and wiegh about 4850 I can get down handles way better then my dad tundra trd limited

Insane how rough the road is.
Will throw off people who are used to track -like smootness vs a more Dynamic course
@@RidgeChaser Yep, absolutely. Also locals will know the smoother line vs hitting the jumps.
shi this one road i went to knocked my motor mount loose this road look smooth asf compared to that one😭
looks like a whimsical occurrence in the mirror at 1:34
Rev lox crashed I think this is the same run
@@sobr1915 lol yes it is that’s what I was referencing
fg2 is a beast of a car, i would know
You post, I watch. Its a simple life.
Watched the chase view before this and its wild to watch them go off road in the rear view. Shout out fg2 gang
K20z3 engine is so nice. It can do this all day!
That looks scary as hell but also very fun
Comparing both POVs you see just how much better this FG2s suspension was. That e36 was just way too stiff.
*VTEC ORGASM* Music to my ears!
the e36 is made for Revs home course where the civic is for this one
Most fun kind of driving there is
I really want this touge on Assetto Corsa it looks so fun
It looks like a horror game which you're driving so fast at the midldle of the woods just to escape murderers.
Im getting an AE-86 soon.
one of the best to ever do it
Jesus Christ I regret buying and staying with my R18
Whats an R18?
@@TheAchitori The FG1 and FA1 Hondas. The non Si ones that don't use the K20.
careful with the r18 bruh, mine blew up last week from hard driving now i gotta bus to work😓

So how come Rev was jumping so hard and you weren't. Did you just know where to break or is this a suspension thing?
that Reggae tho :D
poor e36 :c
Sheeeeeesshhh 🔥🔥🔥
that was when revloxe crashed the e36??
Correct
Yep that’s fast!!!
Any chance you can ask the alignment specs? I'm very curious
What suspension setup are you running on the civic?
Tore that course up & dusted the guy behind you lol
Guy behind him crashed
You still alive?
lmao
Dawg are you okay? Hope everything is going well, would love to get an update from you.
what happened?
@@Scotty-vs4lfhe wrecked. This is the lead car. Look at the rear view mirror about half way thru the video you can see him go off the mountain
Doing well, thanks for checking. The recent crash vid circulating is from Rev Lox, not me. I'll have a video ready by next Friday, it is almost 👍
good to see both you and Rev still active. can't wait for more vids. be safe out there
Lovely camera setup. What rig did you use? Thanks!
This video used a GoPro Hero 8 attached to visor 👍
Is this the other pov from the run where rev lox crashed, 1:32 ?
Yes it is! Good find
@@RidgeChaser ha thanks for the confirmation, if you don’t mind me asking, you planning on uploading anytime soon, love the videos?!
Thanks, I'm trying to get one done by next week 🙏
Is the road closed when you do this? If not that insanity haha I would be way too scared of ramming into a car
Yes
Spottere are used!
Touge America
How do yall know no one coming didn’t see any spotter
who's the driver?
Kush Goblin
suspension setup seems a lil stiff
You're right, it was too stiff for this type of course. Gonna film again once the owner has the suspension dialed in
fvck yeah

using the brakes makes you go faster and stay on the road
